Morn Shademaker. Ungodly strong and ungodly fast. Those grey dead eyes of his aren't worn by a man who bends the knee. They are the frightening windows into the realm of the dead. His voice, the beckoning of Death's Summons. His mercy can only be found in the bosom of Death and Ismare Morcanse wants to know why. Yet, as Hunster 'Hack Jaw' Hanley rides for Lorencia, Morcanse's pride is drowned by his sense of justice, and he needs the Shademaker's strength.
If he's not willing to offer it, can Morcanse take it. Or will he find himself another among the nameless dead to have crossed paths with the Shademaker? The answers can only be found through sword and shield.
I'd like to think I'm some kind of an author. Someone worth reading at least once, or maybe twice in my lifetime and at least thrice when I'm dead. That's the ultimate aspiration. Hope my writing ability and the few ideas of the sixty million that actually make to the paper and digital screens of smartphones and eReaders are worth it.
Outside of writing I'm simply me and who I want to be. Well almost. Writing isn't yet my occupation. Therefore, I work with teenagers to make a living. They'll one day shape the world, so why not be apart of making them positive role models and contributing members of society. There are enough vagabonds to go around.
In my spare time I'm an avid reader (for so long as the word avid can apply). My favorite author is Joe Abercrombie. Read him...well only if you want. As an author I've at promised myself that I'll knock over 8-10 fiction/non-fiction books between every two projects I complete. What's a writer who doesn't read. 'A writer who doesn't read. . . . I guess. But yes, I may add your book to my reading list. If I read it, yes I'll write a review. Will it be favorable? Well that's entirely up to you. Will I still post it if it's unfavorable? Well absolutely, because I believe once I read your book I become a part of your audience. Thus I'm entitled to my honest opinion, even if it doesn't swell my fellow author's ego (I'll still love you and retweet your books, even if I think it sucked. Feel free to say that mine sucked if that's an honest assessment after reading :))
TV shows you ask? Game of Thrones. My favorite. Yup, I'm a certified fanatic when it comes to George R.R. Martin's creation on HBO. I've watched each episode multiple times and plan on reading the books. I'm also a fan of The Vampire Diaries, Scandal, The Originals, The Tomorrow People (Cancelled after one season), Reign, Shameless, and I think that's all of what comes on television now.
