Another wonderful read from this author. I loved The Swing and was waiting for the sequel. I wasn’t disappointed. A tale of loss, love, adversity, and perseverance. The plot kept me turning the pages. Very enjoyable read.

A compelling sequel to The Swing. Another novel I couldn’t put down from this author. Continuing to follow the life of Charlotte, and all that that brings, she starts to become more wise as she learns from all the twists and turns that happen to her. Allowing her teachers to be the natural world and her beloved partner, as well as circumstances that happen to her, there are quite a few pearls of wisdom to be mined from the story which made me evaluate and ponder what are the most important values in my own life.
Brilliant story with love, romance, intrigue and laughs as well as stuff to ponder and be curious about. Love the fact that there are wonderful tree facts dotted in there also (as there was in the Swing too). Roll on book 3… can’t wait!

Romance is not my go to genre but what I like about this one and the first book in the series, The Swing, is that it does cross genres slightly. The View Beyond is multi layered , packed with romance, action, drama and heart ache. I love the journey that Charlotte and Peter embark on and watching them both grow as characters is satisfying. There is a shock twist in this instalment which left me needing processing time afterwards. Get stuck into Charlottes battle as she loses her fortune and with Peters help, fights in an attempt to regain it.

Completely enthralled by this story! I couldn’t put it down. Crawshaw has a very easy reading style that puts you right there with his characters. Charlotte goes through a lot of struggle and life changing events. She has to dig deep within herself if she is going to make it. There was heartache, grief, struggle, adversity, acceptance, perseverance, I could go on. There are several plot twists and it’s not a predictable story in the least. It is truly a story like no other. I highly recommend not just this book but the series.

I was hooked in with The Swing and the continuation of Charlotte and Peter's story did not disappoint. Again, it was well written, and I loved the emphasis on Charlotte's self development and growth, in not so much a romance, but a journey of empowerment, self awareness and ultimate happiness and an ending which I was not expecting. This author provides all the elements of an excellent, page turner and I'll be back for more.

The View Beyond is a beautifully written continuation of Charlotte’s journey. raw, honest, and deeply moving. After heartbreak and betrayal, Charlotte must rebuild her life from nothing. Her strength, vulnerability, and determination make this story both powerful and inspiring. Written with emotion and hope. A must read for fans of character driven stories about resilience and rediscovery.

Compelling and enjoyable read

So many books are predictable so it’s very refreshing to read a novel with an unusual plot that takes its own path and surprises you right up to the last page.
Peter and Charlotte have many new challenges to face in this sequel to the swing. This is a story of connection to nature, personal growth, courage, overcoming adversity, the importance of community and friendship and above all the joy of finding true love.

What a great sequel to The Swing. I wondered where the story would go with Peter and Charlotte and I was captivated through the whole book. Luckily I was reading this on holiday so only had to have short breaks to eat and sleep and couldn’t wait to pick it up again!

I don’t want to give any spoilers but I was left wondering why? and cannot now wait for the next book! Don’t leave us waiting too long please!! 😊
