Entertaining

THE BOSS is full of mafia action, revenge, and cavorting around in luxury through Greece. It’s an age gap romance with them reuniting when she’s all grown up. The story has spicy romance and suspenseful twist, some of which I predicted and others that were surprising. It kept me entertained.

The book has action, danger, treachery, plot twists, and violence. There is also love, romance, understanding, plenty of steam, and a HEA.

Dimitrios Nomikos is the Greek mafia Don of the Nomikos crime family is hell bent on a part for revenge after his youngest brother Leandro was murdered at one of the family's night club. He's tearing up the city looking for the perpetrator when his search bring him to the door steps of Willow Winters a girl he knew from childhood. Her family and his were friends when they were growing up and Willow had always had a crush on him. He hadn't seen her since she was twelve years old after she and her family moved away. The family was in town on vacation in Greece and he decided to visit them. But when he got there he found that they were both brutally murdered. Willow was also in town with her parents after she had just graduated with her Masters degree and had went out to celebrate at one of Dimitrios club with some of her girlfriends. When Dimitrios get to her parents house he encountered a brutal scene. Willow came back from clubbing to fine Dimitrios in the house and her parents dead bodies. She believes that he was the one who committed the act.
To keep Willow safe from meeting the same faith he decided to bring her under his protection as they tries to figure out who killed their family. He knows that he would be better able to protect her if she had his name so they agreed to a fake marriage. The two got married and things changed from there on out. They're attracted to each other and there's nothing that they can do about it but to give into their desires. It was sensual, erotic, steamy and raunchy. What started out as marriage-of-convenience quickly turned into something much more bigger and real than they thought it would. Dimitrios is handsome, ruthless, powerful and dangerous. Willow was beautiful, fiery, sassy and smart. Their past collide with their future and from there it was one rollercoaster ride of shock, intrigued, passion, surprises and danger. I great story that demands to be read.

She’s on vacation with her family in Greece. They are visiting old family friends, when her parents are murdered. He steps in. He is her uncles best friend, the handsome Greek she had a crush on in her teen years. He is also part of Greek mafia. His brother was also murdered and he wants to find out if they are connected and who is behind it. When he suggests a fake marriage/engagement to draw the killer out, only things get real fast. They have not only chemistry and passion that draws them together, they also challenge each other and have a push and pull. They bait each other and for a man used to dominance it is irresistible. Their passion is very hot and steamy. They cannot get enough of each other and even when they are fighting they are ready to get down. It is panty melting, or in this case panty ripping hot and spicy. They fall hard for each other in the midst of trying to solve the murders and mafia/family drama. She may be 15 years younger than him but she is no shrinking violet and will give as good as she gets. They almost have a Mr and Mrs Smith (spy movie) vibe with their calmness in the midst of chaos all while baiting each other, and then passionate kissing. It is a wild adventure, I did think it was a little bit long and could have been condensed, but I enjoyed the original challenges they faced, shooting at planes… sharks… there was a lot going on! They do get their happily ever after once they solve the murders and get justice, continuing their power play all the way to the end.

Dimitrios Nomikos is head of the Greek Mob. Someone will pay for the death of his brother Leandro. They believe it is the work of The Stalker and possible a family friend, Shane Winters. But things take a major turn when he sees Willow again. Willow has just received her master’s and just wants to enjoy a night with her girls. When she comes home, she is met but a big hulking man. And worse, her parents are dead. When she realizes who he is, can she trust him or does she need to run. And what does her brother have to do with it all. This was a really good read. I do love the age difference. Dima comes off cold and controlling but it takes a really good woman like Willow to bring him to his knees. We learn about an incident in his past that he keeps closed off. He has to trust Willow though to realize that it needs to be cleared. I love that it was Willow with the idea to draw her brother out. I wasn’t sure who was the one to blame for both murders. I had a pretty good idea but was still shocked about in the person. I figured out the other. I had a feeling it would be an “eye for an eye.” Looking forward to reading about who is next to fall.

A dark romance with heartbreak, villains and extreme suspense!
I feel for Dimitrios as he comes to grip with the loss of his brother at the hands of a hired gun known as the Stalker. I loved Willow from the start as she connects with a long ago friend to have a night out at Club Sin and Shame vs. stay home at her parents vacation villa in Greece. While on the dance floor, Willow eyes a gorgeous man as the same time Dimitrios spots her briefly while going to the office with his brothers to figure out what is going on. Later, he discovers that the woman he spotted is none other than the niece of his American friend, Dimitrios decides to visit Willow and her parents whom they vacationed with once upon a time. When he comes across a horrible discovery, he tries to stop Willow to no avail and thus starts the meat of the plot. Is Willow’s brother the enemy they are looking for, or just a pawn in the plot that has Willow’s life endangered. Dimitrios does the unthinkable to keep Willow safe, yet still plays hot and cold with Willow. As the plot thickens, Willow comes in to her own right and you’ll say “Atta girl”. Will Dimitrios solve the puzzle and keep Willow safe? You have to read to find out and don’t expect to put the book down until you turn the last page!

Wow, Dimitrios Nomikos is the boss to the Greek Mafia, he received a call that his brother Leandro is dead, he then goes and looks at the situation he feels his brother new the person. He needed to talk so he went to his best friends home and what he found nearly made him sick. His men looked into everything and the only information they found was it was the handy work of The Stalker. Willow has finished her degree and now has her master's, and went out celebrating with her girlfriends. When Willow woke up she went to see her parents that's when she met him sitting on her parents bed, Dimitrios doesn't want Willow to see her parents it was brutal as if it was personal but kept that little part from her. Dimitrios will do anything to protect her so he told her to marry him so his men will keep her safe. There was so much action, twist and turns, suspense, trauma, danger, betrayal, secrets, lies, kidnapping, Mafia, now these two get close trying to find out who did this horrible things.

Dimitrio is in charge when it comes to the Nomokis mafia family. When his youngest brother is murdered at one of their clubs the family must try to figure out who is after them. They are under immense stress to figure this out before someone else get’s killed. The next day Dimitrio has an idea to visit some old friends that are vacationing nearby. When he gets to the house they have been murdered. Their daughter Willow walks in and sees them. The plot thickens. Willow is in shock and Dimitrio is going to have her stay with him until they can figure out what is going on. There are so many possibilities- is everyone who they say they are? So many lies, deception and death. Watch out for the spiders - they are weaving their webs of deceit. One thing I knew for sure was Willow is mine to love. She brought me out of my darkness and made me feel again. She is everything I needed. A dark and deadly story with passion, romance, tenderness and in the end, love will save them both. Fantastic read!.

Dimitrious Nomikos is a powerful, commanding and ruthless mafia king. Willow Winters was a childhood friend of his family. Willow and her family were in Greece celebrating her graduation. Willow ends up at the club with some of her friends when Dimitrious’ brother was killed in the club. Dimitrious and some of his men are arrested on some trumped-up charges. Once he gets out, he goes looking for Willow at her parent’s house. The scene he runs into is messy. When Willow walks in, she knows she has encountered a monster, and he believes that her brother has something to do with his brother’s murder.

Feeling the need to protect her, but also using her to draw her brother out, he demands marriage. The attraction is intense, and things start to change, but someone is still out there trying to kill Dimitrious. It’s nothing short of a roller coaster ride – betrayal, lies, danger and chemistry.

Word on the street is that The Stalker is out to kill all of Dimitrios's family and Willow who is a loose end. As they start to work together to bring the murderer out in the open both Willow and Dimitrios discover that perhaps love can be a strength not a weakness. I absolutely loved this first book of the Vengeful Empire. This hot and steamy book is full of suspense, twists, turns and surprises. I love how Willow constantly kept Dimitrios on his toes and surprising him. This book didn't disappoint and I highly recommend it. Looking forward to the next in this series.

A simply wonderful read, characters that hold your attention you’ll be captivated
Willow has always known that her life was under threat from those that had so cruelly taken the lives of her family years before and now they have come to kill her and she goes to the only man that can help her Dimitrios.
Dimitrios is a family friend and after she contacts him, she marries him for his protection and she knows that he will keep her safe as her husband, however as she spends her days with him she begins to desire his touch and his words and realises that she has fallen in love with her husband.
This was a simply wonderful read and I guarantee that you will be captivated by this book.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

Dimitrios and Willow new each other when they were younger and then meet again when tragedy strikes both of them. Dimitrios is the typical alpha male who thinks he knows everything. Willow at first starts out as the typical young woman who's not so aware of the world going in the bigger world. She does stand up to Dimitrios and that intrigues him. I know they are supposed to be in love with each other and while I got that from Willow at the end I didn't get it from Dimitrios. He seems more in lust and treating it as an arrangement.

There were bits that dragged & were a bit confusing but it worked out in the end when all was revealed. Willow is sassy and isn't afraid. She and Dimitrios will go to any lengths to protect family. Dimitrios and Willow. A Greek Mafia Boss. Her brother is Shane and Dim wants him to come out of hiding so he takes Willow to "PROTECT" her. Dim thinks her brother has ended his brothers life and of others. But when Willow trys to get her brother for help he has abandoned her. Dim marries Willow for revenge but then it turns to more. You know the line is thin between love and hate. This line has not only thined but has blurred and disappeared.
Revenge, danger, action, betrayal, a dark dangerous alpha male with obssessive and possessive vibes that will protect her at any cost and passion. This is a story that will keep you intrigued and entertained from page one to the ens and you wont be able to put it down. Piper stone never disappoints.

A fast paced story that starts with murder - Dimetrios's younger brother and Willow's parents. While they seem to be 2 different events, nothing is a coincidence in Dimetrios's mind. Willow is somehow connected to the murders - or so it seems. The child that Willow was, has now turned into a woman. And that woman is an attraction that Dimetrios cannot ignore. As they work together to find out who the killer is, the attraction between these two heats up and Dimetrios knows he will never let her go. As all the pieces slowly fall into place, so does the need to keep Willow with him. Luckily, Willow's attraction to him works in his favor - if he can keep her alive. Lots of twists and turns to this dangerous mystery.

The Boss is the 1st book in the new series Vengeful Empire and follows Dimitrios Nomikos and Willow Winters. It's an incredible storyline with intriguing characters that will keep you engaged, captivated, holding your breath waiting for the next OMG moment.
Their story will take you on a wild ride of danger, murder, betrayal, secrecy and suspense mixed in with sizzling hot chemistry, unwavering loyalty and determination. I must say I loved that Willow had a backbone and refused to be pushed aside. Dimitrios was brutal yet not with her as she found a way to ease his demons. Together they were a force to be reckoned with.

I can't wait to read the next book.

WOW! An Explosive Read!

When they met again it was under the worst of circumstances but before she knew, she was in an intense love affair with the one person who she couldn’t resist.

Dimitrios was arrogant, passionate, dangerous, everything a Boss should be.

He ruled with an iron fist but the one thing he wanted above everything else was Willow and what he wanted he always got.

A full on action packed entertaining read full of suspense, danger and betrayal as they try their best to get one step ahead of the mysterious enemy who was determined to fulfill his contract.

Oh so good!

I just love Dimitrios,he sounded like a dream boat who knew what he wanted and he got it or else.Willow got in Dimitrios's site and he takes to protect her and try to have her brother Shane come out of hiding,he may behind the killing of his brother and a few other people.Willow goes threw alot and she only trust her brother who doesn't show up or text her when she needs help.Dimitrios and his family also go thru horrible death and now they have fine out who is behind it.This story kept me on the edge of my set,it was set with a few surprises and a happy ending too!

Piper Stone has done it again!! Dimitrios Nomikos is the head of the Greek Mafia and will find out who murdered his brother. Willow Winters has just discovered her parents murdered, her brother is missing, and she believes Dimitrios is responsible. When he kidnaps her for her safety, she is angry and tries to escape. But keeping her safe and finding out who the murderer is becomes Dimitrios overwhelming priority. Great characters, sizzle, steam, action, drama, twists, turns, and more, this was another 5 star read from Piper Stone for me.

I thought this book was amazing. It was well written and the characters were brilliant. Dimitrios and Willow what opposites but they just worked. They knew each other before when they were younger, and twists in this book brings them together again. They just bounce of each other, she says what she thinks not caring who he is know. Dimitrios Loves the challenge she brings. It’s a great storyline, well thought out and has an easy flow. It’s exciting where you need to know what’s happening and you’re hooked. I loved it. Recommend.

Remarkable!!

I what an very interesting and fascinating story. If you enjoy dark mafia, age-gap stories you will be thoroughly satisfied with Dimitrios and Willow’s intriguing, suspense and very passionate story.
I enjoyed these characters!
Dimitrios is the powerful, protective and sexy kind of book boyfriend we all like.
As for Willow I found her to be strong, willful and witty. I really liked that she fought for what she wanted.
Sizzling chemistry and and a captivating story.
I highly recommend this book if you like losing yourself in a story that is not only tantalizing but thrilling.

Piper Stone has done it again with her newest series, "Vengeful Empire." The first book, "The Boss," evokes many emotions through the vivid portrayal Ms. Stone provides of both the good and bad sides of mafia life, along with the relatable feelings of those involved.
Her Uncle and Dimitrios have been best friends since college, even though Dimitrios is the heir to the Don of the Greek Mafia. Willow Winters and her family visited the Nomikos family in Greece when she was younger. With a 20+ year age gap, she would follow him around everywhere and keep him engaged in conversation. Now grown, the Winters family has returned to Greece for a "vacation" that turns into a family tragedy with a mystery.
A damaged Hero. A head-strong, independent heroine. A combustible chemistry. When everything aligns it's a powerful story that makes me anticipate the next book in the series.

It’s a great story, well written and full of constant action. The two main characters, Dimitrios and Willow were a force to be reckoned with. I loved how they brought the best out in the other person and the interaction between them was 🔥🔥. There are surprises all along the story and some people are not as they appeared to be. There is also a traitor among them who has to be eliminated. It’s a great start to a new series and I can’t wait to read the next story. I absolutely love the cover.

Dimitrios knew Willow when she was a young family friend. He runs into her again when her parents are murdered in Greece, where Dimitrios is the mafia boss. He brings her under his protection and decides to marry her in order to flush out who murdered her parents and possibly his younger brother as well. I love the steamy age gap story with suspense and surprises.

Whew, that was one wild ride. Murder, mayhem, conspiracy, subterfuge “you’re mine” and sexy times. Could you ask for more? It’s the Greek’s turn to have an entire series. Loved every person in this Greek family and am looking forward to their books. Just look at that cover, Greek god indeed! Willow was a rock – she stood up for herself and her brother. The interaction between Dmitrios and Willow was fantastic and the banter exquisite. Another amazing book from Piper.

Willow has just graduated college and is down to celebrate on family vacation but things don't go as planned. Dimitrios is hellbent on finding whoever is targeting his family. Things become complicated when they realize who is behind the events that have happened.

I adored reading this book. It was fully realized. I also loved the strength and confof the main characters.
