Picking up immediately where book one of the Exit Vertigo series left off, the sequel follows Connor Bryson and the remaining members of the Wayward Ark maintenance team as they desperately search for clues about an event that some would rather keep hidden from memory.
Another gripping, wholly absorbing chapter of the bestselling Wayward Pines series, Jordan Crouch’s Exit Vertigo explores the dangerous netherworld existence of caretakers who emerge from stasis every two decades to ensure the facility that houses all that remains of mankind continues to function. While others hibernate, Connor and a select team of maintenance workers stumble through the Ark’s darkened hallways, racing against time in search for a clue to an apocalypse no one can remember.
This is book two in Jordan Crouch’s Wayward Pines series—stay tuned for the conclusion!
What is going on here? Really need a third installment to close the loop on this novella. I liked the pace of the story and really want to find out the author's take on what is really going on beneath the surface.
So I bought the 2 book series after reading Eerie. I thought I wanted to give Jordan's writing on his own a chance. He's actually not a bad writer and this story plot had so much potential but it's like he got tired of writing after 30 minutes and just stopped. Didn't bother to put a proper finish on the book, oh I mean novella. It would have been best for Blake to pick this story up again or if not to just leave it alone and not ruin it.
Stunning. Loved the ending that just leaves you wanting more a super edition to the Wayward Pines universe would love a book 3 but now that Amazon have stopped the Kindle Worlds books its unlikely we will get it but I'm cool with ending such a mystery great little read if your a fan it's a must read.
I am a big fan of the Wayward Pines series as well as a fan of Jordan Crouch but I am not sure as yet about this take to the Wayward Pines universe. I kind of like the short story serial Jordan is using to tell this story but I hope we get some clarity soon as to where this is going. Since I really like the Wayward Pines universe, I will stick with this series until Jordan Crouch finishes this series.
If you liked the Wayward. Pine trilogy, then this is right up your alley! Good drama. The only problem is that just as you get hooked, it ends! Sense the category, Novella. Saying anything about the story give away the premise of the Wayward Pine story. But the characters are good. You want to know that happens to them.
I chose that rating because I really enjoyed reading that Novella. It was very interesting and informative and had many twists and turns. I was constantly surprised by what was happening. I hope Part 3 is as good as Part 2. I know I will enjoy the next Novella.
The second novela in this series doesn't disappoint either. I was very satisfied by how quickly the story immerses the reader into a complex horror/sci fi environment with me eagerly reading each page to see how the story will unfold.
