Race pimping has cost America TRILLIONS of dollars, as the money in race guilt is fantastic. Politicians line their pockets and those of family and friends, while delivering little to nothing to their constituents or the community at large. *********************************************************************Don’t know whether to buy this book or not, then you are a racist sellout! Just kidding. But it does mean you are likely cheap, and not to go all Shawshank on you, but salvation lies within! To help you get over the hump, here are a few excerpts to "The money in diversity is enormous, even bigger than former sportscaster turned political pundit turned sportscaster Keith Olbermann’s ego.""Wouldn’t you like to be a “reverend” and father children out of wedlock without repercussions? If you study hard, this book will teach you how to have your non-profit organization pay your mistress and your child support – all at the same time.""You must be so black that if you eat sushi, watch reruns of Dawson’s Creek and Friends, or enjoy the ballet, you will hang yourself.""Everything your constituency does or think must be viewed through the very narrow prism of blackness. They must talk black, walk black, think black, read black, eat black, drink black, dress black, smell black, sneeze black, cough black, yawn black, surf the Internet black, and even urinate black. Failure to do so has consequences."*********************************************************************Other books written by Kevin • The BIG Black How I Learned The Truth About The Democrat Party• Sexy ...and other political lies!
Good read. Told in a very sarcastic light describing current issues of the day. Read, and learn. I enjoy other perspectives. Rape baiting is only in it for the money. Since the civil rights March, how much has really changed ? How much has improved ? Are your leaders making progress, or is it just banter. Explore where the problems now lies, and ask yourself, could it be me ?
I loved the way the author points out the the problems of race gaiters/race pimpers. He tells this all with a sense of humor that left me with a big smile.
A (SARCASTICALLY FACETIOUS) “WORKING MANUAL” FOR LIBERALS
Author Kevin Jackson wrote in the Foreword to this 2014 book, “Race pimping knows no color… Whether you’re black or white, a Liberal, a Democrat, a progressive… you can get a race pass and this book will teach you how to be a race pimp for fun and for profit… If you’re going to go through the trouble of creating victims, why not profit from them?” (Pg. ix) He adds in the first chapter, “Your new job is to fool black people into thinking they need leadership. They must look to a black Moses to lead them into the Promised Land, and Moses is your middle name… Let’s get one thing clear. If you’re not willing to extort people and compromise your ethics, then stop right here, as race-pimping is not for you.” (Pg. 2, 4)
He notes, “Black does not necessarily mean ‘color.’ It’s much more than that… native Africans, West Indians, Haitans, and so on do not count as ‘black.’ You must count them as ‘foreigners,’ nothing more.” (Pg. 15-16)
He suggests, “An essential element of authentic blackness is to ‘glorify the ghetto.’ … In other words, if it ain’t ghetto, it ain’t black.” (Pg. 24, 26)
He observes, “like black on black crime, ‘black on black’ slavery doesn’t count for America’s race baiters… there is no money in this type of slavery. There is no white man to threaten or intimidate, only other Africans. And like the first slave trade of Africans selling other Africans, there can be no mention of that by ‘African Americans.’ Let this be a lesson to you. You are not interested in black-on-black genocide at all. Only white-on-black genocide is a tragedy worthy of recognition. Blacks killing other blacks is never as bad as whites killing blacks.” (Pg. 42-43)
He (facetiously) suggests, “If someone claims the number one problem in the black community is teen pregnancies and the percentage of black children born out of wedlock jumped from 25% to 70% in the last 30 years, change the subject, ignore him, or find some other reason to blame slavery and the white man for that. Moral issues in the black community are not your concern.” (Pg. 52)
He states, “Blacks must always demand that the federal, state, county, and city governments take the responsibility of solving all the problems of the black community. It is the government’s responsibility to provide jobs---not that we really expect some black people to work in the first place. It’s much more lucrative for us to have black people sit around and pick up a check at their convenience, than to work. A work ethic builds character, and it’s a slippery slope to independence from there. We will have none of them.” (Pg. 65)
He points out, “There is nothing on earth meaner than a black Liberal who wakes from a stupor, especially when they wake up to facts. These people become black Conservatives, the most dangerous blacks of all to you. Consider the black Conservative your mortal enemy, worse than the KKK. Black Conservatives are like the freedmen of the past. When freedman interacted with slaves, the slaves got uppity. It doesn’t take many freethinkers to turn the tide.” (Pg. 78)
He says, “It is embarrassing for me to admit, but years ago blacks had more respect for education. As you might imagine, there were very few race pimps, who made their money by fomenting hate in the black community. Lucky for you, Liberals have become ‘progressive,’ when it comes to their treatment of blacks, which is why race-pimping opportunities abound---with proper training, of course.” (Pg. 113)
He concludes, “Well, that’s it. You are well on your way to becoming a black race pimp and a profitable one at that! This book is a working manual, your bible, so don’t be afraid to write in it, and you should keep it with you at all times.” (Pg. 141)
Jackson (along with other conservatives) identifies any number of valid areas of criticism of liberals; but his sarcastic tone---carried through more than 150 pages---can get a bit wearisome. Conservatives looking for sarcastic rebukes of liberals on racial/ethnic issues will enjoy this book.
I looked forward to reading this book because I enjoyed the author on the radio. But the book lacks what I like about his radio appearances: Succinctness.
