Dafür, dass dieses Genre nicht mein bevorzugtes ist, hat mir das Buch noch recht gut gefallen. Es hat sich schnell und flüssig lesen lassen, auch wenn ich die Geschichte stellenweise doch etwas unglaubwürdig fand bzw. die Charaktere nicht sehr authentisch auf mich wirkten.
Der beliebte und begehrte Rockstar, der nichts anbrennen lässt, und das jungfräuliche Mauerblümchen...
Und nach ihrem ersten Treffen geht sie ihm nicht mehr aus dem Kopf, er sucht sie, macht seine Bandkollegen wahnsinnig, und dann erkennt er sie nicht mehr, als sie sich wieder treffen...Gut, ein bisschen Schminke und Klamotten können einen Menschen schon verändern, aber ich habe dennoch Probleme mit dieser Vorstellung.
Davon abgesehen war die Geschichte aber okay, sie hat mich unterhalten.

Mayhem is definitely one of those books I call guilty pleasures.I wanted something light and simple,because after the last book I read I was emotionally drained and in no condition to dive in a lifesucking reading experience.And Mayhem was exactly what I needed!A fluffy,funny,sweet,sexy story with great characters (every single band member was perfect,especially Mike and Shawn),strong friendships (I love you Dee!),scorching romance and a swoonworthy man-slut.Rowan and Adam were adorable together,I enjoyed so much the tension and the banters and flirtation!Rowan was easily relatable and no,she was not one of the female characters you want to stangle,while Adam,hot as sin of course,is every girl's fantasy!He made me giggle and blush and wish for someone like him!I laughed so hard while reading it,there was no drama,just pure entertainment!
Would I recommend it to NA romance fans?

Mein letztes Statusupdate zu diesem Buch war ja quasi eine selbsterfüllende Prophezeiung. Natürlich musste ich das Buch jetzt noch beenden. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Leute, das Buch war von der ersten bis zur letzten Seite der absolute Knüller! Ich glaube das Buch ist an die Spitze meiner liebsten New-Adult-Romane gerückt, noch vor J.Lynn und Kylie Scott. Der Schreibstil und der Humor (Dee! 🙏🏻) waren göttlich. Ich mochte alle Protagonisten durch die Bank weg, sowohl sexyschmexy Adam (😍) als auch die knuffige Rowan. Ich bin selten so schnell durch ein Buch geflogen und es hatte einfach durchgängig eine tolle Atmosphäre und Stimmung zwischen den Charakteren. Auch die Sache mit Rowans Ex Brady fand ich super gelungen und hat somit auch am Anfang schon für eine gewissen emotionale Tiefe gesorgt. Außerdem konnte ich zwischen Adam und Rowan eine wirkliche Verbindung spüren und das trotz dem leichten Insta-Love-Touch, der mich hier ausnahmsweise mal nicht gestört hat. Zum Glück waren auch die sexy Szenen absolut geschmackvoll erzählt und haben es somit zum Glück nicht verdorben 🙏🏻 ich glaube ich "muss" jetzt direkt mit Band zwei weitermachen, allein weil Dee ne Wucht ist 👌🏻😅

This book is amazing!

I want to say 'WOW' a hundred times. Reading this one brought a smile to my face!

My first book by Jamie Shaw was more than I had expected. It was surprisingly good and entertaining. I was completely hooked before I would even finish the first page, which I can tell this rarely happens to me!

I loved that there was nothing dark about this one--no unnecessary/unreasonable drama, no tortured hero/heroine, and no abusive parents. (Thank God!) I also really loved how delightful the characters were. Bad boy rock star met a simple plain girl, seemed like a little bit cheesy plot, but who cares!? I was just happy to relish this very lovely, sweet romance!
Be careful, you can easily fall for this bad boy!





After I had taken a sneak peek at book 2, the story of Joel and Dee, I think I'll need to pick it up real soon!!!

Was für eine tolle Überraschung!
Natürlich gibt es das ein oder andere Klischee, was bei dieser Rockstar-Thematik ja klar ist. Aber die Story ist einfach super süß, toll geschrieben und ich liebe die Charaktere.

Oh my Gosh!!! He is totally a drop dead gorgeous man!!!!
I think i'm in love....


Rowan went to a concert in Mayhem club with her friend Dee to see a rock band performing... There she discovered her boyfriend for three years with another girl and her world shattered in pieces... From a twist of luck she met Adam Everest, the lead singer of the band and they are making out... until it's show time. Adam leaves with the promise that they'll meet each other after the show, but she never made her appearance on backstage....

Rowan's life change from that day. She breaks up with her boyfriend and she's moving in with her best friend, Dee... The lessons in the college starts and guess what??? Adam freakin' Everest is in the same class with her, but he's not recognised her... As the time passes, she's trying to stay away from him until one day she's offering to him lessons for passing the lesson... and to manage to study together he's taking her with him on a three day tour...


There she meets and the other guys and she's starting to learn more about their lives and about Adam's character... Every day, she fell deeper for him, but she kept refussing to reveal her true identity, from her fear that Adam will play with her like he does with all the other girls and then he will tear her heart apart...
Adam is trying many time to get in her pants but she refuses to give in... even though she knows that he never forgot Peach (the nickname he gave her back then!).... We have many intense scenes and after they return back from the tour everything changes around them and between them...


Rowan was very nice but she didn't appreciate herself too much. She really liked Adam but she let her fear guide her... and she was pushing him all the time away. She was insecure and she thought that he'll never give up his single life for her sake...


Adam, from the other hand, was so cocky, self-assured, funny and free. He refuse to make promises that he never intent to keep and he is taking the life by its day!!! And don't forget that he is so damn hot!!! All the time, girls hunging around him...

But when Rowan enter in his life, we can see him changing!!! And that change is so fuckin' great... He is sweet and caring and absolutely... amazing!!!
Can i have him??? I want him!!!


Well, I really liked Rowan's friends Dee and Leti... They were awesome and friends with a big F. And I really liked the other band members and especially Shawn... I really adore him!!!

The story was so pleasant and i enjoyed it too much... I didn't want ever to stop reading it!!!
I just love them all... I can't wait for the next stories....
Yeah!!! Dee and Joel... i'm coming for you!!!!

I really LOVE these books. I mean... I have read this book eight times now. That should be enough to tell you how awesome I think this series is. (Plus, I have to admit the translation to German is really good.) I love The Last Ones To Know (well, Cody can go to Hell for all I care), especially Mike, and Dee and Rowan are amazing and everytime I also fall for Leti. I just love the characters that Jamie Shaw created. It's just beautiful.

I loved his band mates, they were hilarious. But Matt was my favorite. He is so adorable.

1. Nunca confíes en la recomendación de una escritora que no te gusta. Ni siquiera si la sinopsis de dicha recomendación parece medianamente llamativa. JAMÁS. De verdad. Si esa autora que no te gusta lo recomienda, probablemente es porque a ella le gusta, y entonces podrías terminar leyendo una historia con los mismos clichés de las historias que escribe la escritora que no te gusta y encontrarás a OTRA escritora que no te gusta.

2. El aburrimiento es tu enemigo y seguirá siendo tu enemigo. Ya ni siquiera puedes luchar contra él.

Sobre este libro:

1. La escritora no sabe cómo escribir una escena de beso. Un primer beso. #SMH

2. Es un insta-love de principio a fin. Ni siquiera se puede negar.



3. Los estereotipos de este libro son tan TAN molestos, que de verdad ni siquiera sé cómo pude terminarlo. Sí sé, me salté un montón de cosas #NoShame

4. Este libro cumple con todos los clichés del género, así que ni te molestes en leerlo si no te gusta el NA:

a. Protagonista virginal que a pesar de tener una relación de más de tres años con un chico aún NO ha tenido sexo. Y además es una chica buena que es súper inteligente y además hermosa.



b. Protagonista masculino súper caliente y que todo el mundo ama porque 1) es caliente, 2) es caliente, y 3) tiene una personalidad “arrolladora”.

c. Amiga loca que a es muy MUY “zorra” pero como es amiga de la protagonista, entonces es una “zorra” buena.



d. Nuevo mejor amigo GAY porque OH, POR DIOS, DÓNDE ENCUENTRO UN AMIGO GAY?! ES TAN GENIAL TENER UN AMIGO GAY PORQUE TODOS SABEN DE ROPA Y NOS PODEMOS PINTAR LAS UÑAS…. Hablando de estereotipos.

d. Slut-shaming. Todas las demás mujeres que no son amigas de la protagonista son ZORRAS, PERRAS, ENFERMAS… *inserte calificativos*



e. El papá de todos los insta-love.

f. Un protagonista que jurará amor eterno y dirá "es que eres diferente a toooooooooooodas las otras chicas con las que he estado" *bufido*.

No importa que dicho protagonista haya sufrido un momento muy Príncipe Azul de Cenicienta: ya sabes, se besó con la chica y resulta que cuando la vuelve a ver no puede ni reconocerla. Pero entonces cuando descubre la verdad es como: sabía que te conocía! #YeahTellMeMore.



En fin, podría seguir diciendo lo horrible que fue este libro, pero me rindo. El consuelo es que he leído peores. Eso.

Inhalt
Eigentlich mag Rowan Konzerte und Partys nicht, aber ihre Freundin Dee konnte sie doch noch überreden, sie zum Konzert der Band The Last Ones to Know zu begleiten.
Doch dann sieht Rowan dort ihren Freund Brady mit einer anderen Frau und für sie ihr der Abend vorbei - sie flüchtet nach draußen. Dort findet Adam Everest sie. Und Adam ist nicht nur heiß und der Sänger dieser angesagten Band, sondern auch fest entschlossen, sie ihren neuen Exfreund vergessen zu lassen!
Nach ihrem Auftritt will er auf sie warten, aber bevor es dazu kommt, verlässt sie das Konzert, in dem Glauben, ihm nie wieder zu sehen. Aber dann begegnen sie sich an einem Ort, an dem Rowan ihn nie erwartet hätte...

Protagonisten
Rowan war drei Jahre mit Brady zusammen und es war eine Beziehung ohne Sex, Brady bestand sogar auf getrennte Schlafzimmer als sie zusammenzogen. Es war sehr überraschend, ausgerechnet diesen Typ mit einer anderen Frau zu sehen. Ich habe mich wirklich die ganze Zeit gefragt, wie er das nur tun konnte, was seine Motive waren!
Sie hat mir auf jeden Fall sehr leid getan, denn Bradys Betrug kam so unerwartet, und er hat sich danach und davor so liebevoll, als würde sie ihm alles bedeuten. Gleichzeitig wurde ihre Ordnung auf den Kopf gestellt, denn sie verlor mit ihrem Freund auch eine Konstante in ihrem Leben und ihre Wohnung, und das kurz vor Beginn des Colleges. Immerhin steht Dee ihr zu Seite und unterstützt sie so gut sie kann.

Adam laufen immer eine Horde Frauen hinterher, denn er ist ein Womanizer und er ist auf nichts Festes aus. Ihm scheint eigentlich nicht vieles wichtig zu sein außer seiner Band und der Musik, aber den College-Abschluss will er trotzdem - nur das Arbeiten dafür liegt ihm nicht. Er lebt sein Leben wie er es will, keine Verpflichtungen, keine Hindernisse. Er wirkt eigentlich schon relativ oberflächlich, aber irgendwie mag man ihn doch, wenn er ins Mikro ruft, dass er nach dem Konzert auf sie wartet, und wenn man die kleinen Gesten sieht, mit denen er zeigt, dass er Rowan gern hat.

Andere Charaktere
Dee ist Rowans beste Freundin und spielt im nächsten Buch dieser Reihe die Hauptrolle. Sie ist wild und verrückt, sie mag Partys und Männer und scheint immer s unbesorgt. Wenn es um Rowans Gefühle geht, verteidigt sie ihre Freundin sehr leidenschaftlich. Mike und die anderen Mitglieder der Band mochte ich alle gerne. Sie waren alle so liebenswürdig und unterhaltsam, dass ich sie alle sofort ins Herz geschlossen habe. Ich mochte eigentlich alle Charaktere dieses Buches, daher freue ich mich schon sehr auf die Fortsetzungen!

Handlung und Schreibstil
Die Beziehung der beiden Hauptcharaktere ist so, wie es meistens wie es bei Bad Boy Geschichten ist. Sie sieht ihn zwar mit einem Haufen Frauen, aber sie fühlt sich trotzdem zu ihm hingezogen, und hofft irrationalerweise, dass sie anders ist. Und er behandelt sie zwar anders als die anderen Frauen, aber kann trotzdem nicht auf die anderen Frauen verzichten. Ja, mehr oder weniger das Übliche. Nur, dass Rowan sich auf etwas andere Art geziert hat. Sie wollte eben nicht eine von vielen sein, vor allem nicht nach ihrer negativen Erfahrung mit Brady, und das kann ich wirklich gut verstehen.

Fazit
De Story von "Rock my Heart" war jetzt nicht brandneu, aber doch unterhaltsam und gut geschrieben. Außerdem fand ich alle Charaktere sympathisch und recht authentisch. Ich freue mich auf die Fortsetzungen!

The story itself was fine. Maybe 2.5 stars but the amount of slut shaming and just really off putting comments brought it completely down for me. Not to mention the use of the r word and the way they described and talked about Leti (who said he was bi but the girls literally said “no you’re gay”. Like even if he was gay and not bi, who are these girls to tell him that?) didn’t sit right with me.

I think the author was afraid we would forget how every other woman in the book was a “brainless slut” unless they mentioned it at least three times every chapter. I wish I was kidding but you could barely get passed a paragraph without some form of degrading women. Calling them desperate, dumb, fake, unable to keep their legs closed for 30 seconds, and anything else you could think of. Except the FMC of course because she’s not like other girls, she eats pizza instead of salad and is a *gasp* virgin!

Putting that aside, I didn’t really care for the story either. Adam was so into her (Peach) that he was hung up on her for weeks after only spending a few minutes together (even though he hooks up with a lot of girls afterwards) but, he doesn’t seem into her (Rowan) now when they spend a whole weekend together. The only difference was her looks so it’s hard to imagine this connection they claimed to have. Yeah they’re flirty and he hits on her but it’s more like he’s just messing with her than actually into her considering all the girls he continuously flirts and hooks up with during their time together.

There were other things I didn’t like but honestly with all the women hating, lack of connection between the MCs, and the amount of girls he hooks up with throughout the majority of the book, that was enough to drop my rating.

my best friend and I were hanging out last night and discovered a mutual love for the occasional trashy guilty pleasure romance. so as soon as we got home (to our respective homes, not to one shared home, unfortunately, although that would be very fun and great and i would love it), she sent me the link to this book (in exchange for which i sent her info on the hating game, my favorite NA romance). anyway, i read this lil guy in about a sitting.

i love my best friend, and thus i enjoyed this book because she loves it. probably it's not perfect or something, but the whole experience was very fun for me (we live texted and snapchatted our reading experiences) and currently the book is inextricable from the experience.

i did pick up on some girl hating, though, but nothing worse than usual.

and also the lead guy is very hot.

Apparently, I read this years ago but I could’t remember anything about it. I just saw it on Hoopla and decided to borrow it to meet my monthly quota.

Anyways, this book did not age well. It’s insta-lovey with a heavy dose of slut shaming. The story begins with the FMC catching her BF of 3 years cheating on her but she’s immediately besotted with and feeling possessive of the MMC. Also, it’s ok for the guys in the band to sow their wild oats but when girl other than the FMC and her BFF lusts after the guys they’re automatically hoes?!?!? Gurl! 🙄

The romance overall was okay though. I really liked the grand gesture of the MMC to finally win the FMC. The spice was also good.

This book is for you if… you are looking for a fast-paced and easy to read teenager romance that has the rockstar/nerd-component that makes this story so interesting. Nothing out of the ordinary, this book still managed to make me laugh a lot, which I absolutely adored.

⤐Overall.
My general guts aim for a 3* in total but this book really got to me with its humour. I just couldn't resist laughing out loud or putting the book away because it was so cringy (in a good way). That's honestly what I love about quirky books and TV shows such as New Girl.

I noticed the authors' writing skills. Especially the way Jamie weaved in similes into the telling. It really fit with the overall story and writing style. I didn't expect that much (can't even remember why I bought it in the first place - but I regret nothing.
Both the main characters and the side character were well drawn out and fun to spend time with.

➺What's happening.
Rowan is your average school girl, including a boring-ass boyfriend. Or not so boring but still an ass ex-boyfriend. On a night out with her BF she finds him being immensely intimate with another girl, all the while he told her he was on one of his many "business trips" for his job. Single and shocked she actually bought Brady's crap in the first place, Rowan is crying her eyes out. But the evening is not over yet. Adam, local rockstar and heartbreaker is there to make her night but Rowan somehow finds the strength to not let it get past a breath-taking, life-changing, panties-dropping first kiss...

...Only to find him appearing in her first French class of college, not recognizing her without make-up in her nerdy day-to-day-style. Adam carelessly neglects his studies and out of some weird impulse Rowan offers to tutor Adam crash course style. One day later, she finds herself touring with Adam and his band for a long weekend. Turns out, the circumstances of close proximity and constant contact make it a sheer impossibility to resist him a second time.

The reader is not provided with Adam's point of view, which I kind of missed. But it's obvious that he is, despite his manwhore existence, a good guy who cares for the people that are important to him. He clearly makes an effort to make Rowan feel comfortable, but he clearly has more in mind than being "friends".

Although I can understand, where Rowan is coming from but her constant "let's be friends"-bullshit really annoyed the crap out of me.

The way they are around each other, especially the way he changes when she around says it all. It is so obvious that neither Adam nor Rowan are acting their usual selves when they are in each others company. I wanted to smack her. Hard. Repeatedly. With joy.



But other than that it is a really enjoyable book. It will take me a long while though, if not forever, to continue this story because there are SO MANY BOOKS, but sooo little time...

well, nothing NEW to say about the ever worn out trope "good girl/ bad boy" flick and yet it's all about the writing style...

here, i liked the writing style, so i guess I don't really care what trope I m reading, If you catch my drift LOL

Bad boy rocker, the lead singer Adam Everest meets a local beauty Rowan at the club Mayhem, where he performs, he sees her crying and offers her compassion and comfort over the fact that she just found her boyfriend of three years cheating on her. And yeah, without really asking her name, Adam gives her a nickname "Peach" and gives her two options - she can either get even or get seriously drunk with him.

She choses the latter, but she also skips after his performance and never gets backstage...

and the next time Rowan sees him is in her French class, but he doesn't recognize her, without the whole sexy outfit she wore as "Peach", in fact she's just the opposite, wearing glasses, her hair in a ponytail and baggy chlothes, she's far from the alluring girls that would usually caught Adam's interest.

He 's like a honey bee at the botanical garden, and I'm just a tiny daisy in a bed full of roses, I'm the only flower that won't put out

and when the circumstances pull them together on the same path, Adam is likely to form a friendship with a girl, for the first time in his life, as Rowan still won't admit to him that he already met her...so she lets it slip...and when that little mischief becomes a fact when Adam remembers her...he'll now try to prove to her that they were always more than just friends, and it's time for Rowan to accept it too.

I want him because of his eyes and his smile and his laugh and his heart. I want him because of his dreams and his goals and his sense of humor and his light. I want him because he made me promises even though he never makes promises, because of the way he looks at me like he looks at no one else. I want him because of the way I feel when I'm with him and the way I feel when I'm not.

"Why do you want me?"

"Because I love you."

awww, and there you go...

yeah, there couldn't be any more stereotypes in this storyline as there already are BUT I liked it.

So, those of you who thrive and enjoy this kind of thrope, I have no doubt you'd like this story too, just like I did. *wink wink*

Wow :D Das war soo schön <3

Ich habe mich schon richtig darauf gefreut "Rock my Heart" zu lesen, da ich Bücher mit Rockstars einfach liebe.

Das Wichtigste zuerst: Adam <3. Ja er ist ein Rockstar, aber er benimmt sich nicht wie ein absolutes Arschloch, sondern wie jemand den man auch gerne zu seinen Freunden zählen würde. Gut er ist viel auf Partys unterwegs und hat durchaus schon einige Frauen abgeschleppt, aber er ist auch ein herzensguter Mensch und ein treuer Freund.
Rowan war mir auch sehr sympathisch. Sie ist bodenständig und lustig und ich habe sie echt schnell ins Herz geschlossen. Ja gut, manchmal hätte ich sie auch gerne einfach durchgeschüttelt. :D
Auch die Nebencharaktere fand ich einfach genial. Ich freue mich schon darauf ihre Geschichten zu lesen! Besonders die von Dee und Joel und Shawn und Mike und... :D

Besonders gut fand ich die Liebesgeschichte an sich, denn die Beziehung der beiden hat sich langsam entwickelt. Dadurch konnte mich die Geschichte viel mehr packen. :)

Mehr möchte ich dazu gar nicht sagen, außer vielleicht noch: Klare Leseempfehlung! :)

Ich sehe aus, als hätte Dees Kleiderschrank zu viel getrunken und sich auf mir übergeben.

Ich habe dieses Buch in nicht einmal einem Jahr dreimal gelesen, habe immer noch wie blöde ins Buch gegrinst und konnte es einfach nicht beiseite legen.
Die Charaktere sind einfach nur spitze und beim Reread habe ich sie alle sofort ins Herz geschlossen, wo ich beim ersten Mal Adam noch nicht leiden konnte.
Absolutes Wohlfühl- Guilty Pleasure diese Bücher... *seufz* Da gibt man sich ganz kurz seinen Rockstarfantasien hin. (Wer noch mehr "rockige" Bücher wie diese kennt, darf mir sie gerne via Kommentar oder Direktnachricht empfehlen.) Und ich hätte gerne den Soundtrack zu diesem Buch.

Mayhem is a college romance between a typical good girl and a man-whore rockstar. It is slightly problematic if I think about it, because the main hero is definitely not someone you want to fall for. But it is a NA so who am I to judge? It was a nice slow burn with likeable characters, not only the main ones, but the whole rock band was just awesome 😎

I always liked bad-boy-type characters in my books and it surely satisfied my rockstar fantasy like the author promised 😂😅

Adam lets out a humorless chuckle. “I don’t think this ‘friends’ thing is really going to work.”

"I want it to be you, Adam . . . I’m yours if you want me.”

"Peach,” he says...."Ask me why I want you.”

Why do you want me, Adam?”

he stares down at me and answers, “Because I love you.”

You love me?” I ask, happy tears welling in my eyes.with a warm smile.

Ich habe dieses Buch geliebt und Dank Jamie Shaw bin ich meiner Leseflaute entkommen und habe endlich wieder Lust zu lesen.

Man, I really love rock star romance books. I'm not sure what it is about them but whenever I see one I pick it up immediately. Mayhem was a fast, addictive read that just furthered my obsession with musicians in books. It was the perfect escapism read as it was swoonworthy, light, slightly angsty and full of fun moments. I flew through this book in one day, that's just how addictive and fast-paced it was. It was a really enjoyable read, but there were also a heap of cliches and many scenes had me rolling my eyes, I had seen in it all before. If you're looking for a fluffier, fun read without as much depth, this is definitely the way to go.

Rowan Michaels is a responsible, smart girl who focuses on her school work and is currently exceeding at college. But the this doesn't stop her from going out and enjoying herself at a bar gig with her best friend. Rowan was expecting a fun night out, but this reality was absolutely shattered when she saw her boyfriend kissing another girl. Devasted from the betrayal of her long-term boyfriend, Rowan leaves the bar to go outside and try to collect her emotions. It is here that she meets Adam Everest, an upcoming Rockstar of the band playing at the club. One emotional and impulsive decision after another resulted in a very steamy kiss in the back of the Mayhem tour band.

If you're wondering what happened after the passionate kiss Rowan and Adam shared, the answer is nothing. After the kiss, Rowan ran and bailed on Adam and his perceived idea of her. The confident, sexy girl that she was portraying that night was not the real Rowan, so she left without looking back. Much to her surprise, a very familiar hottie joined her French class at college. Rowan thought that she'd never see Adam again, and as soon as she does, she is struck with how much she is still attracted to him. In another impulsive and emotional decision, Rowan puts her hand up to help Adam out because he is failing the class that they share. This involves tutoring him as she goes on tour with his band for an entire weekend. This weekend, however, does not turn out as platonically as Rowan had first planned and old feelings were rekindled between the pair.

Adam is a bad boy, damaged goods. He's the boy that every girl in the world hopes she can fix.

This book was cute, but it was also very predictable. I would say that this is one of those books that are cliched but I can't help but enjoy. I read this book for pure entertainment purposes without hoping for any profound moments, which meant that I enjoyed the story as a whole. In general, I wasn't bothered by most of the cliches, but there were a few tropes that got to me. The insta-love was definitely a problem with the believability of the novel and made me roll my eyes a lot. I'm also really sick of the good girl, bad boy/ man-whore trope that was so blatant in this novel. Despite these overused tropes, the novel was fun with heaps of humorous moments and sweet relationship scenes. I did say that I hated the insta-love, but I'm also still a sucker for any adorable romantic scenes, so the relationship wasn't a complete fail to me. I guess what I'm really trying to say is that this was an enjoyable enough book, but it was nothing special

They are a sweet couple but I think trough the whole story they were a little bit immature and I just need a alpha hero to feel the whole story and not a musician with black painted fingernails :)
