Breve racconto dell'orrore per un pubblico giovanile, illustrato da un Junji Ito meno disturbante del solito... o quasi. Volevo quasi farlo leggere a mia figlia di dieci anni, ma le ultime due-tre pagine mi hanno fatto davvero accapponare la pelle...

Potrebbe essere un esempio, estremamente inquietante, di come ci si senta soffocati, soprattutto in un periodo delicato come l'adolescenza, da una società opprimente che lascia pochi sbocchi all'autodeterminazione ed alla libertà più ancestrale. Oppure, semplicemente, quando viaggiamo e ci mettiamo a guardare fuori dal finestrino ed allora guardiamo le cose con più attenzione e quante volte, oltre alle classiche nuvole a pecorelle (che poi che caz.. vuol dire nuvole a pecorelle!?), comunque ci vediamo altre cose e un viso e soprattutto degli occhi, emergono sempre... oppure no!? :O

Pięknie narysowane i wydane po polsku, bardziej jako album czy artbook niż samodzielna powieść. Zostawiam bez oceny, bo trudno mi się odnieść jednoznacznie do całości, ale ciekawy eksperyment z niesamowitą warstwą wizualną.

"Existem muitos rostos neste mundo."

Primeiramente: wow, lindo. As quatro estrelas são puramente porque é Junji Ito em cor. É isso.

10 páginas a mais fariam essa história ser 10/10 (até mesmo umas 5), mas como ela está agora, está mais para um 7/10. Chegamos ao final com uma sensação de "ué, é isso?", como se o autor não tivesse mais criatividade para fazer um desfecho satisfatório.

Talvez porque seja um livro para o público infantojuvenil, senti falta da expressividade nos traços do Junji. Os únicos rostos com alguma feição são os que estão atormentando o personagem principal.

Ainda assim, é uma obra-prima porque quando será a próxima vez que veremos os pesadelos itanianos (junjianos?) coloridos?!

Il libro si presenta come un breve viaggio all’interno della testa di un ragazzo che probabilmente soffre di una versione grave di pareidolia che lo porta ad essere paranoico e vedere facce ovunque.
Un esercizio di stile per Junji Ito che ci porta nei meandri del suo mondo disturbato ed oscuro.

Olhares é o primeiro livro infantojuvenil da sensação dos mangás, Junji Ito. Ele é responsável pelos desenhos, enquanto Soshichi Tonari é responsável pelo texto e pelos roteiros. Olhares é uma história de terror para crianças, dentro do selo Caveirinha, da Darkside Books. No entanto, seja pela forma como a narrativa se dá (ao estilo japonês), seja pelo acabamento e pelo design do nome de Junji Ito, além de nenhuma diferenciação na descrição do texto de que este era um mangá ou um livro, me fez crer que estava comprando um quadrinho e não um livro infantil. Claro, é uma história de terror bem legal para crianças, mas ainda assim me induziu em erro ao comprar gato por lebre. Desconfio que foi proposital.
