Oh. My. God!!! I am absolutely head over heels in love with this wonderful series!!! Elle James and Kris Norris you have absolutely outdone yourself once again!!
This book held me a willing prisoner from the first page, pulling me along with love and care. I was gutted to reach the end, so of course I had to go back and read it again, just to make sure I’d soaked all the goodness up!!
Kash and his team are such a close knit family, true brothers-in-arms. They are completely in sync with each other and support and protect with their lives if necessary.
I loved Kash’s alpha ways. His need to protect front and centre at all times. He’s a total badass, but he’s also kind and caring. I love how he doesn’t shirk from danger, but meets it head on and embraces it. He’s definitely the kind of guy who makes your knees wobbles and your heart skips a few beats.
Jordan is an amazing woman. She’s had a life that would be everyone else’s worst nightmare, yet she still retains a soul full of pure goodness.
I love her need to protect those she has come to care about just as much as they need to protect her. I think this story portrays in the most beautiful way that women are just as strong and capable as men. Women can do whatever they need to when they set their mind to it. Elle James and Kris Norris have excelled themselves with this absolutely spellbinding read. This series is so compelling and addictive, I can’t wait for the next one!!!

no secrets in family
Kash and Jordan/Ember. I was so glad that Kash and the wonderful Nyx were next for their HEA and that Jordan was the one perfect for the k9 handler. Danger is surrounding Jordan and no one is surprised as Kash has thought she was shadow ops or something similar for a while. Jordan is in the run from a very evil and powerful ghost that ends up bringing quite a few allies to her side that she didn’t know about. Bodie waa full of surprises and so was Greer. The danger to Mac’s family was a surprise and so was the final villain. I did think the oversight of it was silly as the character had shared enough near the beginning to be looked into, but otherwise I enjoyed the twists and turns and family surprises of this story and can’t wait for the next adventure!

I love how this team is a family and will welcome others into the family. Jordan has had a rough life and only knows how to do things on her own. Kash has worked with his team and knows how to work with others. He really wants to be with Jordan, but she has a "stay away" vibe. When he has a near death experience, he vows to ask Jordan for a date. He does ask and it sets so many things in motion. Jordan wants to trust Kash and his team, but she isn't sure she knows how to work with others. When evil comes for her, she is ready to lay down her life to save others. Can Kash convince her to work with the team? He isn't about to let her go now.

This book was excellent, I couldn't about it down. Kash and Jordan/Amber made a great couple with similar skills. Jordan can hold her own with any man. Elle and Kris did an outstanding job of writing this story. There's non stop action, suspense, heat and surprises. HEA.

I Love, Love, Love this series!
Raven's Claw, book two of Elle James and Kriss Norris' Romantic Suspense series, Raven's Cliff, is a magnificent example of the genre. The collaboration between these two authors has resulted in an amazing action-packed story on par with some of the best suspense novels, like Lee Child's Jack Reacher. I am so impressed with the realistic and relatable feel of the setting and characters thus far in this series.
The setting for the series is the rugged Oregon Coast in the small town of Raven's Cliff. Having spent my summers at my grandparents' place on that coast, the descriptions of the cold ocean waves breaking over the rocky shore were like a trip down memory lane. Oregon was the only place this California girl ever wore a coat on the beach! I could also empathize with the main character, Kash, who found peace in the wild frontier. Exploring the old apple orchard and climbing the rocks near the rugged ocean shore near Grandma and Poppie's Oregon Homestead provided a happy break from the stress of school and home. The epic rescues involving the former Coasties and the battle with monster waves were even more intense because of my vivid memories of the Oregon surf.
I also enjoyed the slow-burning relationship between Kash and Jordan. I had hints of their attraction in book one, and the building sexual tension in the setup chapters made me want to scream, " Just kiss the girl!" Kash and Jordan's love story was almost as suspenseful as the battle against the "ghost" operatives, hidden identities, and nasty weather! I appreciated that there was more to this story than erotic love scenes (though those were hot enough to melt metal-yum!) The romance enhanced the intensity and desperation of the mission. The rescue is sweeter because it resulted in a happily-ever-after.
The best part of this series is the family-like love, devotion, and commitment between the brothers-in-arms. Having survived a horrendous, failed mission, they successfully rebuild their lives in Raven's Cliff. The teasing banter and pranks are reminiscent of large, happy family gatherings. Elle and her fellow author, Kriss, excel at writing laugh-out-loud dialogue! I had to stop and share several passages with my siblings because they were hilarious! I must thank the authors for providing comic relief to an otherwise exhilarating, tension-filled, life-threatening plotline!
I can't wait to read book three in the series!

Another great addition to the Raven’s Watch series with Kash, his trusted K9 Nyx and Jordan, a waitress at the local coffee shop, who is more than “just a waitress” Jordan has skills that many operatives would envy and Kash wants to know all about her. He’s been going to the shop and talking her up but has never made the move for more than friends. After a harrowing rescue, Kash is done waiting and makes his move and once again, Jordan proves to be more than a waitress. Jordan has her secrets and if anyone knows who she really is, it will all come crashing down but she is tired of being alone, fighting on her own and she will need the help of all of Kash’s friends to get rid of the threat…but will it be enough.
So so so so so so GOOD, from the first page to the last the action and suspense keeps coming and the pages kept flipping. I LOVED the no drama between them and once all is revealed, no one bats an eye. Jordan is kick but and can hold her own…a great female heroine who doesn’t hold back. Kash and Nyx stole my heart, a K9 smarter than most people and loyal to Kash and Kash, who isn’t threatened by the skills his woman possesses.

Oh my goodness, I just *love* how this team feels like a big, happy family! They're so welcoming and always ready to pull someone in with open arms. So, there's Jordan—she's had a pretty tough journey in life and honestly, she's used to doing everything on her own. Then there's Kash—he’s been working with his team for ages and truly knows how to vibe and collaborate with others. He’s got this adorable crush on Jordan and really wants to get to know her better, but she’s got this whole “stay away” vibe going on, you know?
Anyway, picture this—Kash has a super close call with death, and that experience totally changes him. He promises himself he'll ask Jordan out on a date, and guess what? He does! And oh boy, that tiny step sends the whole story into a whirlwind of new possibilities. Jordan, on her part, really wants to trust Kash and his team, but she's a little unsure how to let others in—it's like she's hesitant to let anyone get too close.

While it felt a little bit like an insta love trope, it also felt like the tension between Jordan and Kash had been brewing for awhile since it started in the last book. Kash had a close call on a rescue mission and decided it was time to make his move, and it was just in time for a whole host of events that followed. Jordan’s past as an agent of a Shadow Ops team came roaring back and it took Kash’s whole team as well as some other new faces to save Jordan in the end. I liked the action and that the romance took place before it really got started. I liked the team and the trust they put in Jordan. And I loved the relationship between Jordan and Kash. There was nothing she could have told Kash that would have changed his feelings about her. This series has been great so far and I can’t wait for the next two books.

Book 2 of the Ravens Cliff Series (Raven's Claw) lives up to the anticipation I had after reading Book 1 ( Raven's Watch). Both Elle James and Kris Norris write together flawlessly-their work takes the best of both and combines it into one stellar book. The best I can describe is that their writing satisfies all my cravings:
-a captivating and realistic plot involving my favorite types (ex-military and dark op's)
-strong and attractive characters that can each hold their own in a fight
-action/drama without any eye roll moments - can you say captivating storyline with well researched realism
- fantastic community/world building - love all the characters in the town
They just write a dang good tale that I can enjoy. Not a book you want to put down and finish later. I rarely say that. So if you like series that have all the above, read the Raven Cliff books. I was happy to read and review this book and eagerly await the rest in the series.

This series just keeps getting better with every installment, and "Raven’s Claw" is no exception. Again, this book was highly rated on Amazon. Again, I am not sure why. It has the same flaws as the first book except for one thing: Because the book focuses on Kash, Nyx’s handler, we get to see more of the dog. The writing is no better in this book than the 1st one in the series. The characters are mostly flat and one-sided. All damaged, all needing rescue by another person. The best characters other than the dog in this one are the ones not from the original team like Atticus and Bodie. They at least have some personality apart from being damaged and needing to be saved by having a relationship with someone else. Still not sure why I’m still reading the series except that I keep hoping it gets better.

Roller coaster ride with all the shocks and surprises. The beginning felt like you were on a tilt a whirl I wanted to yell duck, run and more. I would say put on a seat belt when you Raven's Claw and hang on for the ride. This is Kash's book and Ember/Jordan. There were some surprises and a huge twist I didn't see coming. For all you steamy alcoholics (of which I am not) there is plenty. I am loving this series and am looking forward to book 3, Finns story. Thank you for the advance copy. I LOVE Jordan! She is awesome, kickass, has amazing skills, is slightly broken and has no idea how to be part of a team...but craves it with every breath in her body.
Kash has been in love with Jordan for months, only, when he finally makes his move the shadows of her past catch up and rain down hell on their present. Kash, Jordan and Nyx are a pretty unbeatable team, but add in the rest of Raven's Watch Team and their "friends" and not even the best of black ops stand a chance. It's packed with action, danger, intrigue and the perfect amount of crazy....because it's the crazy that counts when it comes to Raven's Cliff.

This series keeps getting better and better. In my opinion this story full of action was absolutely perfect. Jordan is an independent and courageous woman and Kash is her ideal match. A great deal of this book is mainly concentrated on the issue of bringing down an unauthorized organization, a menace for Jordan but the entire team of Raven’s Nest and the love of her life will help her through this difficult time. I don’t want to leave any spoilers but I really recommend the reading of the book.

This is a great book! I loved it! I loved the camaraderie of Kash and his friends. I liked the part where Kash had been going into the café where Jordan worked to get coffee so that he could see and talk to her. When trouble shows up looking for Jordan, the whole team jumps in to protect her. I was given an ARC for an honest review, and I loved it. I loved the descriptions of the landscape, I feel like I have seen it all. I also loved Kash and Jordan. There’s lots of action, suspense, intrigue, romance and friendship. I recommend this book!

I love the story and can't wait for the next book. Jordan has secrets and is laying low in Ravens Cliff. She used to be a part of a ghost op and found betrayal and left. Rook was her handler and he is not letting her go. Kash and his team are living in Raven's Cliff and are looking for piece and quite. He is a K9 handler and is interested in Jordan. After almost dying, he decides he needs to make a move to get to know her better. Their adventure begins. Keeps you on the edge of your seat with the suspense. I read an arc of this book and this is my review.

Ok so maybe this is just because I haven't read the first book and there's more about the characters embedded into someone else's story, but this book jumped straight into the romance/sex angle with no development of the relationship or anything, making it hard to feel enthusiasm towards the pairing. The whole point of the book is Jordan is this undercover operative trying to hide out in town but immediately outs herself to the whole team of men, and within the first 4 chapters tells them all she used to be an operative and then has sex with the MMC.

Jordan is in Raven's Claw, hiding from her explosive and dangerous past. Kash is there to help when things get really rough, but it is hard for Jordan to trust and try to rely on a team when she is so used to working alone. Explosive action and danger as the team comes together again to help each other and, maybe, anew member.

This breathtaking and heart stopping romance was another incredible entry for this incredible series. Kash and Jordan were amazing characters that were complex but very easy to like. This couple had me all in and fiercely rooting them on. The combination of romance and suspense is well seasoned with a blend of emotion, heart, drama, action, danger, tension, heat and twists that seduced me right in and kept me in an intense hold from start to finish.

Kash and his team are all alpha and protectors until their dying days. Jordan is a local waitress and yet shows skills that makes her so much more. She's a loner and always has been and cannot ask for help, but the team are standing by her when trouble hits.

She's A Firecracker
Kash and Jordan's story was action packed! The whole plot was very unique and intriguing. The relationship that forms between these two main characters will keep you on your ties. Nyx is just an amazing strong character as well. So far from the very first story the dynamics between the team, a true brotherhood and the other community members is truly refreshing. I look forward to book 3. Hopefully, soon!
