What do you mean, Sin is just a cat? Don’t let him hear you saying that. He’s much more than just some simple house cat, that’s for sure.
Can a familiar be allowed to fall in love with a warlock? The question keeps circling in Sin’s head. Ever since he first met Marcus, in fact. Maybe he’s the only one who feels this pull towards the purple-eyed warlock. Though I suppose there’s only one way to find out. With Aiden no longer needing him to look over him, Sin has a chance to live his own life for once. On a spur-of-the-moment decision, Sin decides to follow his heart, which ends up leading him straight to Marcus’s doorstep. He didn’t mean for things to get wildly out of control so fast. When he accidentally shifts into his human form, all bets are off. Sin hasn’t shifted for over a decade, and everything feels foreign to him now. What he didn’t expect was for all these feelings to start overwhelming him. And all these feelings are suddenly being conjured because of Marcus. Does anyone else smell catnip around here, or is it just Sin?,,,,,
Double Double Sin and Trouble is a black cat vibes kind of book. cute snarky romcom, MM, and more. Fast Paced, instalove / instalust
Bite Me Series Mistakenly Departed Kinda Dead Inside Coffin for Two Bite Me at the Altar
Double Double Sin and Trouble Batty for Matty Generation Death
While this one is a standalone it helps to read the first three books since it will have interconnecting characters in the book.
Sin isn't really needed since Aiden isn't a warlock anymore and is a bit preoccupied with his new husband. However, he has always felt a pull toward Marcus.
When he wakes up in his human form and Marcus doesn't turn him away he gets to experience things he can't even remember.
This is a quick story of a familiar finding his place now that his assigned warlock is no longer a warlock.
This was such a cute, fun read! I loved Sin so much with his sassy attitude. I thought he and Marcus complimented each other so well. Lots of spice and cute banter. Great read!
I loved Double Double Sin and Trouble by Jennifer Carter. I loved Marcus and Sin's story. I loved when Sin went shopping at the mall and met another snarky familiar named Ash and they later went to a club with Ash's warlock Killian. I loved how sassy and dramatic Sin is and how feral he is. He hasn't been a in his human for in ten plus years so he totally thinks like a cat. He's possessive, knows what he wants, and has no shame, but his feelings are easily hurt. I loved when he went into heat. I wish we got to see Sin go through his pregnancy, I bet he had some weird cravings and the drama would have been through the roof. I haven't read the other books in the series yet, but I'm hoping that Ash and Killian get a book.
Boy did I like this book, I didnt want it to end. Sin is a snarky familiar who knows what he wants and it's Marcus. I loved seeing Sin the cat go from wondering if he could ever have something with him. To being human and knowing it's possible. And I loved how Sin retained some cat like qualities.
This book is about 3/5 on the spice scale not vers. 5/5 when it comes to snark and sass. I really recommend this book it's so good.
I'll be upfront, I didn't read the other three books ahead of this one, but Jennifer was able to tell the story without going too into detail but with enough to where I knew what was going on. I loved sin's character! Snarky black cat and adjusting to being human was adorable. Loved the mall scene!!! Great read, cute with spice.
I am a cat lover and Sin does not let me down. His sassy attitude and his new found freedom - oh all the fun we will have! When Sin shifts into his human form all because of Marcus. It becomes just a little bit overwhelming. But this is a fun book and I love it. I received an advance review copy at no cost and am leaving this review voluntarily. 🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Sin is just as fun as a human as he is as a cat. The love between Marcus and Sin is incredibly strong, but obstacles stand in the way.
The book is well-written and full of humor. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.
