Yet another one of Scarlet's books that I am in love with! Scarlet will not disappoint you in this first book of a new series!

Adrian however has a whole new set of secrets that Victoria is unaware of that involve even the people closest to her.
One day, that is all the time that I needed to finish this new novel from Scarlet. The writing and the concept was fresh and new to me, and I simply couldn't put it down without finishing the story. Adrian is the typical Alpha male, and you will fall in love with his sultry words and take charge attitude. Victoria is pretty much a bad ass and I can't wait to see more from her. Be warned, this will end in a cliffhanger, but it's tolerable, not a "throw your Kindle across the room bad" kind of cliffhanger. This is the first book in the series, but fear not you don't have long to wait until the next in the series. Book 2 should be out in March! I can't wait to see how this story unfolds!

This is the first instalment in this series. It's a really hot, sexy and short read. I read this in one sitting-unputdownable.
Adrian Cassano is a hotel owner. Victoria is the undercover detective trying to uncover an illegal enterprise. These two are so unlikely to become lovers that I really loved when they did.
This is a really great story full of suspense and twists and turns. The sexy scenes where really hot. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm so looking forward to the next instalment... Especially after that cliffhanger!!

I think that Scarlet Wolfe has been concealing something! She has been concealing her talent for writing Erotic Romances! Scarlet has a knack for writing steamy scenes without over doing them. I know that a lot of people are fed up with series,but this is one you don't want to miss!The characters are likable,and believable.Victoria is an undercover officer sent to find "dirt" on Adrian Cassano,a club owner.He is very Charismatic,and Smexy,but is concealing something!Victoria is a female detective trying to prove she is as good as the men she works with.Once I started reading this story I couldn't stop! I wanted to find out what Adrian was hiding! I believe this first book is the beginning of a roller coaster ride to remember! Here are just a few of my Favorite phrases from Concealment,"Jealousy,Victoria.You deserve an award.I've managed not to feel that emotion for almost 10 fucking years,but I feel it now."And, "I've got it bad for you.I'm in fucking deep."He brings me to his chest and hugs me as he kisses my hair."Me,too,Adrian...me,too." I highly recommend this book,totally enjoyed it. I can't wait Scarlet for Consumed! I received this book as an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I have to say I love Scarlet Wolfe's writing. Victoria is a Detective trying to find answers, Adrian is from a close knit family and they own a Hotel / Casino / Clubs. Rumors are stirring and the Cop in Victoria needs to know if they are true, so she goes under cover as a server on her own time to prove them one way or another true or false. Adrina knows Victoria is a cop and isnt about to let her take away what he and his brothers have built over the years. What both did not think was that they would feel this connection that they have. They both know they should stay away and she knows he's the enemy but the sizzling Chemistry between them is ready to exploded. When a case that Victoria and her partner Reggie come calling and thing go wrong Their true feeling are brought to the surface, can they both stay true in what they believe and still make this new relationship work and secrets just may blow up in all their faces. So ready for the next book. I highly recommend this book and series.

I got the pleasure of bata reading this book and omg it is amazing! I loved every minute of it. The story is perfection. I could not put it down and I can not wait till the next installment comes out! I want so badly to tell you all about it however I don't want to include any spoilers. It's a must read!!!! It's one of those books that leaves you craving more. You just have to have it and you can't get it off your mind it's that good.

This is my first time reading this author and always on the lookout for new to try that will actually be good. Also being addicted to reading you want more than average because of all the tempting and want to reads. Stumbled on this author scrolling and looking at stuff and this cover caught my eye. Hum nice but would it be good. Well let me tell you the cover really doesn't begin the half of it. Once you begin this author with the opening character Victoria and what she is up to intrigued me right away especially with her occupation and like books that on occasion feature this occupation. Then her next character to catch my eye and dropped the snare trapping me was Adrian, even though he has siblings that are in this he is the beginning. This author than weaves her little web extra tight with the story that will keep you stuck in and fascinated through out every thing that goes on that follows. Both are guilty of concealment but through the throngs of passion that devours them both they take you down their road that when you are consumed the other stuff becomes forgotten. Of course that can lead to dangerous things to come too. With that being said will their love and passion be enough for them to do more than survive the fallout? So needless to say I do believe I got more than I was looking for and it actually was better than good that all I can say is thanks alot to this author to addicting me to another author that has characters that you can sink into and even drool alittle on. Received a copy as a gift.

Wonderfully written! This was one of the best books I've read! I love the bad ass,take no crap heroine,Vicky! And Adrian is awesome, Can't wait for Zev's story! Scarlet always brings her characters to life and makes you feel the tension and romance. Her characters always feel like someone you want to befriend and become part of their story! I'm in awe and speechless! The Cassano brothers are going to be too hot to handle! Thank you Scarlet for writing these amazing books! More please! I highly recommend Concealment to anyone who loves action,romance and suspense!

Great start to thus series!!
I was awarded an ARC of this book. I am so in love with this series. Spoiler alert it does end on a big cliff hanger. Lucky for us scarlet writes really fast. I have been waiting to read this series I really do believe it is the best we have yet to see from scarlet. Adrian is such a likeable character. At first I was not sure I would like him but you just cannot help but be drawn in by him. Victoria is a strong woman character. I hate when a woman is to easy and Vicky is perfect. You will not be disappointed in reading this book.

Wow! Scarlet has done it again. I wasn't sure about this book as i have a love for Damion(One Urge, One Plea, Keep Me Trilogy) But this book was amazing. My kindle died at chapter 7 and all i could do was scramble to find the charger. I did not care for Adrian at first but you get sucked into him fast. A good mix of romance and intrigue. I have a feeling that Adrian has a few more surprise for us. Thank you Scarlet for the chance to read another amazing story. Now get to writing!!

This was quite a different read for me but I really liked it a lot. Can't wait for the next book cuz this one definitely left me hanging...so many questions. Victoria is a detective but going undercover in a casino trying to find out what illegal activity is going on and find out why her father died. Adrian Cassano knows Victoria is a copy but falls for her. Really quick read with both POV as well as his brother Theo.

I was hooked from beginning to end. The story line was fantastic and very unique. The chemistry between Adrian and Victoria is sizzling. I loved it! I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

The heroine Victoria, a Police Officer, gets a job as a server at the Cassano hotel and casino. Her aim is to find evidence of criminal activity which she suspects plays a major role in the brothers’ business empire. What she didn’t bank on was being singled out by the boss, the sexy Adrian, and finding herself falling for him.
I just lurved the relationship between this couple! Adrian, an uber alpha male, breaks all the rules to seduce her, at first kidding himself that it is good practice to keep his enemy close, but then finding that he is developing ever stronger feelings for her as he gets to know her. He is wildly attracted to Victoria’s beauty, brains and bravado and wants to keep her safe. Adrian is torn between wanting to protect his family business and wanting to possess Victoria body and soul, the very woman who represents a significant threat to his activities.
Yet how far can a relationship go between a cop and a man who she suspects is part of an extensive crime ring? The scenes between Adrian and Victoria positively sizzle off the page and they are well matched and believable. The supporting characters too are all well-defined and I am looking forward o finding out more about them as the series progresses, especially the other Cassano brothers who also ooze major smex appeal!
When we first meet Victoria I was not sure that I would find her a likable heroine as she comes over as very kick ass. However, a few more pages into the story and I began to find out more about her realising that she hides a lot behind her hard exterior and that there is a lot more to her. Adrian in particular plays a key role in stripping her of her armour as he is keen to find the true woman underneath. He is fully aware that she is a cop and wonders if and when she will admit this fact to him. Victoria is attracted to Adrian unlike any other man yet can she trust him and is he the criminal she believed him to be?
The book ends in a cliff-hanger, which left me itching to read the next instalment. I recommend Concealment to readers who enjoy a sexy and suspenseful adult read with a drop-dead gorgeous alpha male who is torn between the girl of his dreams and the high stake activities of his family business. Concealment - The Cassano Series by Scarlet Wolfe

Wow....what a great freaking book! I will say that I have been in a HUGE book slump and this book totally got me out of it. As a reviewer being in a slump can be daunting and I was not really looking forward to reading an author I had never read before but boy was I on the edge of my seat. As many of you know one of my top 3 reviewing pet peeves is a series that the books are short but come out quickly. Hate it. However, I will totally let it slide this time! LOL.....
Because it was not very long I dont want to give too much away but boy was there alot to absorb within the limited pages. So I will try not to give too much away because I am telling you now, this series is a must read and I only pray to the literary gods that the following ones are just as good.
So......Victoria is a cop who has gone undercover at a casino where she is under the assumption there may be some sort of prostitution ring going on. Not only that but it is hinted to that her fathers death is somehow tied to the club as well. While undercover she meets the "Boss" and unexpectedly falls head over heels in love with him. I also have to mention that she is a bad ass with a mouth on her and I loved her to pieces!!
Adrian Cassano, one of the brothers that owns the hotel and the "Boss" knows EXACTLY who Victoria is and what she is there looking for. But it does not stop him from falling head over heels for her as well. I love their chemistry and love, love, love everything about their sordid romance. Their banter is hysterical and their chemistry is not overdone and is totally realistic.
By the end of the book something happens to Victoria and Adrian lets her know that he knows who she is which had me sitting on the edge of my chair but the SHOCKER of all of this is HOW Adrian has known all along she is a cop. WOW.....talk about plot twists!!! Not only that but you find out what is really going on behind the scenes at the club and another twist!! Unfortunately, that is how the book ends....leaving me with my mouth wide open thinking "Oh no she didnt" (meaning the author) LOL..... I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this book and it got me out of my book slump. I am anxiously awaiting the next installment which is slated for late March.....Highly recommend to my readers here on Books Unhinged :-)

With a snappy pace and entertaining dialogues, this story flew by in a happy daze. Don't miss it, book buddies! :o)
Victoria is a strong woman whose intent is to uncover illicit operations in a Las Vegas casino that belongs to the Cassano family.
She doesn't count on Adrian Cassano being more charming and passionate about her than it's advisable. She feels drawn to him, warmed by his company. I really liked that she's honest despite her charade, and that she shared a passion for vintage cars with Adrian. He's not only respectful though hot towards her, but he's also aware of who she is and why she's there.
It was exciting to watch Adrian and Victoria fight their growing but forbidden attraction, but of course they couldn't deny it. She's funny and smart, he's well-mannered and intense.
Actually, the writing gets better as their impossible relationship develops. Adrian and Victoria share lots of nice scenes getting to know each other. He's patient but cautious, she's impulsive and working a double job that's starting to hurt her because she doesn't want to deceive the man she has feelings for.
Also, the sexy times are there, slowly unfolding into scorching hot encounters.
Part of the fun lies in the deception and secrets both characters keep from each other. She's torn between duty and her own feelings for Adrian, whilst he knows who she is but is trying to rein in his advances until she admits the truth or stops being so stubborn.
Meanwhile, the covert operations that are run in the hotel-casino are deeper than she anticipated. Lots of sensuality, funny dialogues, a romantic antihero and a heroine with a fiery spirit make this novel very entertaining and lovely to read. I loved the intense ending, so I'm more than ready for round 2.

I have read about every book Scarlet has written and I have told her with each book her writing has gotten better. It shows big time in Concealment. With a cover like that I know I love Adrian but know that I have read his book I love him so much!! I thought Adrian was going to be this big bad mafia lord but what I found was he was a guy burned from the past who has a passion for his family and what he's doing.
With each chapter you get deeper into Vicky and Adrian story peeling away layer after layer. Once your in there so much going on your like what next?
Vicky is a detective in Las Vegas who goes under cover in Adrian Cassano casino she wants to undercover what is going on in the hotel along side his brothers Adrian is a very powerful man.
But what she finds is Adrian is not what she assumed. She wants to pull out of her secretive undercover mission that she going along and rogue in the operation. Before she gets to close to the powerful men or she has to tell him about her being a cop before wanting to being with him.

But there are some major secrets in the Cassano world and Vicky is in deeper then she think she is. This book is a cliffhanger with some big secrets with some big surprises. Adrian and his brother has sucked you in and you cant wait to see what the next book holds for Vicky and the Cassano brothers.

Concealment is the first installment to the Cassano Series and I must say that I am excited to read the rest.
Victoria is an undercover cop who wants to finish the case that her father dedicated his time to solving before his passing. Wanting to ensure that he father's death is not in vain, she sets out to investigate Hotel Submission and the Cassano brothers.
She had done her homework on the family, knowing that they were very attractive and warned by her partner not to let them get to her but nothing prepared her for her face to face meeting with the owner, Adrian Cassano.
Adrian Cassano knows that Victoria is a cop but he believed in keeping his enemies close despite that fact he knew he brother wouldn't agree. He seemed to believe that he could handle this undercover cop with no problem but soon he learns that somethings you can not control when sparks immediately fly when they meet. The chemistry these two share is undeniable.
Broken rules and blurred lines take us through a steamy read with many twist and turns that will leave you wanting more.
I am anxiously awaiting the next installment and would definitely recommend this read.

Concealment is the first book in The Cassano Series written by Scarlet Wolfe. The book starts off with Victoria, she is a cop that goes undercover after her father dies, her father dedicated himself to solving a case before his passing and Victoria wants to make sure that the case he was working on gets solved. She has to go under cover at Hotel Submission and with the Cassano brothers. Victoria thinks she is prepared, but she has no idea what she is in for when she meets Adrian Cassano. Adrian Cassano knows that Victoria is a cop and he thinks that he can handle her. But will he be able to handle her when he can’t get her off this mind? What will happen when the rules get broken?
Scarlet Wolfe is an amazing author! This book was so well written I blew through it in a day almost without putting it down. There are so many twists and turns you are defiantly kept on your toes, and your nose in the book. Wolfe also included some hot and steamy scenes that alone would keep you reading! And the ending will have you waiting for the next book in the series to come out. This book!!! What a breath of fresh air… The storyline was very unique, the subject matter was nothing like I have read before, and I really enjoyed it. The character development was strong, even the secondary characters are appealing. I hope there will be more about the other HOT Cassano brothers. The writing will keep you guessing and yearning for more. I look forward to what comes next from this series.
I would highly recommend picking up this quick read and immersing yourself in Adrian and Victoria’s story. You are warned, this book will make your panties melt and leave you panting.

So I totally loved concealment. (Book one in the series).
I love the fact u get multiple points of view. (Victoria, Adrian & Theo.)
In this book you get Forbidden love at its finest :).
Victoria... is a gutsy, independent cop who sets in out to bring Adrian down. She feels by doing so she will be doing he farther a justice. She had no intention of falling for his good looks and charm.
Adrian... had received a heads up that a cop was coming in to his life & business. When he finally got to meet the woman he knew he had to keep her close, he felt himself gaining feelings he thought no longer possible.
Theo... Adrian's brother, the one whom seems to keep him grounded.
This is a fabulous start to the series and I cannot wait for book two.
I am in love with this couple. I have so many questions :/ damn my inquisitive mind. But that ending :( damn even Thoe it had clear warning I hate that cliffie:( scarlet what are you doing to me xx

I have to say I love Scarlet Wolfe's writing. Victoria is a Detective, Adrian is from a close knit family and they own a Hotel / Casino / Clubs. Victoria needs answers, so she goes under cover as a server on her own time to prove them. Adrian knows Victoria is a cop and isn't about to let her take away what he has built. Neither one thought they would feel this connection that they have. They both know they should stay away and she knows he's the enemy but the sizzling Chemistry between them is ready to exploded. When a case that Victoria and her partner Reggie come calling and thing go wrong. Their true feeling are brought to the surface, after a attack on Victoria that leads Adrian to the hospital that reveals he knows her secret. The ending has a great cliffhanger with at least one question getting answered. How does Adrian stay one step ahead of the cops all the time? You'll never guess who it turns out to be.

Concealment is a good book. It's the beginning of The Cassano series. I was warned that it had a cliffhanger but boy was I not prepared for the huge cliffhanger. It definitely leaves you hanging and wanting more.
Victoria (Vicky) Hart is a detective working under cover in the hotel and casino and hotel owned by Adrian Cassano. Vicky is a strong character. I loved her. She doesn't know that Adrian knows she's a detective. Adrian Cassano is sexy as hell. Adrian is drawn to Victoria. Adrian seems like a guy who is used to getting what he wants. Vicky knew Adrian was attractive but she never expected to fall for him. Of course there is no lack of steamy scenes when these two get together.
This is a great read. I can't wait to read the next one.

Victoria Hart is a detective going undercover looking for answers...with or without the approval of her Captain. Adrian Cassano is the brother in charge of the hotel/casino/lounges Victoria is infiltrating. Adrian thinks he's keeping his enemies closer by checking into Victoria personally but there is no way he could know there is so much chemistry between them that it's undeniable. She knows it's a bad idea to get involved with Adrian, but is there any way to stop it? Nothing and nobody is what seems. When you think you have everything figured out, you find there's more to the story...and what a story it is.
This was a fast read and the characters pull you in but it does leave you hanging. I really enjoy reading Scarlet Wolfe's books. They seem to be getting better and better with each one that comes out. You won't be disappointed. So glad I didn't have to wait for the next book!!

It's one laugh out loud what the heck romance story for sure. It's details are really awesome, the words jump out at you and hook you in. It's over all really great. It's a Must read that leaves you going "that's it?" believe me I had to turn the last page over and over again as I didn't want it to end or at least I was hoping for more to be on the next page. Please take me word for it and read the thing. I'm also hoping like hell that book 2 comes out and that there is a book 2 as the huge cliffhanger just isn't working for me; don't get me wrong the story is amazing it's the damn cliffhanger.

I love the book!! This is the first time I am reading Scarlet Wolfe’s books, and it is amazing—great start to reading the series. I will definitely read more of Scarlet’s books. I love Adrian and Victoria. Victoria is a cop, and Adrian and his brothers own a hotel/casino and a club. There is a lot of steamy sex involved. Victoria is working undercover to bust the Cassano brothers for their suspected crime at their club. Adrian is an alpha male, who knows how to take charge and gets what he wants. Little does Victoria know that Adrian already knows who she is, and the chemistry between the two gets intense. I cannot wait to read the next book.

Can two worlds collide ? Can they mesh ?
The strength of plot line is phenomenal and right up until the end gave me whiplash with one final blow and twist to the tale i did not see coming. The relationship between characters and reader is enthralling i couldnt out this book down a definite thumbs up from me ... As always this is a spoiler free review ladies
