One of the most interesting of the Lost Generation artists. Her relationship with Man Ray overshadowed her own work for too long. For my money, she was a better photographer. This is a good introduction to the artist and the art.

More photos than text but a nice tight outline of her life as a photographer. Focused less on her time with Man Ray than some. Lots of her excellent war photos.

Quality overview of Lee Miller’s life and artistic journey. I hope to read her son’s bio for more details.

A remarkable book of text and photos by and about Lee Miller, of whom I had never heard until last week. Talented, beautiful, and compassionate, she was a person of great accomplishments.
