It was one of the most beautiful books I have read in a while. It captured my soul and took me on a journey I've enjoyed with my whole heart. Thank you that I could have the privilege to read such a fantastic story

I signed up for Kindle Unlimited because it seemed like a good deal and it was free for the first month. SPECTACULAR! Free? Hundreds of books? Where do I sign up? Am I right? This series is one that Kindle Unlimited suggested to me, so I thought, "meh, why not?" I love a good time travel romance and this one WASN'T set in Scotland so that was a plus in my eyes. Little did I know, I would metaphorically crack the pages (as it was an e-book so, there was no crackling of pages), and get sucked into a world that I couldn't leave!
It starts with Maggie cleaning out her family's barn. She's sad, because (spoiler, kind of) her grandfather has passed away. Through a series of events she ends up thrust back in time where she is rescued from a bear by Winkeohkwet (Winn) a native american warrior. The indians (native americans) knew about the time walkers, so Winn knew what she was. He takes her back to the village or tribe and the story plays out from there. It has a lot of twists and turns. Some surprises. Some deaths *gasp*.
An incredible story about love, honor, family, and more. Winn is strong and proud. Maggie is doesn't take to the customs and the woman's place well. She has a hard time being told what to do. It was fun to read their interactions and how she deals with having to submit in some ways, and Winn deals with her fire and spirit. I love the way the author writes. I felt like I was there, immersed in the world. I loved that we got multiple POV's. At some points it's Winn, some it's Maggie, some it's Benjamin.
Great story two thumbs up, 5 ecstatic stars! It will be a series I'll read, and re-read.

The book had so much potential but my god, the protagonist was insufferable. She didn’t know how to adapt to her environment! She made a series of dumb decisions and had zero agency of her own. Screaming about your independence in 1600s colonial America among a culture you don’t understand does not make you a strong willed woman, it makes you a moron.
And what makes it worse, she was so aggressive living in the Native American tribe but as soon as she was kidnapped into an English settlement, she was quiet and demure and just “gave up”.
So much could have been resolved if she had made smart decisions. Like when she was specifically asked to shelter in place because serious stuff was about to hit the fan, and instead runs off to pet some ponies...Read the longhouse, Maggie! Oh, and she does so in her modern day clothes which she’s never done before. Surprise, surprise, she gets caught as a time walker.
But not only that, she gullibly marries the man who had a hand in her true love’s death! I was absolutely insulted on Winn’s behalf. Many Native American men were either fetishized or turned into villainous caricatures in this while the English antagonists were misunderstood hogwash.
So much miscommunication in this book just for the sake of plot. Winn deserved better to be honest, as do all the NAs in this series.

Could not put it down
Intriguing story of love and time travel. I enjoyed the historical aspects of the book. After starting the first book I realized I had downloaded a series. Wonderful surprise, but my weekend was spent reading. I literally could not put the books down and wanted to find out what happened with Winn, Maggie, and all the other amazing characters.
The love scenes were a little tame compared to some books I’ve read, but good without more graphic details.
I must admit I was put off in the later books as more typos appeared. Them when The should have been used. In one book I think Winn was referred to as Will. I still recommend the books. The story is good and the character were varied and interesting.

A Must Read !!!!
This is the first book(collection) by this author I've read and I turned around and re-read it. The characters are so real you can almost smell the wood smoke. I enjoyed immensely the give and take between characters as well as the disconnect between Winn's time and Maggie's.
The author has obviously done a lot of fact finding to portray life in the 1600's so well. E.B mixs Native Americans, English and Norse culture and language switching from one to the other easily, seamlessly.
If your into time travel these are Must Read!!!

When is the right time?
This is one of the best books I have picked up in quite a while, truly a great story! The author keeps you engaged in the story and hanging on waiting to see what will happen next. It had some most unexpected twists in it that I didn't see coming, I love that in a book! Parts of the book were a bit "racey" for my normal tastes in books, but other than that it was great.

Blood stone Time Walkers
This book has taken me days to read, I have no words that can do this story justice. From a blue eyed Indian finding a redhead young lady, to the stone that took her back to the 17th century. The story lines just keep you so engrossed. This is one novel you need to read fro yourself, it’s simply too full of events to cover. One of the longest novel I have ever read. Simply incredible.

Didn't want to put it down
The more you read the deeper connected you become to the characters and they lived. A beautiful sage that blends more than one culture and the struggles to survive and acceptance. Indian and norse. Cultures with legends and time travel along with characters that you compelling you to lo e and grieve with. This series should one day be a television series, especially for those who like the Outlander series would most likely love this as well.

The Neilsonn-McMillan duo endure and strive to keep what they have together, their family, their community. The English are expanding and pushing tribes away than their home grounds, and some tribes fight and die. Benjamin continues to keep a careful eye for the safety of the Blooded-Ones. Alliances are formed to promote peace and longevity between the mixed cultures.

Could not finish...
I gave this five stars because even though I couldn't finish the book the premise was good. This us written as a historical fictional story with time travel thrown in. Maggie travels from 2012 back to 1612. Unfortunately I don't enjoy a heavy story. If you are into time travel and history of the native Americans this is the book for you.

June 13, 2021A plus for a time-travel book that doesn't involve Scotland (haha, as much as I love those it's nice to have a change of setting). Interesting premise, although the h did strain my patience quite often. The collection on kindle doesn't format clearly into different books within the series so after a while, it felt like reading one looooong book and I needed to take a break.

Excellent series! Great character development. Unpredictable twists in the plot. I initially read it using Amazon Prime Unlimited. I enjoyed it so much that I think I'll purchase my own copy so I can lend it to my daughter.

If a series could be addictive, this one is. I guess I did a marathon read. I remember little else for those three days. Loved the characters and how they complimented each other. Great story that I hated to finish reading.

Another great time travel series
Good stories by E.B. Brown, this is the first book in the series, I read the second book first so when I read this one i figured out the story read the in sequence it will make more sense.

May 23, 2020This is the best book I have read in a long time! Probably because I love genealogy/history. I really liked the notations that were at the end of the book. She was very accurate with the time line also.

3.5 to 4 stars. Way more to this story than I expected. I found Time Walkers hard to put down once I picked it up. It did take me two weeks to finish because it's long plus working all the time makes longer books more of a chore...overall very entertaining novel.

Wow
I so enjoyed this book. The great love of Winn and Maggie. Simply timeless. I laughed and cried throughout this wonderful book. I would like to know why Chetan never remarried. I guess it was because of the love he had for his wife.

This 4-in-1-box-set is not what I expected and more than I had hoped. From beginning to end the journey through these books was enjoyable and yet when book 4 was over I was also ready to say goodbye.
