Less than one star

The sex was not hot (the writing made me laugh- it was very much just going through the motions) and the story line was cliche and boring. Wanna be like Fifty shades book but nowhere near it. Didn't like it at all. Sorry.

This is a light read on the erotica genre. It was a fun read. The language was lucid, but this is not the best read in the erotica genre though.

I am a huge Lucia Jordan fan and have read and liked many of her books. I have to say that this one is a bit of a disappointment especially the ending. This is book 1 to more and usually that doesn't deter me to continue reading the other books, but I honestly just couldn't get into this book.This is however a fast read so if you are looking for a reasonably priced book you might like it. I have learned over the years that you have to make up your own mind when reading a story. I may love one and you may hate it. I don't like to give the storyline away because I in turn don't like when others to that when I want to read a book. I will say however that the characters in this book are one-dimensional, the storyline was fairly predictable and you can figure out what will happen by the end of this book. If you are looking for a book with a little bit on adul content, take a chance and read. As I said, you may love it. I was asked to give an honest opinion regarding this book and in doing so, I received it for free.

The story is submissive. The orientation has been explained pretty well, giving the story nice edge. It has the drama a story needs. A good read for pastime but I am unable to get the rest of the parts.

The story is about a girl who could have had a great life, career and vision, had it not been for the a wrong choice. She chose short-lived adventure and danger over focus and career and she landed up living life two years behind schedule. It certainly made me stick by the plot.
I read it while on a reading binge. I had read an erotica just before it, and this was dull in comparison.
While the beginning sounded refreshing, it ended up in that oh-so-typical Christian Gray-50-shades fucked up fashion.
Towards the end, however, it did intrigue me that while Cheyanne is still making a choice and crucial decision, her ex-husband comes back. That, is now a clever plot twist to compel me to read the rest of the books in the series.

This book is amazing

I choose to give it 4 stars, because it was good, but most of her other books were Notre suspenseful, which is what people look for in a book. I love how you couldn't have expected Mark to come back after this 3 years. I disliked how it was foreshadowing, it was either Mark or Brett in college and after messing up Mark, she decided Brett was the better choice. I would recommend this book to my friends going through relationship difficult, to show them that it could be worst.

Short intro to a very hot alpha dominant lawyer. Cant wait to read the rest of the series. I just wish they were longer books or maybe just one novel.

Cheyanne is pre law in college and has been dating two men. Brett makes her choose one and she choses wrong.
Years later she runs into Brett again and he makes it crystal clear what he wants from her and how he wants it. Can Cheyanne be a true submissive to this gorgeous alpha Dom? We will find out as the story unravels.

This book's storyline is shitty if you ask me, I read a lot of books, but I didn't like anything about this book, the smut was alright but the characters were ridiculous, how Mark came in the end and started a fight with Brett didn't make sense, and I didn't know you would fall in love so fast with your boss, I mean yeah, they may have met before in college and had history, but it wasn't something that could make you feel like this after years, it's just my opinion but yeah, 2,5 stars actually

What would you do if your new boss was an old boyfriend you dumped from college? For Cheyenne this came true when she took a new job and learned her bare boss was an ex from college. To make it worse was that he was hot and even more sexier than she remembered. When he begins to flirt with her are his intentions to resume what they had lost or is it to pay her back for dumping him.

The first chapter of the book is rather straightforward. I must say the characters are well-described. You can expect a different plot of story from other available hot and saucy novel.
