Kiki Swinson was born and raised in Portsmouth, Virginia. She discovered her flair for writing after completing her first novel, Mad Shambles, while serving a five-year sentence at a federal prison. After being released in December 1996, Kiki later went on to self-publish Mad Shambles. Her passion for writing didn't stop there. Writing feverishly into the wee hours of the night, she completed her second novel, Wifey, which was published by Melodrama Publishing. After the success of Wifey, Kiki penned the sequels I'm Still Wifey and Life After Wifey, as well as The Candy Shop and A Sticky Situation.
Wow...Just WOW... I did NOT see this series taking the turns it took..OMG..I don't know how I feel. Sad, regret and why!!!!! So many outcomes could have been avoided...but without the drama....the book would have been boring... I actually felt sorry for Charlene at the end... #tear
For starters I would like to know why was the release date of this book changed so many times??? It had me wondering whether the book was even good at all. Honestly, I bought the book because the price had dropped. Now, that I finished book it was just ok. There were a lot of loose ends that needed to be addressed. Hopefully, part four will deal with those factors. Nonetheless, we have Trice trying to pick up the pieces of her life after her sister is murdered, loss of her baby and Troy going to prison for the rest of his life. While struggling to get through her grief, Charlene still tries to stick it Trice any way she knows how. She even goes as far to involve Trice in a scheme that will have deadly consequences. Read and follow these ladies as their fates swings back and forth like a pendulum. There were some editing mistakes along the way. I know Miss Swinson can do better than this. I'm being generous with a three star review.
Wow this book was a good page turner.I can't believe the shit Charlene pulled on Kevin and his boys. But then for Trice to be going thru what she was cray. Then I felt bad for Trice family.I couldn't stand Trice cousin Craig and his wife Nadine I wanted to jump thru the book lol.Well that ending didn't seat well with me wat Mike-Mike and Kenny did because of wat Kevin told them to do.Troy I came believe he is doing wat he is.Book 4 is going to be super cray
3 1/2 Stars This was a good book! Trice has always been my favorite in this series but, Towards the end of the book I started feeling sorry for Charlene. The twist at the end shock me. Can't wait to read part 4.
I felt sorry for Charlene at the end of this book. No woman deserves to be raped, no matter how foul she is. I especially felt sorry for Lil Leon. I can't wait to read the next book to see what happens with Lil Leon and Trice.
