Finding Rainbows: For Families

Rate this book
This is a story of transformation from sadness to joy. It is a memoir written for kids and adults. The idea for this book began when I came to realize through the gentle confrontation of friends, that my thoughts were mostly negative. I had experienced difficulty, including tragedy, loss, abuse, and neglect. These are quickly left behind in this memoir which explores the joyful moments and activities that occurred in my fascinating and exotic life, and culminates in things which are ongoing, suggesting ways to enjoy life now. The book is written topically, not in chronological order, so that a parent can read almost any chapter as a story in itself. The stories are of pets, travels, games, places, adventures, music, and art. Ordinary little moments and grand endeavors that made a lasting impression on me are highlighted, from my earliest childhood to the present. Families will love reading this book out loud together and reliving these happy memories with me. This is inspiring!
