Nahmari (na•mar•ee) better known as Zinc is a force to be reckoned with. He’s also a man who loves to burn rubber, but his race might be a risky one… life or death even. He’s not labeled as a rowdy rider for nothing. While people know him for always being the life of the party, there’s some things he doesn’t let slide.
Onyx Marcel is that girl! A trust fund baby and a spoiled one at that. She has everything she ever wanted, including the man she set eyes on after moving to Eastlake. She keeps it real and stands on business behind everything her. She knows her worth and hopes everyone else does, too.
Both are blunt and big on being on the same page. However, somebody flipped a page when the other wasn’t looking and now, they’re trying to figure out how life went from dreamy to chaotic.
To be honest this was super disappointing, I really and truly liked Onyx in book one and was hoping her and Zinc were a good time but they were not. She was a bird and it’s made clear in this story how her and kosha are close two birds of a feather just dumb, immature and lacking sense. Shes this super rich boss chick but she’s stripping cus she loves dance so much 😒😒😒. Was mad sneaky about it and then felt entitled to Zinc’s time so she could explain. Zinc is wrong for making her his mom but she’s a dummy. Like you can’t open a studio, take classes buy a pole for your home nothing and for someone who loves to dance are there no other styles but pole available? Then if ya character is 35 best friends with a 40 year old who won’t stop getting pregnant and having RAW SEX why the confusion lmaoo like plssss
I’m so torn about this one because I feel like Zinc was truly acting like a little boy. And I get he was young but he was out here publicly embarrassing Onyx and calling her a hoe like it was cool. Also she just fell so easy for his comeback. He didn’t even have to really work for it, he drop some di*k and it was over. Idk public disrespect like that needs more something better. 🤦🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️
BABY. ZINC had me clutching my pearls one minute and ready to throw them across the room the next. This wasn’t no light read this was a ruthless, blood soaked, loyalty breaking rollercoaster. And I loved every page of it.
Zinc? Whewwww, he stressed me out. The tension was thick, and the violence. GRAPHIC just how I like it. Onyz has her hands filled with this one.
Ma'am, yes you, this series right here is where it's at. I'm heavily invested in it and am hoping there is more to come. I love the fact that you integrated KoKo and Chrome in this installment. It makes the series seem more realistic. Zinc and Onyx had their roadblocks, but they were able to get back on track. Onyx did something that a lot of women do, and that is to sacrifice her body and health to bring a baby in the world. She created a family with Zinc that he will always cherish. I am anticipating and wishing that there is more to come. I am on the ride with the BMG gang.
Ladies and gents pull on up and take a seat because this series is on fire. It comes highly recommended by me. Grab your copy today, whether by download or purchase. You will enjoy reading about the BMG motorcycle club.
Onyx and Zinc were a vibe. Onyx simply wanted to fulfill others’ fantasies by doing what she enjoyed, unbeknownst to her the effects it would have on her relationship due to Zinc’s childhood. Unhealed childhood trauma almost caused Zinc to lose his heartbeat. This YN was a stubborn man, talk about in his feelings and then was sick to his stomach when Onyx turned them tables.. NO.. let’s not talk now LOL.
This was a short, wild ass ride and I was here for the chaos. Zinc is absolutely insane… like, maybe even worse than Chrome level crazy and I ate it up. Onyx? Better than me. Ain’t no way I’m sleeping outside just cause you told me once that you ain’t messin with me no more. IDC how deep the love run, respect gotta stay intact.
Honestly, all this drama could’ve been avoided if Zinc just opened up about his family, especially his momma. Like be serious. Onyx wouldn’t have taken that damn job if she knew. And her being sneaky about it made everything messier.
BUT when she called that man’s momma a hoe??? I cried. One, she way too grown for that comeback, and two, the fact Zinc mentally agreed before yelling it back?? No way. I had to put the book down.
Quick read, lots of drama, plenty of laughs. Wish it was longer, though. I need more of the madness!
When I read Chrome I was so obsessed with Onyx! She was a huge part of the reason I enjoyed it so much so I was so excited for Zinc but unfortunately I have to admit that I was disappointed.
For one with as much money as Onyx has why not just just but a studio.....yes I know she said the permits etc would take forever but why risk the relationship over something like that, I just feel like the lies and secrets just wasn't necessary, especially for her to be a mature 35 yr old in every other area in her life....well for the most part.
Now for me??? Zinc did WAY too much because I promise you if it were me it would have taken a lot more than curling up in my bed and apologizing after his behavior my locks, codes everything would have been changed. He wasn't just mean to her, he was cruel.... unnecessarily so....seek therapy.
This was a good read but I do feel like there was missing parts to their story, or like the novella could’ve been longer to give us their full story.
Outside of that it was a good read about Zinc & Onyx both being crash outs but in two totally different age groups; which played a huge part in their relationship woes. Onyx is that girl who doesn’t need a YN and can do for herself, but Zinc is her muse and she absolutely needs him! Zinc is that YN who has lil boy unhealed trauma that he thought he was over until Onyx’s big secret has his past colliding and disrupting his future.
Communication or lack there of was the biggest factor to their breakup and the ultimate factor to their biggest come back! I love that they were able to reconnect cause of course who doesn’t love a happy ending 😌
I thought I was here to read more about Chrome and Fade, and it turns out I was here for Zinc. Zinc is a beautifully complicated YN. At the young age of 25, he is dating a 35 year old woman. Mind you, Onyx, act like she is a 25 year old YN herself. There story started off smooth without any hiccups until she kept a secret from him and her best friend. A secret that she knew she shouldn't have held on to from him. I think he was well within his right to act the way he did after finding out. Fade tried to be the gentle friend when she should have ripped her a new one. However, I did like how Onyx tried to own up to her mess up. The timing was wrong. Get into this book. I think you all will like it. Happy 📚 reading.
Zinc has been on his own he was young. If it wasn't for Neon and Steel, he would have still been out there. His mama is a stripper and he didn't know his know father. That's one of the reasons he should see a therapist, so he wouldn't be projecting he feelings on Oxyn. Yeah Oxyn was wrong for not telling Zinc. The crew was wrong for egging her car. Zinc is a little unhinged. It was no coincidence that they ended up at the same hospital. Oxyn tried own up to the dancing, but Zinc wasn't trying to hear it. Chrome made him realize that he was better than his father. He went over to Oxyn and explained. They have a beautiful baby girl.
I knew was that crash out YN just like Chrome lol! He didn’t play bout his Onyx. I hated how he spazzed off emotions that she had no small hint of knowing about. He almost ruined it ALL with his nasty attitude! Now Onyx wasn’t just completely innocent but I can understand! She was being free doing something she loved but why that route is still a little iffy. Now I love how their friends still stood with them while also bringing forward where they were both wrong! It was a great ride!
This book went crazy even though you only get 91 pages and it's a quick story it's eight chapters it gave you everything in those eight chapters and homegirl knew she was wrong and knew zinc was going to be mad like who wants to find something like that out in front of everybody I'm just kind of upset that after she kept trying to apologize kept trying to apologize in the end he still has to apologize like can we have the women please own up today s*** until an apology is accepted
1 star for the character. Not the author. Zinc was way too disrespectful for him to be able to just show up to her house and it's all good. Yeah Onyx kept something big from him but he seriously treated her like dirt under his shoes. He needed to beg, plead and grovel before she even let him breathe the same air as her. She deserved better even with the lie she told. I usually love a HEA but honestly I would've been happier with them going their separate ways. Especially since he was 10 years younger than her and seriously immature.
This a great read Southern era is where Zinc and Onyx met are a couple who met at the same time as chrome and koco . Both are best friends to these two and a married couple. Some seasoned older women can change a younger man’s life for the better start their families chosen peace without chaos Not as a sugar mama but their equal.. I’m happy for both couples and how life changed for the men in their 20’ to fall in love with women in their 30’s ..love is love .
There’s no way Onyx was 35 years old. She was childish, lacked accountability, and acted like she had no common sense. She was wrong and was coming up with everything excuse in the book and they weren’t even good excuses. Then had the nerve to act like the victim. The audacity lol. I’m sorry, but I couldn’t get past her and all I could do was laugh at the stupidity lol Zinc’s reaction was very justified and he should’ve stood on it in my opinion.
I'm going to need more BMG I need to see if the twins find there loves .
I left how it being started where they left off ... I really enjoyed ...
How everybody sticks together
I do feel like she should have told Zinc I kinda figured that was how he was going to find Out Onxy secret hiding I'm glad they were able to figure it out no body mess with no one else that was even better...
Onyx was very immature and I just couldn’t get with her excuse for being a stripper because it was still disrespectful when she was in a relationship. I didn’t like how she flipped the script and played the victim when she was the one in the wrong and acting like a spoiled brat. Zinc should’ve made her sweat a little bit more but he did what he needed to do to bring their family unit back together.
I gave only four stars because it was a short read. I love these two chemistry was fire but it was a fast to quick instanta love story. I think it deserves a longer version or with chromes story and zincs it could have been one book or even a novel. Other than dissatisfied it’s a short story it’s a gripping book that catches your attention and keep you wanting more. Love the BMG series. Will try out her other books! It’s a must read for sure!
I knew something was going to happen between the two lovebirds. Onxy almost lost her man. She knew better than stripping. Talking about a dance studio. They were made for each other though. Glad she ended up pregnant and Chrome talked some sense into Zinc before he lost out. Ready for the next book. Litty or Lead gotta be next.
Zinc had me mad as hell, but I get where he was coming from… kinda. Onyx was not the one to play with. She wasn’t taking that cold shoulder nonsense and stayed on Zinc neck the whole time. Bold, confident, and full of fire—Onyx ate and left no crumbs. Team Onyx all day! This little novella had me in my feelings and talking to the pages.
Babyyyy I love an FMC who on her stuff and that is definitely Onyx she was afraid to love her man. She knew she was wrong and she wasn’t giving up on him at all. Zinc was really a wild YN he let a moment of hurt almost cause him his heart but he came to his senses! This story was everything
I enjoyed this book from the beginning until the end. But Onyx was wrong from the start. Yeah she love dancing but she should have known her man was not going for it. Zinc crazy @$$ did not want nobody seeing his woman. Yeah Zinc was being petty too but I’m glad they were able to work things out. Now I just wanna know who egged her car 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This was a really good read. I liked Zinc but he hurt my feelings just as much as he hurt Onyx's when he wouldn't let her explain. I understand his reasoning against strippers but Onyx wasn't your typical stripper and she wasn't his mama. I'm glad Chrome talked some since into him and he righted his wrongs with Onyx. 💟💟
Quick story about young Zinc and older Onyx, who we met in Chrome. I thought Chrome was unhinged in his story, but Zinc has him beat. Both of these characters had secrets that could have been handled with simple communication. Zinc was the definition of a crash out. Onyx knew she could have danced anywhere but a strip club. Together they were chaotic. The story is only 91 pages but I liked it.
I wasn't into this one as much as I was his friend. It could have been the length of the book where I wanted more from the author, or it could have been the storyline. I understood the FMC but she her reasoning for the dancing club, but she should have immediately understood her man. He was not going for that, BUT his personality was off-putting to me.
I wanted to knock Zinc stubborn ass head in a few times! But I loved this story. Sometimes you just need to keep it a buck no matter how you think someone gon take it. Onyx knew what it would be. I'm glad it worked out in the end even though I wanted her to say eff him for real.
Zinc was too many things, and so was Onxy. They fit like a glove. Zinc lost it, though, when he discovered Onxy's secret. She should have told him, but she didn't.
Anyway, after Chrome got on him about the way he was moving, Zinc decided to make it right.
I like the short and to the point but I love they way Zinc and Onyx loved each other. It was no mess or fuss because they were coming hard for each other. Zinc definitely is a crashout but in the best way possible. Onyx just was Onyx but they are alike to a certain extent so they just worked. Glad they got over their little spat though. Great read!!
Zinc’s story was ok. Started in the mist of his relationship with Onyx, so there wasn’t much backstory. They seem to being going well until they hit a bump in the road. Seemed pretty cut and dried, with everyone speaking the same with the same inflection on how they talk, etc,.
What do you do when your YN is a certified crash-out and you’ve been keeping secrets from him? Yeah… it’s only a matter of time before things explode. And when Zinc finds out what’s been going on behind his back? He drops her like a hot plate. You might think he’s doing the most, but when you peel back the layers, his childhood trauma is written all over that reaction.
Still, when another secret comes to light, it might just be the thing that shifts everything. Maybe just maybe they can move toward something more solid.
At only 91 pages, I can’t give too much away, but trust me: it’s short, it’s intense, and you’ll be flipping through it fast. Just read it and see for yourself what the BMG chaos is all about.
