Here we go again with the madness! Kold did not come to play in Ducati Mob 2. Deuce has finally uncovered the snake in his camp, and let’s just say, he’s making sure everybody feels his presence in these streets. The way he moves? Calculated, cold, and about to shake the whole game up.
Now let’s talk about Stormii. Whew, girl… you in danger. And Desire? Baby, she’s got eyes on Deuce and she’s not playing around. She's stepping into the drama with confidence but her next move might be the one that blows everything up for everyone.
This series stays messy, bold, and full of the kind of action that keeps you flipping pages like your life depends on it. Go ahead and dive in now, because you do not want to be behind when the next book hits!

OMG!!
Not when my girl was finally getting some d*ck!! Ok my opinion has almost turned around about Duece and Desire. I am rooting for them and they’re happily ever after together!! I need to know what the fallback for Nyri will be since her crooked ass killed the Mayor!! I hope she’s disgraced and then silenced by a bullet to the head!! I dislike crooked cops!! Stormii needs to go and before anyone finds out that she’s pregnant!! Havoc and Braze are still clowns and need to go right along with Stormii ASAP!! I’m still trying to figure out the bigger picture with Joaquin and his associates. And I hope all is revealed to Savasia and she teams up truly with Duece and Desire to form the head of Ducati Mob!! Five Stars Mr. Kold!! Do Not have me waiting long on the 3rd installment🥰

Whew, a time was had!
It goes without saying BUT this is book 2 of the series. Book 1 (the novella) is vitally necessary to understanding everything going on!
Kold writes chaos in a very calm way. So many POV’s and storylines. Yet, the story never feels cluttered or rushed.
I think this will be a line that I use in all my Ducati Mob reviews- “the author is amazing at adding all of these chaotic elements in such a seamless way”.
It literally unfolds like a high-paced, high-action, prime time tv show.
The story started wild and ended wilder with that cliff-hanger!
Loved this read and definitely recommend this series. I plan on going back to read the author’s catalog as well because the way the stories are told…talented!
*Please be mindful this is a running series that ends on a cliffhanger.
Sidenote- As an old school reader, I love me some chapter titles and a good author’s note!

KOLD has done it again! The drama in this book had me just like book 1. Book 2 did answer questions that I had from book 1. The cliffhanger that book 2 ended with has me ready to go into the next book or should I say episode.

Once again, another ride where who’s who will have you going back pages to keep up. When they say a person needs to be handled, they get it. Kold knocks off people, adds people, keeps pieces moving. Don’t blink because you’ll miss something. They’ll be tons of people you want handled and then you’ll turn the page and add another. Will Deuce survive? Will he ever find peace? Will this war ever end? Kold’s the only one to know. But I bet Stormii better get sum’n done in this next book.

Whew!! We in the thick of it now!!
The heat got turned up in this one. Book 1 was the introduction of characters but book 2 is where it’s gets poppin! More players are introduced. Stolen diamonds and work, murder, torture, cartel boss, dirty cops and politicians, unexpected pregnancy and just page after page of action!
Stormii, baby, girl you in DANGER!! And I don’t think that lil secret is gone save you! Well it better not! She’s the cause for all this chaos. Usually I root for the women but not this one! She’s greedy and messy and Luciano will not be understanding!! But seriously how in the hell did she make it outta book 2?!
Savasia— PURE TROUBLE!! And a savage!! I hope she gets the answer she’s looking for bc I wanna know the reason too!
Nyri- it’s always that one detective that wanna “clean up the streets” but ain’t clean herself. I feel like what you did is gone come back to bite you.
Desire— traitor! And all for some d**k. Savasia gone do you dirty girl… I can feel it.
Duece— I hope this rebuild turns out well bc you don’t know none of these new people you just put on and can you even trust them?

Open Roads by KOLD
Ducati Mob book 2 builds confidently on the foundation laid in the first book, delivering a story that feels bigger, bolder, and more emotionally grounded. The sense of movement both on the road and within the characters really stands out here.
What I enjoyed most was the character development. The leads feel more layered this time, with clearer motivations and higher emotional stakes. Their struggles, loyalties, and personal growth add depth to the fast-paced plot, making it more than just a ride from one conflict to the next. The themes of freedom, trust, and choosing your own path are woven naturally into the story and fit the open-road setting perfectly.
The pacing is strong overall, especially in the middle sections where tension and action balance well with quieter, reflective moments. While a few scenes felt slightly predictable, the chemistry between characters and the immersive atmosphere kept me hooked.
Overall, Open Roads is a solid and engaging sequel that expands the world of the Ducati Mob while staying true to its core.

Kold did not come to play in Book 2, y’all!
It’s messy. It’s action-packed. And the way this story just pulls you in? I’m wrapped up like I live there.
Everybody’s plotting. Everybody’s shady. Power moves left and right.
And don’t even get me started on Stormii… I am so sick of her.
And can we talk about how I’m so glad this is a novella?? Like yes, quick read, but full of chaos. It was so fun to read, I flew through it!
Now I’m sitting here and waiting for Book 3.

Masterful Urban Street Drama
The stakes just keep getting higher for all the characters. There is one scene in here I could have gone my whole life without imagining as I read. I'm probably going to have nightmares about it. 😅 I'm still not sure who I want to come out on top. This story is messy and murderous mayhem at every turn. I'm jumping right into book 3 cause I have to know what is going down.
