When Juliet was rescued by Broc they found another girl being held. When Manace kicked in the door he found Sawyer after getting her home to their territory Menace new this woman was his fated mate but she was keeping a secret. Who she is! After he finds out who she is and what she is running from trouble happens she is betrayed but a woman she is working for and is returned to her abusive father and brother to be used in their evil political game but Manace isn’t letting her go and he will fight to the death to get her back. So enjoy the read and see how far they have to go to find peace!!

Better than book 1.
Juliet in the first book and Savanna in this book had the same ugly back stories- horrible fathers (Juliet's was her mother) and nasty childhoods. The thing that got me in the firbook was the flowery adjectives that went on ad nauseam throughout. This book was much better. I just wish the author had mentioned Karen Day's comeuppance. That woman deserved a horrible ending. Menace became a chameleon in his personality. On to the next book.

Enjoyable damsel in distress in a shifter universe. Heroine is a strong female survivor of abuse who is trying to make a new life for herself but needs help from others in doing so. Strong male leads with emotional softness discovered. This is a fated mate romance with very vile and evil opponents to offset the sweet romance. Includes mob type scenarios and strong violence.

Very good book. Even better than the first one in the series! Five stars on Kindle. Definitely an adult story. Very interesting and entertaining. These are some of the very best shifter books I've read and that's a very large number. Excellent reads! Looking forward to the next book in the series!

A Story Worth Reading!
Love Menace and Sawyer’s story, such a well written story with a wonderful storyline, I am so glad after all the trouble they went through, they got their happy ever after! I love this series!

Second in hopefully a series this was a story with a few twists, a little heat and a great ending. Take a chance you won't regret it!
