May 18, 2022Wow, what a fascinating trilogy! I was often on the edge of my seat and especially liked the ending.
I kept thinking how great it would be to see this as a movie or TV show one day!

Excellent conclusion to an exciting & thrilling series.
Enjoy the ride as the tension mounts and hang on tight until all the pieces come crashing together for an epic ending to the trilogy.
I have to give this book (and all 3) high praise for the work that must of gone into the research. With the turn of every page I was astounded by the facts, insight and technical detail surrounding the military and navy seal narrative. You can tell the author did his homework and cut no corners making this story as believable and realistic as possible.
The only strike I can give this book is that in some places it is almost too realistic. I am always the first to knock off points when a story goes for over the top dramatics and everything seems contrived, but there are a few places in this story I feel the story could have almost had a tiny bit more of that. I don't want one guy unbelievably beating up an army of 50 (without a scratch) just as the timer on the bomb hits zero, but looking back some of the drama and action had great build but then a very realistic conclusion without "Hollywood flare."
In real life of course, every character (even the main character) can not be a part of everything happening in the story. Unfortunately this "real life" approach at times kept some characters out of the lime light a little too long for my taste. I really enjoyed the wide assortment of characters and never felt like the story dragged when it switched around from one secondary character to the next but looking back I wish a few of the major characters had a little more "screen time." This would have helped the story be a little bit more of "Falcon's Story" as opposed to being a "Story about Falcon."
In conclusion it's a great exciting read with real heroes real adventure and real drama.

Falcon Strike it the exciting conclusion to the Falcon trilogy.
C H Cobb keeps the reader on the edge of their seat wondering how this trilogy will draw to a close. You do not want to miss this page turning tale of espionage set in the 1980's.
