Fifteen-year-old Alice Walker and her Aunt Meg have had an absolutely insane couple of months. As if being expelled from school, losing their closest family friend, and moving to a new state weren't stressful enough, they've found themselves on the run from demons... because, it turns out, the world of mythic creatures and ancient deities is very, very real!
But creating a new life in southwest Georgia, in the grand old Victorian mansion they've inherited, isn't proving to be much of a fairy tale either. Add in their obsessively bureaucratic new neighbors, a visit from the Fox's celestial parole officer, and a highly vengeful demon still on the hunt for them, but now allied with a deadly new force... and it's shaping up to be a summer that no one will forget.
