One of the absolute BEST series I've ever read! I freaking LOVE Dimitri and Columbia and I love Jaden for giving them to me!

Book 1 The Beast
This book is dark, and has trigger warnings.
That being said, I loved it! Dimitri is gorgeous, powerful and brutal. Columbia is trying to survive life and keep her sister out of trouble. Their lives cross when Columbia volunteers to do something in order to impress a guy. They recognize something in each other, develop a connection that's far from a beautiful romance . It's a dark, twisted love that's incredibly hot in it's own right.
If you have any history of abuse, this book is not for you. While it is just a story, some of the implied story and specific scenes are violent. If a dark read is your thing, pick this book up.
Book 2 Perfectly Normal
I LOVED THIS BOOK!!
I freaking LOVED The Beast, book 1, which introduced us to Dimitri and Columbia. This is book is BETTER than the first!
After leaving Vancouver for Hong Kong, Dimitri, Columbia and the concierge get settled into a new routine. Columbia wants to seek revenge on the monster who tried to kill her love, so with the help of the concierge, she trains in hand to hand combat on a daily basis.
Dimitri and Columbia's passions for each other have only grown stronger. Their passionate, primal, brutally viscious love is all encompasssing. They don't just live together, they live FOR each other. Everything they do is for the benefit of the other. Two halves of a whole.
Their sex scenes are scorching hot. Jaden introduces some new elements into thier intimacy (I won't tell you, because that would spoil it!), as well as a few surprising twists that fill you with anxiety AND anticipation!
I'm SO looking forward to the continuation of Dimitri and Columbia's story.
*There are some very graphic elements in this book. If you are looking for rainbows and butterflies, this book is NOT for you!*
Book 3 Little Dove
It's difficult to put into words how powerul this book is. The subject content is extremely difficult to read about. Human trafficking is no joke and Jaden does and AMAZING job at not only telling a fictional story, but shedding light in a respectful way on an absolutely horrible thing that happens in our world.
Little Dove picks up where Perfectly Normal left off. Dimi, Columbia and The Concierge are living in Malta, training and planning for the day they take down Dimi's former boss and mentor. They stumble upon something much bigger when Columbia's little sister is almost taken by traffickers.
Columbia wants to take down the men behind the horrible underground world. But something goes terribly wrong, and the hunter becomes the hunted.
Dimitri stops at nothing to get her back.
This book is full of the powerful love between Dimitri and Columbia. It's also extremely difficult to read certain scenes. Some of them are very graphic, and sadly, you know that they actually happen to people around the globe.
We are introduced to new characters, ones from Dimi's past. Some are good people, some not such good people, but it brings the series full circle. There is also a bit of a cliffhanger in the epilogue and I'm DYING for her to release the next book because I can't wait to see where and how she takes it.
I highly recommend this book, this entire series, but it is NOT for the faint of heart. If you have ANY trigger issues, you should pass this up.

Freaking awesome book!! JADEN WILKES u did it again! yes it is about 2 ppl with crappy backgrounds that come together in a very crazy way..and is a pretty dark story with a hawt luv story toooo. :) luved it..go buy it and read it =)

Sighs..Luv luv luv Dimi and Columbia. this is the 2nd book in The Beast series and it was freaking awesome. I luv that we learned more about the concierge..and his name is?? nope..not going to spoil that for you..u have to read the book to find out his name and omg you will luv Chapter four!! it's HAWT!! I can't wait for the third book..I need it like right now JADEN WILKES..lol.

Holly Hell...I freaking luved this book!!!!!!!! I fell more in luv with Dimitri and Columbia and I luv how kick ass they are together!! Wow, this book totally had me from the cover! Truly it did! What’s inside is even better! Twisted, dark and scarred is a perfect description for Dimitri and Columbia. Both have had horrible things happen to them in the past and they both have learned to cope with it. One turned to killing and the other turned to mutilation of their own body.
When Columbia, a wannabe activist, breaks into Dimitri’s penthouse she didn’t expect the welcome she got. Now trapped, blindfolded and sexually tortured by this man, she tries not to give in to her dark and twisted desires. But it’s hard, she’s falling for him. Being a cutter and finding an alternative release…heaven! She knows deep down is wrong to want this from a man who tried to kill her, but deep down she’s just a dark and twisted as he.
Dimitri is now in the same boat, he’s falling for her. Never having cared about someone on this level before is scary for him but, just like he is for her, she is his new found release. She gets to him like no one ever has before and once they get on the same page, it gets even better… This book is crazy dark, but oh so HOT! I love dark reads and don’t understand how this book has received anything less than 5 stars!! If it was because it was too dark for the reader… I’ve read a lot darker and I’m also pretty sure that the author gives a warning in the description of the book on amazon. I would recommend this book to 18+ readers who like dark erotica and I’m definitely going to share with all my friends! It’s THAT good!! I cannot wait for the next book!!! I am now a Jaden Wilkes book addict! I can't get enough!

Perfectly Normal takes place in the time between the last chapter and the epilogue of The Beast. It starts with Dimitri, Columbia and... oops...I almost said his real name.. the concierge living in Hong Kong. The concierge is training Columbia on how to fight, not only to protect herself, but also how to kill. She wants to learn, not only for her own safety, but so she can be the one to kill Dimiti's ex boss, Sergei.
This book was full of passion, OMG the passion between Dimi and Columbia is off the charts HOT, hot sex, again...OMG the sex was hot(one scene in particular), suspenseful and action packed. This book had me needing a wardrobe change, more than once, and near the end
I thought I might die from all of the suspense! If I didn't fall in love fully with Dimi and Columbia in The Beast, I'm head over heals in love with them now, the concierge too. I know their brand of love is frowned upon and they are ruthless killers, but blame it on the beautifully amazing writing skills of the A-Freakin-Mazing, Jaden Wilkes!

Little Dove
WOW... What do I say about a book that left me speechless?
This book was the darkest book I've ever read, it definitely made me cringe a good number of times. Just when I thought I wouldn't be able to handle anymore she would give me a reprieve and I was good to go until the next gruesome scene. It was all very well balanced for me and that helped. It was very dark but had the light to even the playing field... somewhat...
At the same time this book was beautiful and full of love! The love that Dimitri and Columbia share is twisted, unconventional but one of the most beautiful of love stories I've ever read. Their love is an unbreakable bond as you will find out in this book. When Columbia is taken Dimi will stop at nothing to get her back. He can't function without his Little Dove and he will destroy everything and everyone in his path to get to her. The action in this book was fast paced and page turning and the sex was filthy and just the way I love it. I loved The Beast and Perfectly Normal but I have to say that Little Dove is my favorite so far. I recommend this book to anyone who loves a dark read.

Wow - Amazing, a must read for lovers of dark erotic, & twisted books with kinky sex.
The Beast is a very twisted love story about Demitri and Columbia, both dark soul mates made for each other.
Dimi & Little Dove take their love to a whole new level whilst in Hong Kong, that you will feel deep down in your soul. They learn to deal with each others demon's, fight for what they believe in and for each other.
I am not going to go into detail about the story because you need to read and take this emotional rollercoaster journey with them.
Wow, Little Dove the third book in The Beast series is outstanding. I loved the other two books a lot, however, Little Dove takes you to a whole new level.
Jaden has produced an amazing gripping read, made me sweat, scream and left me shocked with the amazing twists and turns, which I never saw coming. Jaden pushed the limits, torn me apart and slowly built me back up. Oh and of course the sex was filthy, slightly kinky and dirty just like always.
My emotions are still all over the place, I was left feeling drained but very satisfied.

In book one, Dimitri and Columbia find each other. After a rocky start they realize that they are meant for each other. Something scares Dimi and he sends her away but she comes back. This book is set in Canada.
In book two, the concierge is training Columbia because she and Dimitri have decided to go after Sergei for what he did to Dimitri. Some men break into the house and try to kill Dimitri. But they fight back.
In book three, Columbia's sister, Eden, comes to visit. They feel safer because Sergei is gone. Some creeps try to kidnap Eden in Rome. Columbia decides that she wants to take human traffickers down. Will she convince Dimi? This is the hardest book to read.
I liked this story but I got tired of how much Dimi and Columbia had to talk about their love to each other. Sometimes it seemed like page after page of it!

2.0 RATING- This was just not for me. I blame reading 1/3 of this book (the first novella included in this three novella boxed set) on being in a massive book funk, the book being available to borrow for free, and a vague mention of it on a book thread I follow. I've read a handful of very well written dark reads but I don't think The Beast series is in the same category. For me to enjoy a dark read, it must be quality written, with well developed characters that pull you into the story. The story must be gripping. I love guilty pleasures and I guess The Beast qualifies as one, but it just didn't work for me. I should have never picked this one up.

This series is #1 on my 2014 list of books I have read! To read The Beast, Perfectly Normal and then Little Dove all boxed together was awesome. I read this Series and it Pulled every emotion known to man kind! What a great Box Set!!! Read it, Loved it, Will never forget it!!! Thank You Jaden Wilkes for writing an awesome Series!!!

At first I really didn't think I would like this series. But as I read on it became more steamy with a touch of taboo mixed with a hot super rich gangster bad boy and you end up reading late into the night.
I look forward to book 4. Can't leaving me hanging with the twist that this author left me with.

This is the most insanely awesome series I've ever read. It's action packed and intense and brutal and sweet. Jaden Wilkes is an incredibly talented writer and if you haven't read anything by he her yet DO IT! She's brilliant!

I have read all three of these books and I have to say they are simply amazing! Some of the best darker erotica I have ever read, especially Little Dove. If you like a dark edge to your erotica, then you have to read this series. You'll never find a better deal than this box set.

The Beast was my first dark read and boy did it hook me! Nobody writes a book like Jaden does, this series is so good and I couldnt get enough of Dimitri and Columbia! Such an amazing author and she definitely has a way with words!

LOVED THIS - dark story, but not in a very dark/gritty fashion!
Yes, it's a "captive" story, but Columbia hasn't been kidnapped - she put herself in the situation. Dimitri is a sexy anti-hero, and together they are fantastic!

What an intense and amazing love story. Not your typical romance but a great one none-the-less. Grab this series and be ready to be mesmerized by the twisted, incredible mind of Jaden Wilkes. :)

These books were dark, passionate, cruel but a story that sows the reality of human trafficking. I enjoyed each book and hope book 3 isn't the end. Awaiting book 4.

Okay this one is hard to review...
I really enjoyed the first book.. It had the suspense, darkness, sex and all the grittiness you expect from a "dark" romance. I will say that it gets a little weird in the middle when she leaves and comes back, its like BAM we are at the end all of a sudden... which of course I won't ruin for you.
So you are at the end of book one, at the conclusion you expect, and when you get to book two, you are back in time at when the two H/H leave the country.
My question is why would I want to go back when I already know how it ends? Although I did start reading book 2 and read about 5 chapters, I couldn't do it. It was all about more sex. Which fine I get it. They love each other, but what was the point, I am sure it is in there, but I didn't have the patience to find out what it was.. REMEMBER THE ENDING WAS ALREADY WROTE IN BOOK 1
So I skipped to Book 3. I hate doing that. So of course I am a little confused. But I handle it. I get on with reading it. I find out I am no farther in the killing of Sergei then I was in Book 2. And they are still trying to find him. So I again skip ahead. And now we are dealing with the kidnapping of the sister in law and human trafficking. I couldn't deal.
So at the end, I gave up. Hoping with in myself that the first book was enough, because I was not going back. There was only so many orgasms that man could give before I was just skipping whole chapters anyway.

This is the absolute best dark romance series dealing with sexual self-examination that I've ever read. Both of the main characters, Dimitri and Columbia, are transformed and are transformational because of the way they express and accept their flaws, their fragility, and their love. Even though the codependency is liberating and crippling at the same time, isn't that what true love is? Love gives us the courage to fly even though we fear we'll shatter to pieces if it's ever snatched from us; which does happen to those who grieve the loss of their one true love, right? They find incredible strength together to face the dark parts of their lives in very unconventional ways.
I applaud the author's courage, creativity, skill, insight, and sensitivity. Addressing incest, sexual assault, and human trafficking within a romance novel is tricky, but this was done extremely well. I actually texted a friend who experienced some of Columbia's issues because perhaps this fictional character's way of growing to see beauty and strength from a history of scars could be powerful and relevant enough for real-life survivors to be the perspective that unlocks a little more healing. Dimi saw strength and beauty that made the love stronger. Columbia was constantly engaged in a therapeutic exploration of what love should look like. This was simply an amazing series on many, many levels.

3, 2, 4 Box sets so hard to rate
Box sets are so hard rate so, in the end, I decided to rate them separately and average them.
The Beast
Decent story line and an average amount of action. Enjoyed it for the most part but wasn't really wowed.
Perfectly Normal
My advice is to skip the first seven chapters of this one as they offer no real value. Honestly I almost DNF'ed the whole thing because of them but was feeling like a quitter so I persevered. Check 1-7 are repetitive sex scenes and listening to the two MCs wax poetic about their love for each other using unbelievable dialogue. It's ridiculous. Skip to Ch 8, then it gets good.

Wow Talk About Dark...Very Dark and Disturbing Romance
This was a very very dark and Disturbing romance series. Dimi and Col are definitely the most unique h/H characters I've read in like forever. There was loads of action and adventure. The romance scenes were hot, dark, and depending on your preference, some would find to be way out there and disturbing. Col had quite the childhood growing up but that did shape her character. Nico...he's a mystery still. But such a likeable man. The ending was a surprise. I wonder if there's a forth installment to this? Would like to see how it all ends.

I'm being pretty generous giving it three stars.
I completed 2 out of 3 of the books in this box set.
Book One- Moves really fast. I like the story well enough, but it wasn't dark enough or realistic enough and it just sort of was "meh" to me. I would say it's 2/5 for me.
Book Two- MUCH BETTER than the first. I enjoyed the second book, but I felt like it had an acceptable resolution and just didn't like it enough to move on to the third. I wasn't super invested. I would say it was 3.5/5 for me.

Wow.... Just amazing! This book has it all if you enjoy dark reads. Love, sex, kink and murder just to name a few! You will cheer for Dimi and Columbia at times; cry with them both. I don't want their story to end.

What did I just read!?!?!?!?! I think that my mouth was agape most of the book and every time I turned the page I was even more shocked! This is a crazy ride! Columbia and Dimi are two characters that you WILL NOT FORGET!

okay... I'm not going to give this a bad review. it wasn't bad, it was just too much for me. I kept trying to force myself to read more and more and as the percentage increased. I realized this book was going nowhere for me and I was only 20 percent in. however, I give it to the writer. it was written well and it was hot as hell. just not for me.

It took me a while to finish this series but I loved it and I hated it. I stopped when I was frustrated or things were going too good but I always came back and I'm even more intrigued than I originally was when I read the ending!! I'm waiting for more

Wow this book will take you on a deep dark erotic read that will keep you reading through the night. The story of Columbia and Dimitri will take you on a journey through the dark side of people trafficking which will keep your stomach clenching until the very last page. Bravo five star read for content and characters.

Where do I begin? An unpredictable and breathtaking roller-coaster ride that is Dimitri and Columbia's story. This series left me wanting more. Jaden nailed it like she normally does. A dark read full of hot, steamy "romance" ;) and the ending. I wasn't ready for it to be over. can't wait for more.

Wow!
I loved this series! It has everything I love: it's dark, it's raw, hot-steamy sex, bad ass heroine and an alpha male who turns soft for his lady love. There has got to be more from these characters! I will look for more from this author and hopefully more of this series!
