The Reaper of Zion

Rate this book
When a covert rescue mission spirals into a deadly game of deception, Harry must navigate a shadow war where friend and foe look the same—and failure means losing more than just a life.
When Harry is approached by a mysterious Israeli woman—an old acquaintance of the brigadier’s—he learns of a personal tragedy with international stakes. Her son was killed in the October 7th attacks, and her daughter remains in the hands of the man behind it the elusive terrorist mastermind, Mohammed Abbasid. She wants Harry to do what no one else will—track Abbasid down and rescue her daughter.

The brigadier refuses, warning that operating inside Israeli borders without consent could spark an international crisis. But then, without warning, the brigadier disappears—abducted in a move that throws everything into question.

Captain Jane Smith, still nursing a grudge against Harry, puts her anger aside to enlist his help. Early clues point to Abbasid. But as they dig deeper, the trail grows murky—and dangerous. Whispers emerge that Mossad may be involved. Allies blur into enemies. And the truth could cost Harry more than his life.

Like Mitch Rapp, James Reece, or Jack Reacher? You'll love Harry Bauer! Perfect for fans of revenge thrillers and badass hero's who don't play by the rules!

one of the best yet

Harry Bauer is as close to Jack reacher as you’ll ever get. He’s ruthless he doesn’t get beat up for no reason he doesn’t engage in long protracted fights for no reason he doesn’t walk into a gun fight with his bare hands ever he is smart calculating ruthless, but also with the morals of a person who knows right from wrong. It’s not is it just this or injustice it’s is it right or wrong. But the best part is the book was nonstop action that made sense. There is no point where Harry gets forced to put his gun down and let himself be captured so he can hope to escape later and then do what he has to do after he escapes the impossible position, he’s in. Like those other action characters that we read far too often you almost lose hope in a good book coming.

This was another excellent chapter in the series . Harry just goes about his job. No questions asked. Saves the. children and executes the Gaza terrorist.. Then goes about trying to find out what happened to Buddy. But Buddy had already escaped. So he goes to. Syria and takes care of Cavendish and friends. Then Buddy comes to rescue. 10 stars plus!!!!! Thanks Carl Clause

Classic Harry Bauer returns

Harry Bauer received a visit from Miriam, whose daughter was abducted from her Kibbutz when the October massacres and taken to the Gaza. Harry decides he will find her and other girls being held hostage. When the Brigadier is kidnapped, the plot thickens as Harry has to try to get him back. Lots of intrigue and action. Can’t wait for the next book.

Last book I will ever read related to this character, the book is to be regarded as no more the narrow minded MAGA trash, no wonder the US gets more and claustrophobic, this book should only be read by ultra red MAGA supporters, whom regard abroad as the next state, and definitely by people whom are afraid of all thing foreign and different. This is the end of Harry Bauer for me!

A woman comes to Harry to rescue her daily.

Next thing he knows the General is abducted not a coincidence. These things have to be related. Harry goes to rescue the girl & then trys to find the general.

one of the best

The nice thing about this book is that it is up to date with current happenings. Furthermore, the actions of our hero reflect what one wishes to happen to these jihadists.

justice served

Greed and the thirst for more power blinded corrupted individuals without regard to its human costs . It’s up to Bauer to balance the scales at any price .

Blake please hire a new editor who can read.

Way too many spelling errors, wrong words, every chapter, every book, etc etc. On and on. Hire a college student for $15/hour to help.

Can't get enough Harry!

The violence, while gratuitous, is timely and adds a certain laugh to stories. Have grown to enjoy all of Harry's adventures

This was a standard Bauer adventure and for the most part it provided really great entertainment. However, the finale was somewhat over the top, lacked credibility, and stretched the imagination a tad too far!
