Angels, Demons and Forbidden Love interlace in this Dark Fantasy. Dantalion, an immortal angel is condemned as one of seventy two hosts of demons from an ancient 17th century book of magick, 'The Goetia'. He seduces a mortal college girl and practitioner of the occult who summons his true demonic form in the Courtyard of The Undead, creating an unexplainable relationship of love, obsession and redemption.
This book had a captivating, eerie atmosphere that kept me hooked throughout. The main character was well-developed, facing personal challenges that added a layer of realism, even with the supernatural elements at play. While some moments were quite intense, the blend of drama and emotional depth made it a compelling read. I really appreciated how the story balanced the mysterious with the relatable struggles of the protagonist.
