I thought it was an entertaining read. There were some minor plot issues but the story kept me there, turning the pages. Callie's character was solid and the author demonstrated some skills with that aspect of the book. I enjoyed the story and I thought it was an interesting plot. I would probably purchase more books from that author.

Pretty good job Sapphire! There were errors throughout the book though. I couldn't stand Jared's no good behind! He was doing the most and expected Callie to sit back and take everything he was throwing at her. She did a hell of a lot better than I would've. I was feeling bad at the way he was treating her but after realizing how naive she was and the fact she was worried about what others said, all that disappeared. I was surprised at her occupation and just how easily she stepped back into the role after having second thoughts. I just wanted her to say the hell with her husband for once. Rosie seemed to be a good friend but I wasn't too sure about Emerald. Emerald just confirmed suspicions at end. Wow Megan was bold as ever! She needed her ass beat for what she pulled. I was curious as to what Waylan was up to. Him and Jackson both were up to no good. Really Jared? I couldn't believe him and Megan did the unthinkable after Callie was the reason for his suppccess. Now his bad business is the cause of everything that is being thrown at Callie. Hopefully part 2 will have more insight on a few things. Will Callie be able to really prove she had nothing to do with Jared's extra activities, will Waylan and Callie be able to pick up where they left off, can somebody please beat Jared's ass, how did Megan and Jared get started, and will Callie finally let go of her failed relationship and stop caring what anybody tells her sorry ass husband?!

This is the series comes before Falling for An Alpha Billionaire. However I read the books in the wrong order.
So now I am catching up with the story by reading these books. This is Callie/Wayland and Jackson/Emerald's stories. These are Edwin's brothers.
This story too had my jaw hanging open about Callie's life and what her douche of husband is doing to her.
It filled in the gaps of the stories for me since I read the books the wrong way around! I have to admit that I am enjoying Edwin's story more!

Great intro
I started reading this book and realized that it is the introduction to the Falling for an alpha billionaire series. I read the other series not realizing that this came first. This is the back story to that series, so I will definitely be reading all of this series, and hopefully it will answer some of the questions that I had. I would recommend that you read this series first before reading the Falling For An Alpha Billionaire series.

Don't Tell My Husband: BWWM Romance
This is a different approach from the WM Waylan/Jackson who are Japanese, Jamaican and white following traditions of their culture. Then, there is the BW Callie who is racially mixed as well and married to an abusive manipulative man named Jared. I can't wait to read book 2 and follow these relationships as they intertwine.

I started this series after completing Falling For An Alpha Billionaire. I thought this 1st book provided good background information about how Callie/Waylan & Jackson/Emerald met. Jared was an evil husband to Callie mistreating her at every turn. His only concern was himself & girlfriend Katie (Megan) despite Callie's support toward him. Waylan was someone beneficial to Callie & her needs. Interesting characters & storyline.

I think the title needed to be different. I enjoyed the story. I know this is a series. i can tell this book is just the setup. At any rate, it was well written and easy to follow. On to part 2. BUT PLEASE PROOFREAD!

Absolutely. The storyline is one that was not the norm in this genre, which is rich billionaire coming in like a "white knight". The heroine while naive and not street smart was business savvy. You want to yell at her and say "girl wake up". A story that can have you talking back to it is a keeper in my book

Waylen. He was forceful, direct and pure alpha.
What does Katt Kampbell bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The narrator brought the characters to life. There was a distinct difference between characters. Sometimes when e-books are transferred to audio, you lose that audio audience when the narrator is sleepy, uninterested. This narrator enjoyed this story and it came thru in her delivery. I look forward to her narrating the rest of the series :)

I read this book first, but my preference is audiobooks. This is honestly one of the best e-book to audio conversions that I've experienced. I've listened to others in the IR genre and the books while good on paper lose me with the horrible narration. Sapphire avoided that pitfall. Great job overall to the author, narrator and the production team. Bring on the rest of the series.

Erotic Gangster Love
This is a different type of read. First it was sexy as hell. I was entertained and educated. Lol. I'm still thinking about those Geisha Ben-wah balls. I can't lie, i had to Google that. Lol I thought it was all about the sex but I see it's other things going on. Now, it's starting to get gangster. I feel bad for Callie. Poor thing is so smart she's dumb. She's getting sucked into all kinds of mess and she's clueless. So much for being spontaneous. She could have at least checked out the guy before agreeing to spend a week with him. She don't know him like that. Then there's Emerald. She knows something based on her actions. Rose seems like the smart one outta this bunch but is she? Can someone get rid of Jared now? He's just messy and needs to go. I thought this was just another love story but I see it's much more and I will be reading the entire series.

Well this book was very interesting. Meet Callie a woman who knows her husband leaves her every night for his mistress. Callie and Jared met in college, while Callie paid for Jared's way through college and later turned over her business to him, leaving Callie in the dark. Callie decides to take her left back and calls her friend Rosie to step back into the business to earn money for herself. Enters Waylan, he learns Callie's secret and gives her an indecent proposal of seven days with him. What Callie doesn't know is that Jared has been making some dirty dealing and having Megan sign Callie's name unbeknownst to Callie, her world is about to go way left than it already has. Can Callie land back on her feet or will she drown from the things her husband as done?
I am looking forward to reading the next book and find out is Callie will rise.

WOW!!!!!
Sooooo not what I expected.....this book is the BOMB.....and the story line is just GREAT......so far I am loving the characters and the drama they bring to the story. Callie has put up with her nasty husbands ways for so long and finally meets some one that will seemingly rescue her from the hell so I hope that Waylan is not gonna be the end of her.....and I thought that Emerald and Jackson were going to hit it off too.....but the plot has thickened.....I can't wait to get to book two to see what happened next.....

Don't Tell My Husband Review
I enjoyed reading this book, but certain parts made me mad. Jared was an egotistical bastard. He had a wife and a mistress. Callie knew about the mistress, but she was ok with it. I would've had Jared's head on a chopping block. He treated Callie like his maid instead of his wife, and he allowed it. I was shocked to learn about Wayland and his crooked ways. Emerald was also full of surprises.

My heart is still racing
OMG when I started reading this book I was like oh hell nah is this trick crazy for allowing her husband to cheat on her and just treat her any kind of way. But after the second chapter, I was like oh okay well she's not completely stupid. But OMG that ending!!! That ending had me on the edge of my bed. I can't wait to read book two!!

Gotta Read The Second Part...
I didn't think I would like this book. Now I'm anticipating reading the second part! There is no freaking way I would be in a marriage like Callie and Jared has. Both of them are cheating on each other; and Jared and Emerald has Callie in something she knows nothing about.
