Rate this book
The inexperienced wife and the young gardener. The naughty, little secret and a scheming paramour. What would an unscrupulous man do when he found out the woman he wanted had a something she must hide?

I shook myself and forced myself to go on another lap. Don't think of it, don't. Don't think of how good he looks there, stretched out on the long chair, his shorts riding low on his hips, exposing a tight, well sculpted abs... I came up for air and stood up, trying to stop the flood of thoughts.
Only I had miscalculated the distance and had not reached the part of the pool where my feet could reach the bottom. I floundered for a bit, panicking slightly because I couldn't keep my head above water since all my joints were frankly exhausted.
I heard a splash and before long, a pair of strong arms were pulling me to the side, hauling me against a warm, solid chest. I felt the shakes now, my breathing quick and shallow while Jamie swam backward and finally stood on the narrow ledge that lined the deeper part of the pool.
He let me calm down a little bit, his arms firmly around my waist and I could feel his breath on my neck, warm and steady.
"All right?" he asked, his voice a little gruff.
"Yes," I said, then realized how breathless and low my voice was. "Yes, thanks."
"You were pushing yourself too far."
"Ah. I know, it was a little stupid."
He didn't say anything else and I started to feel more heat rising up my from within me. My whole back, covered only in strings of my bikini top and what little part of it that was covering my ass, was all snug against his bare chest; I was practically floating and anchored only by his arms around my waist.
Jamie was still breathing steadily against my hair and I realized with my heart beating faster that he had his head very close now, I could feel his lips hovering so close to my skin.
"Jamie..." I bit my lip when he did press his lips on my neck, warm and wet. He pressed his hands harder on my belly, keeping me in place as his mouth started its lazy exploration. I held my breath when moist tongue found sensitive spots, creating a little sinful trail down to my shoulder.
