Le Secret de la Licorne
Tintin découvre un message codé dissimulé dans le mât d’un modèle réduit de bateau, qu’il vient d’acquérir pour l’offrir au capitaine Haddock. Le parchemin est en fait la clé d’un trésor à découvrir. Mais lequel, et où se trouve-t-il ? Au même moment, Haddock retrouvre dans ses archives l’histoire oubliée de l’un de ses ancêtres, officier de marine au XVIIIe siècle, qui ne serait autre que l’auteur du fameux message codé. Hélas, le parchemin n’est lui-même qu’un fragment. Il en existe deux autres, dispersés, qu’il faut impérativement réunir pour espérer mettre la main sur le mystérieux trésor…

Tintin et Haddock montent une expédition en mer afin de tenter de localiser l’endroit où a coulé le vaisseau La Licorne, dont l’épave recèle peut-être le mystérieux trésor de Rackham Le Rouge. Destination les mers chaudes, en compagnie des Dupondt et d’un nouveau venu, inventeur farfelu et indispensable dont on n’a pas fini d’entendre parler : Tryphon Tournesol.

Siempre me gusta novelas gráficas con Tintin y sus amigos. Ellos tengan muchas adventuras interesantes. El tesoro del Rackham de Rojo introduce Profesor Cálculo y él es uno de mis personages favoritos. Aprendé que “Snowy” se llama “Milú” en español. ¡Muy interesante!

I have the Bertelsmann edition from 1978 that combined the two stories, but did not have an ISBN and does not appear so far on Goodreads - this edition comes closest to it, hence I review this. It was my first ever Tintin story that I owned and read in the 80s, which surely contributes that it is my favorite Tintin adventure.
For the first time, two stories flow right into each other, but the stories are also well separated in a way that "Das Geheimnis der Einhorn" is about the discovery of a parchment in a ship model and making sense of its content, essentially learning that it is a treasure map. "Der Schatz Rackhams des Roten" is all about the following expedition to search the treasure. Surprisingly, there are no bad guys in this second part. While it is said that one of the bad brothers from the first story escaped, he never makes an appearance. While that might take away some threat and suspense, I think the story flows great without that suspense. Furthermore, I think it is one of the most funny ones, not only with conversations in which deaf Bienlein (Calculus) keeps misunderstanding what is being said, but Haddock, Schulze & Schultze (Thompson and Thomson) and Struppi (Snowy) are all just repeatedly in funny situations.

LAS AVENTURAS QUE LLEVARON ADELANTE SPIELBERG Y JACKSON EN SU VERSIÓN 3D
Luego de leer El Templo del Sol, era el turno de sumergirme a la historia que conocí allá por 2012.
Todo comienza con una compra que parece simple, un regalo de Tintin a su querido capitán Haddock. Sin embargo, resulta extraño verse sumergido entre compradores insistentes, un hurto masivo en el pueblo y un tesoro oculto. Acá es donde aparece por primera vez el profesor Tornasol (tengo entendido) que, a pesar de su grado de sordera, será clave en esta aventura.
En una edición especial de tapa dura, se reunen ambas aventuras ya que están ligadas. También disponible en la serie animada.
PD: Ahora me queda Tintín en América para cerrar esta etapa.

Tie-in zum Film
Bei dieser Sonderausgabe, passend zum entsprechenden Kinofilm, handelt es sich um die Zusammenlegung der inhaltlich aufeinander folgenden Tim & Struppi - Bände, die sich um die Bergung des Familienschatzes Captain Haddocks drehen.
Selbstverständlich stehen die Comics an sich außer Frage - Klassiker der frankobelgischen Schule, und für mich persönlich gehört die Tim&Struppi-Reihe mit zum Besten, was die Comicwelt hervorgebracht hat. Immer spannend, immer witzig, immer unterhaltsam und stellenweise sogar lehrreich.
Wieso ziehe ich also bei der Bewertung etwas ab? Naja, mir hat schon die kleinformatige Auflage nicht wirklich gefallen - und hier bekommt man ein Zwitterding. Deutlich kleiner als die Originalcomics, aber auch etwas größer als die "Mini"-Ausgaben, wirken die Panels doch etwas gequetscht. Diese Formatspielerei finde ich respektlos gegenüber dem Autor - das ist wie das Leserichtungsdrehen bei Mangas. Darüber hinaus ist das Papier halbglänzend, was der Farbpalette nicht wirklich zu gute kommt, die Farben spiegeln sich etwas im Licht; ingesamt wirkt der Doppelband dadurch schon etwas "billig". Immerhin wurden die Abenteuer durch die Vorsatzseiten der Originale voneinander getrennt.
Doch da man auch etwas mehr Inhalt bekommt, ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis gar nicht mal so schlecht; für Sammler und Fans aber wegen den Materialmängeln völlig uninteressant.
