Anthony lives in Apex, North Carolina. He is a reader, writer, runner, husband, father, and stay at home dad - one of the toughest jobs anyone could ever do.
This was a short book that I got for free on Amazon. It featured two extra stories which are what I'm mostly going to talk about. The first story is about a man who buys a treadmill online but it is no ordinary treadmill. I thought this story was alright. It was very short but I liked how unique it was. The author actually has a lot of unique ideas for these stories which is why I probably find them decently enjoyable. The second story, which is my favorite, is about two boys who wonder into a cave that essentially puts a curse on the both of them. It was a bit long compared to the other two stories but I liked the story. I wish it would have become a full-length story. The last story which is my least favorite is about a group of friends who go into a haunted house. This plot has been done a million times before but it was a unique element to it. The music of the scenes were really great but I didn't care too much about the characters since they were rushed. Overall, it was a decent anthology of stories. I will most likely be checking out more work from this author just because of their unique stories.
This is a pretty fun and interesting little collection. Well I can't call it can't miss I enjoyed it and look forward to reading more from this author. And if you see a deal for a treadmill that just seems to good to be true steer clear my friends.
The delivery of the treadmill should have raised all the red warning flags to him. I felt like shouting at Bob, “Don’t do it!” “Don’t get on it!” Oh no. He did it. Anthony Renfro took me down a horrid road, proving that if something seems too good to be true, it generally is. Got five minutes? How about a quick trip around the treadmill? Anthony Renfro packs plenty of suspense and action in Killer Treads from the opening words.
