Simone Dyani Staton yearns for family after the loss of her father at age five and her mother at eighteen. All she has is her best friend Amber and Amber's family that have taken her in as one of their own. Though she still feels that there's something missing. So in the search for family and a sense of belonging, Simone journeys to the wild landscape of Alaska to meet her mother's estranged Native Tribe, hoping that they will accept her half-breed heritage.

Never finding much interest in men, preferring to bury her nose in a book or her studies, Simone's experiences can be summed up to one brief chaste kiss in high school. So imagine her surprise when she is confronted with an intense attraction to her two gorgeous Alaskan tour guides. And just as surprisingly, the attraction seems mutual. But how can she choose between the two best friends?

Unbeknownst to Simone, the men have a dark and forbidden secret...Jackson Cole and Xander Drake share their women. With a lack of female companions in the Alaskan wild, they found that they preferred sharing rather than fighting over the women they wanted. And they want the 29 year old virgin unlike any other woman they had ever met. Her exotic looks and curvy body hidden behind horn-rimmed glasses, chastity and a shy demeanor have them dying to posses her.

The question is, will that same innocence that brought them to their knees, send her running in the other direction when they reveal their darkest desires? Or if they are lucky enough to get a taste of her, can they willingly let her go when her journey is over?

I was born and raised in Joliet, IL. I wrote my first story in the 3rd grade and fell in love with creating my own world. But throughout the years I have lacked the discipline to actually sit down and write. Even with a minor in Creative Writing (which should have been my major).
I have been a avid romance novel reader since Jr. High and have read hundreds. I have lived in Chicago, Japan, California and now reside in Arizona. And I wanted nothing more than to combine my love of romance, writing and traveling and put them in a book.
So one day out of the blue while in the middle of reading another book, the story that I had started months ago kept bombarding my every thought. Until I couldn't even continue to read the book I was in the middle of. I put down my Nook and picked up my laptop and about fifteen days later, I had finished my first draft of my manuscript. It was the most exhilarating moment of my life. To know that I finally did it. That I finally finished something that I had started. And now I'm and AUTHOR and PUBLISHER! I never would have thought that was possible three months ago. I just hope that everyone that picks up any of the books I write from here on out, enjoy them as much as I did writing them.

Okay.. So I truly love this story..

I must admit it started off quite intriguing, interesting. Then immediately, it went into some lackluster territory for me. I wasn't feeling the characters or anything really. But then by the 20-25% mark something happened. I'm not sure what, but things became a lot more interesting. Deeper. Emotionally gripping, all of it. Everything I hope to find in a story with a subject matter like this, was present.
And I'm tickle pink :D

This one was one of those rare, but great onions of the fiction world. The layers here, the more they were pulled back, became even more complex. Vivid. And beautiful. The ups & downs you witness here, I loved. I truly fell in love with these people. Jackson, Xander, & Simone just stole my heart. I love them together & as individuals. Their chemistry. Emotional & physical. Their banter as well. Though I must be honest here, I love Jackson more than any of them. *sighs* That man can get it. ALL OF IT!

And even though the story surrounding them was quite predictable in many ways, it didn't take away from you loving to watch it unfold. I think it all came together beautifully. And I truly, truly loved the way this one ended. Though I was sad to see it come to a close, I was happy with it all.

I would definitely recommend this read.

Twyla, thank you for the gift of penning this story. It made my week :D

This started out with potential, which was then drowned under copious amounts of tears and cum.

Simone was either crying or orgasming. It was tiresome.

What was more tiresome is the virgin/whore complex that's on steroids in here. It's awful. The next time I see the word "slut" used this often it better be in some good, nasty humiliation kink.

Twyla Turner became one of my favourite authors in 2014. I have read all her previous books which were all 5 star reads for me.

This story is about Jackson Cole, Xander Drake and Simone Staton and they are in a 3 way relationship. I will give the health warning now, this book will not be for everyone because its a love story which has two men and 1 woman in it. Ménage à trois is not my thing because I believe you will end up preferring one of the partners above the other. I do not see how it can be avoided. I ended up preferring Jackson and I was only reading about the relationship! :)

Jackson was the man for me, he was thoughtful, caring and loving and he knew he wanted Simone from the getgo. Xander was more reserved, flighty and unsure whether he loved Simone like Jackson did and whether he wanted to be in a serious relationship for keeps.

Simone, for a bright educated woman needed to get a clue when the men started to zero in on her. It took her a while to catch on that they both wanted her at the same time. At those points in the story I did want to shake her.

The other thing that I found interesting was how to keep both men happy and give them both the same amount of attention without ending up preferring one of them!!! It felt like exhausting work even if it was enjoyable!!

The story was well written and I enjoyed reading it. It got intense towards the end when we meet Beth and everything she tries to do to frustrate the relationship.

Well worth the read.

3.0 RATING-I had high hopes for this book. Namely because I liked the blurb and was in the mood for a menage read. I will admit, I can be picky when it comes to reading menage and maybe that's why this didn't rate higher. There wasn't anything wrong with Three, it was just kind of meh.

One issue, I'm over heroines that are virginal and naieve one minute and the next getting down and dirty, repeatedly, with no real development or growth (or healing time!). I guess the issue boils down to preference. I like a bit more story with my menage romances, this was mostly about sex. The story was written fine but the feelings and development just weren't there. I think this book would rate higher for those that like standard run of the mill menage reads. If you are looking for more of a story that features a menage romance, you may be disappointed.

Story was good, characters were a little on the unbelievable side, but it was still nice to read. Found some grammar errors (missing words) which lowered the rating from 4 to three. However I loved the ending wanted to really give it a 4, I'm going to give it a 4. I really didn't mind those errors. I figured out what was missing and inserted it and kept going. Who am I to judge on that, I terrible at grammar myself.

This was such a beautiful and imaginative erotic romance and the second menage story ever I enjoyed (usually those read more often than not like porn than romance) and I'm glad I gave it a chance.

I loved very much the main characters and Lanie, but struggled with Beth, Amber and Ethan (too over the top for my taste - though I'm aware some people love this kind of characters). I wished there were more scenes and interaction with Kohana (by the way kochana means in Polish beloved (female form, single) and fits so well here too *grins*) and we leaned more about the tribe and its culture (though can leave without those).
Another thing I loved about this story was the fact that this BBW MC of mixed race (Native American & African American) that doesn't concentrate too much on weighte/body form issues nor cultural problems (though there are a few glimpses of those - so it stays realistic). Her insecurity comes from very different areas which is very refreshing.

Unfortunatelly (as way too often with indipedently published stories) this book needs urgently an editor. I'm really willing to accept some errors if I love the story enough but this was absolutely not acceptable in this case. I really hope the author/publisher provides an edited copy and would be willing to read it again (and hopefully change my rating to 5 stars).

I'll look into the author a bit more and hope I'll find something that apeals to me (and has less editorial issues).

I have re-read this book in memory of Twyla Turner who passed recently. She was truly a pioneer of the plus size FMC in romance books. Her characters were bold, colorful and not forgettable. Just her style. Really great books to read they all are. Go ahead and read some. You won't regret it.

***Warning...potty mouth ahead***

WHY WHY WHY? can't shit like this happen in real life? I mean SERIOUSLY this book was awesome sauce and for the first time ever I am completely lost for freaking words. I have so many things to say and I am trying my best to get it out correctly and without saying too much to spoil it for those who haven't read the book

Okay... here we go...This book was hot, like hella hot and I am not sure how anyone couldn't love..okay let me back up... you do need to be opened minded in order to truly enjoy this book. Now I am about as opened minded as they come ( no pun intended lol) and I enjoyed every single freaking minute of it.

First you get not one but two... HOT ASS MEN... it's like two for the price of one! You get Alpha male, funny, sensitive, caring, overwhelmingness, sexyness, hotness, hugeness (LOL) abs, muscles etc etc all in one freaking book with two men.. TWO!

Sigh.. okay okay okay now that I got that out of the way, this book was great, the guys in the book were great they provided just the right amount of everything to enjoy their characters. I will say that I leaning towards Jackson.. I liked both the characters and THANK GOODNESS she didn't have to pick between the two but Jackson just gave me a little more "feelings" and then he is built like the hulk... or I should say I pictured Jason momoa when I thought of his character and that is a big ass man..

So without that being said, I will def be telling a friend, to tell a friend, who I am sure will tell a few friends about this book. I wish I could have provided a little more on this review but I am legit lost for words... who would have thought... ME lost for words "super clap to the author"

Signing off... Why just why can't these situations really exist.

The title lived up to the story!

These three leading characters took it all the way there! Cute story with hot romance! Nice to read a story I don't quite understand the why but through the author's words I enjoyed a sexy journey!

I like most of Ms. Turners books and I was liking this until I found out that Xander let his sister down I know people are going to judge me but I feel like this should be said. Xander knew all the time that his sister was into his best friend I feel like he should have told Jackson so that he could have told Beth a long time ago that he only thought of her as a sister that way she could have been over the thinking that she was going to be with him. I’m not saying that what she did was right but I feel like all of that could have been avoided had they just address it sooner and it pissed me off because Xander didn’t care that his sister got hurt and it seems as though the rest of her family didn’t either. I just glad that nothing bad happened to Beth you like her hurting herself or getting into an accident when she was driving to Tracy’s house crying cause I’m sure that’s what happened and what was with Xander acting like he was gon jump on his sister cause some pussy. When family is there when love isn’t especially a love that was only two weeks old ugh. Just disappointed and maybe it’s because me and siblings are so tight that I couldn’t see my brother turning on me like that.

I liked it but.....

Simone’s character makes no sense. There is no way, absolutely no way unless you lived in a convent for a 28 year old city dwelling adult to be so innocent. I’m not talking about the virgin thing, but she is a nurse so should have seen and heard so many things not to mention ER doctors, emts, nurses are some the raunchiest oversexed people ever and see raunchy stuff just in their daily work. Finally she lived in a city where stuff is all around. So her doe-eyes innocence of all things was really fake and unrealistic to me. She was also quite unpleasant and quick to judgment which also irked the heck out of me. I wish she got to spend more time with her family and there some more realistic conflicts at play but the book was super hot

This book was borderline creepy for me

I almost stopped reading this book very early on. The plotting, the coercion of Simone this sheltered virgin with so many other things going on. I was uncomfortable reading some borderline date rapey initiation sex in the early phase of this quick happening romance. The story and tine line was kind of unbelievable for me. The further the story went with many aspects were just not believe able. For a triad with the heroine being who she was, this was just unbelievable and felt wrong. I usually love Twyla's books, but this was disappointing for me. The 2 stars came from the 2 intensely hot guys😋. But the rest of the story was a no for me

I love it when you surprise your readers

I love this book. I love how you how you gave sweet and innocent and then fire and ice. Si was smart and shy but with some backbone. I laughed how she threw the ex that didn't want to leave out the door. This story made my week. I enjoy reading this book. Yes, there was some mistakes but that didn't take away from the story. I wish it was longer but that is ok for i want to know Amber's story now. I want to know if she and Ethan get together or she find love somewhere else for she is wild an need just the right man for her that can tame her wild side. I look forward to your next book. A fan aways of your work.

Three's a company!!

Intense

Xander and Jackson are best friends that enjoy doing things yogether, adult things.

Simone dies not think she can be attracted to men and moves through life not expecting too.

Simone goes to Alaska to meet her mother's family. She is staying in the lodge that is owend by Xander and Jackson......instant attraction.

Jackson and Xander jnow who they want and why. But, it tak3s time to tell Simone about their intentions.

Simone is willing, but there is another person jealous about not having Jackson's attention. This person cause problems that the trio have to work through.

THR3E is an AWSOME number

I loved how this story showed how the insecurities that we place on ourselves can hold us back from enjoying what this world has to offer. In Si case it was the love of two men who needed her innocence just has must has she did by holding on to it. Twyla, has really out down herself with this one. This shows you that love can be explored in many ways and who's to say what is defined as normal. Xan & Jac make you want to leave the lower 48 and head as far north as possible. EXCELLENT READ!!!

Wow!!!!! This is very spicy! I'm normally not at all interested in this scenario but I thought to myself, It's Twyla Turner and her HEAs are phenomenal SO let's try New things. I tried this different type of love, alternative coupling, and I loved it. I actually wish the story could continue but I want them all to live happily, together, forever so a Book #2 would only bring disruptions. Great read. A can't miss. It's a bit shocking and deliciously graphic but as long as you're open minded about the lives of others you'll enjoy this beautiful, sexy love story.

Did I like the story, yes. Did I like the plot,it was meh. I love a story with a good plot, although it had one it didnt take much thinking to.write this book, 95% was all about sexual positions between three people, and the real story line of why Simone went to Alaska was lost. The last couple of chapters were the best because finally you could find out about her family. I am not sure if I would attempt another book from this author, who knows maybe I would. Definitely the sex scenes were plentiful.

Thank you

I loved the way Simone found her family and found true love. You don’t books like this everyday. I really appreciate that you captivated every character’s past. It showed why what was going on and how they would respond to situations. I didn’t like how you made Simone seem stupid about how she feels. I wished that this story had more of a bigger person than the typical small waist, pretty face, thick thighs and fat ass. But overall I love this story I hope to find more stories like it in the future. Thank you and I hope you write more stories like this!!!

I absolutely loved this book! It was really sweet and romantic despite its erotic nature. I really liked all the characters and their individual characters were written very well. It was interesting seeing the dynamics between the three and how their relationship would work and I actually hope there’s a sequel to see how their relationship progresses. This is my first book by twyla and definitely won’t be my last. It’s nice reading a book not written in 3rd person too as not many IR authors write that way

Soooooo. Freaking. Amazing and Hot! 🔥 🥵 😍

I never felt such an overwhelming bout of jealousy for Simone and her incredible relationship with Jax & Xander. I had to take deep breaths. Such an amazing well paced story with the shy Simone growing into the feisty woman she was destin to be and the love Jax & Xander deserved to have. This was scorching hot yet their gentle touch with her made it soooo freaking amazing!!!! Oh Twyla!!!! Your writing is so amazing and I look forward to more!

Threesome

Not bad, not great. Decent character and world building. Some of the plot conflicts are blown through rather quickly and the level of “innocence/ignorance” of the MWC is unbelievable. A 29 year old virgin? Believable. A 29 year old shy, virgin? Believable. A 29 year old, shy, nerdy/bookish, virgin? Believable. A 29 year old, shy, nerdy/bookish, virgin who has never had an orgasm? Unbelievable. A 29 year old, shy, nerdy/bookish, virgin who has never had an orgasm and is an RN? Stop it. Nonetheless, it was an enjoyable read.

Three for 3

If you want steamy hot pornographic sexy scenes, then this book is for you. The chemistry between Simone, Jackson and Xander is undeniable. However, Simone is more like a teenager when it comes to relationships than an adult woman. I didnt care for her naive and gullible persona. It made her child like at times. She couldn’t be that unaware of herself at her age.

Despite that I would recommend it to my reading friends!

Happy Reading!

Ok book. Terrible female character.

I. Hate. Simone. She is such a weak, passive woman. She has to broadcast constantly that she isn't interested in men. Who does that? For a woman who accomplished what she did and lived through what she did, she is pathetic. The friend was annoying and meaningless. The rest was fine.
