Dive into You the Sweet and Clean Version by Chris Keniston
So love Emily and Doug and their story! Every book in this series is great. . In Dive into You Emily, Billy's sister Emily decides that it is time to really live life and that means among other things having her first one night stand. What she intends as her first one night stand turns into so much more but the guy turns out to be a friend and new employer of the dive shop. It is hilarious when Doug realizes that Emily is his buddy and bosses sister and when Emily realizes that Doug works for her over protective big brother. The humor carries through the book without being overdone. Of course the ladies of the Aloha series are in the know. I love the sisterhood that develops between those women!
I had the original version but bought this one too because, while her other books are not too detailed, I prefer for sex to stay behind closed doors. Since a one night stand was the beginning of their relationship, this version is distinctly different from the original.

Chris Keniston is such an incredible writer of both amazingly sweet books as well as hot and steamy treats. This sweet version of Dive Into You was every bit as wonderful as any of her steamier books, with flawed and real characters you quickly grow to love and adore.
Emily Everett is at a friends wedding when she sees an incredibly tall and handsome man she finds herself eyeing throughout the night. When he comes to her rescue she decides to take life by the horns and ditches her family and friends with the guy she hopes to spend one night with. The next morning they hesitantly part ways forever... or is it? Emily has been sheltered and protected by her watchdog brother her entire life and she loves him for it, but it isn't long before she realizes just how much his overprotective nature has hampered her love life. But when her one night stand shows up at the Big Dive Shop her brother owns Emily quickly realizes her error and must now reevaluate what she wants in life and how she will get it.

This is book 4 in the Aloha series by Chris Keniston. When I picked this series up, I was looking for brain candy. It’s the end of the school year and I need pure entertainment. That’s it, no stress, no drama, no deep thinking. I got what I was looking for and a bit more. There’s no heavy drama, no intense intrigue. There is lots of fun, feel-good vibes, and a teeny bit of drama toward the end.
Billy Everett’s matchmaking momma is at it again. This time she’s partnered with her best friend, Mrs. Alani, to match Sara Alani with one of the Navy buddies who've come in for Lexie and Jim’s wedding. There are any number to choose from, but Momma Everett has her sights set on Doug Hamilton. Doug was with Billy on that fateful mission that cost Billy his leg and Doug an eye. Both are out of the Navy now, Doug hasn’t found anywhere to settle and until he does he figures working for Billy at the dive shop is as good a place as any. Emily, Billy’s youngest sister, is tired of playing the good daughter role and is ready to live a little. She’s at a place in life where she figures it’s now or never. That’s when she spies Doug….
This is a feel-good story with plenty of laughs that’s a good addition to the Aloha series. There’s no tense situation that pops up from the past and no mystery to be solved. There are two people at turning points in their lives trying to figure out which way to go. Dive Into You is a sweet story that’s easy to read and you get to learn a little more about those wonderful characters who call Kona home.

Dive Into You: Sweet Aloha Series Book 4 is by Chris Keniston. This series is a great escape into fantasy that is clean and sweet. This book is about Doug and Emily. Being the baby of the Everett family, Emily had not rebelled against her brother’s restrictions too much. She knew he was just looking out for her; but she didn’t like his making her feel about ten years old. At this wedding, she was determined to have fun. After all, she was unmarried, had a great job, and had her advanced degree. It was time to have some fun and she saw just the guy to have it with.
Doug had come to Kona to work for his friend, Billy as a diving instructor. He didn’t know how long he would stay; but he enjoyed being around his group of friends once again. He was staying away from Billy’s Mother though as she had matchmaking on her mind. He was interested in a dark haired beauty he saw across the room.
Once they met, the two left the reception and ended up at her apartment. Emily was thrilled at being a “bad girl”, but this morning, she was back to her old self or was she? When she found out that Doug was her brother’s friend and employee, she knew she had to let him go. But was she ready?

Great book. I love this series. The reader gets to follow a team of former EOD specialists as they adjust to civilian life & find their significant others. Doug & Emily see each other at a wedding & have one great night. The next day Doug finds out she is his friend Billy's sister & she finds out he's a former teammate & now co-worker of Billy's. What can go wrong now?
Ms. Keniston does a good job of giving her readers a believable plot & story with great characters. The sense of family present in the military comes through well here. Billy is a typical over protective brother that thinks no one is good enough for his sister. The lengths Emily & Doug to make sure Billy doesn't find out about them are funny. Great interactions between the characters!

Another hit by Chris! I loved this book, I had a lot of fun reading it and had lots of chuckles. I really recommend you read Emily & Doug's story.
When you have a big brother who is overly protective, you need to find ways to keep him in the dark about certain things in your life, like a new man. The way Chris has the secrets come out kept me riveted to my seat.
I love reading series, and this book keeps the characters from the first 3 books alive and well. It's fantastic to see how everyone's lives grow in each book. And wonderful to know the next book will have more of my favourite people in it! I never want the Aloha series to end. A must read!

Great series
Just right amount of humor, drama,situations and sex. This book brings together military with the roster system. Children think they are bad and that's why parents left them. Perhaps we can learn lessons I hope we never have to practice.

Lovely clean story
I really appreciate the author taking the time to make asweet and clean version. I don't think I am alone in saying the story doesn't lose anything for lack of curses and sex. I also enjoyed the story and that the characters feel like they are real people.

Another Entertaining Read
Chris Keniston writes series with so-likable characters that it is very difficult to avoid the feel-good that comes with the best CR. The Aloha series carries on the fun of the terrific Farraday Country series. On to #5.

I'm loving this series, where a bunch of guys who served in the navy together are ending up in Hawaii and all the interactions between them, their friends and families. It's one Big Ohana.

I love this whole Aloha series, and this is another great story that leaves me still wanting even more. We met Doug in previous stories, and I found myself surprised by him in this one - in a good way. I love it when the guys who can't commit find the right woman and then struggle with what they really want... Emily's character is great, too, with her zest for life and wanting to step out of her comfort zone. Love the way the anticipation builds over the course of the story, and there are some surprising twists and turns along the way. Heat, humor, human interest... the story has it all, with some great new supporting characters as well as those we already love from the other books in the series. I recommend this one, along with the others in the series. (If you haven't read them, you'll enjoy this one more if you start at the beginning :-) ) Gotta love those hunky Navy SEALS as the heroes they are!

I love this series and every book in it that I have read so far. The characters are strong but realistic. In Dive into You Emily, Billy's sister decides that it is time to really live life. She has spend her life being the good daughter focusing on her education and teaching. Now she has found something new to focus on. What she intends as her first one night stand turns into so much more but the guy turns out to be a friend and new employer of the dive shop. Billy will not be pleased to find out that Doug has slept with his sister; as a matter of fact, Doug is floored when he discovers who she is. The magic woman magnet isn't ready for a committed relationship and he would never sleep with one of his buddies' sisters, never! Well, never again. Emily has a real battle getting this guy to admit that he cares and getting him back in her bed. So fun!

But telling Billy that he's crossed over the code of friendship isn't one of his best ideas. The book takes you through the dive shop, a schools play and two teenagers to help him realize that just because Doug is a former foster child it's strengthen his character and understand that Emily is his life as well as true love.

Fifth book in the series and every time I finish one book I want the next one now. Doug Hamilton left the Navy two years ago and he is quite the playboy but now watching his friends fall in love he feels like he is missing something . Emily Everett a school teacher is at the same party as Doug and she feels drawn to him but she has two very protective brothers there also. Will they get together? Can Doug see past what happened to him early in life to realize he is worthy of love?The story also covers Billy Emily’s brother and his fiancée Angela, Nick her other brother and his wife Kara and two teenagers Jim and Lexie and we find out Doug has a sister Amy Pratt who was separated from him when they where children. I loved this book! The characters seem so real, like I could be friends with them!
Who hasn't just wanted to pick up a very handsome man at a wedding?! Sometimes we all need just a little excitement in our lives! Some might find it in sky diving or just being around some one who loves it.
