THIS BOOK WAS RE-EDITED IN 2023I'd like to take this time to talk about this type book. Most of us who read and write SHTF stuff kind of believe deep down that it could and very well may happen. A lot of us are preppers- I am and have been for forty years. Most everything I've written deals with an event that knocks the wheels off the world such as an EMP. I wrote the first Valley book about an economic collapse, and I know less about that subject than an EMP (which ain't a lot). But after the first one, I realized that while the world might be burning down in the cities, that didn't mean that all of civilization came to a grinding halt. The military would still be the big dog on the block and I wondered how a story would play out if the military were to get involved in a big way? I'm still not sure, but I'm going to try to put it together in a way that might be close to the real thing. I guess it will depend on my reading public if it's an idea that folks like. TJ

fun read

entertaining as always from TJ...just to short....should be around 980 pages....I enjoy TJ's books because i can relate to them. they make me think of preppy things i may not have given thought to....good blend of fact and fiction....

Mr Reeder just keeps going along writing stories to entertain, laugh, and make the readers think.Now he has me involved in two different series....and I am loving it. Waiting for more of both.

Something wrong

This book marked 2, is a repeat of book 1. Not sure if it is a formatting error or what. And it seems as if there is no book 3
