Murder at the Manor: A Small-Town New Year’s Cozy Mystery with a Senior Sleuth (Wilma Wade Mysteries Book 10), my seventy-seventh enjoyable short (46-page) read from author Daisy Landish that I finished in under an hour, the concluding book in the Wilma Wade Mysteries series. “I received a complementary Kindle copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to reading more from this author with Sweet Melody (Maplewood Grove, Book 10) high on my TBR list. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018.

Touring a Manor with a supposed Speakeasy. Will we finally get answers to who tried to poison Wilma?, our main story running through the series.
A murder. All the guests there are police. This is something you don't see often. Which one of them could have done it? Daisy defies all the rules and makes her own, making for new, interesting stories unheard of.
A Notebook. A disappearance. A secret Passage.
Daisy builds tension really well and sudden. Could Wilma be trapped with the killer in the passageway, or did the killer trap her in to get her out of the way. Will she make it out alive?
Who can you trust?
What happened in the past? How does it relate to the case?

A New Year’s retreat what a treat Willa Wade thinks ,but things soon turn sinister on a stormy snowy night when it appears someone has been poisoned causing such a fright. Not quite the delight she was expecting to find .The storm trapped the guests you see and they’re all embroiled in a murder mystery. There’s missing medication ,was this the poison used ? Well it’s on the top of the list. Splendid mystery immersive too and I was alongside trying to decide what they must do . I know it’s silly but that’s what Daisy Landish has you do while reading her stories ,the writing is simple and constructive but red herring ,there might be thrown in for good measure so you might not have found the treasure you seek ,the murderer could be someone you think is a friend and not a foe at all …eeek!

Another fun cozy!
Wilma Wade and many members of the police department and their families are at a private tour of Winter's Edge manor. Jacob Howell, a local historian, hopes to raise money to continue the restoration project. By evening's end, Jacob lies dead, and everyone at the manor is a suspect.
This series keeps getting better and better. Wilma has evolved from being a briskly stodgy character to becoming a good sleuth. I received an advanced copy, but my review is honest and voluntary.

It's News Year and there is no holiday in store for Wilma. I thought that being stuck at the manor would make solving the mystery easy but it wasn't easy. Lots of twists and turns. It was a great story.

I really like Wilma’s character and how sweet her relationship with Jason is. She always thought of him as the son she never had, and you can definitely tell the feeling’s mutual. He seemed honored for her to feel that way since he truly values her input. A fun quick read.
