When children in LA are abducted with few clues and no ransom, FBI agent Blake Wilder and her team are asked to fly in to investigate.
Upon arrival, Blake coordinates with the LAPD Juvenile Division. Five children, ages three to five, have gone missing over recent months, and LAPD has gotten nowhere. The fear is that the children are being trafficked.
The team begin reviewing footage of the areas where the kids were taken and notice a few individuals who appear more than once. But with scant leads and only dead ends, only frustration mounts.
While the investigation continues, threats are made against the team’s loved ones. Blake frantically calls Ayad in the Seattle FO, begging for personnel to protect them. Unable to get help, Blake is beside herself, turning to Fish and asking him to watch over their families.
With danger presenting itself around every corner, the team grows more desperate by the second. To save the missing children and the ones they love, Blake and her team must do the unthinkable. Confront two monstrous threats head on.

A fantastic series full of intense, complex, and intriguing cases that will hook you from beginning to end. This story was heartbreaking, tragic, and emotionally charged, as all cases regarding children are. Being pulled into the cases so much later than normal, it makes it even more challenging for Blake and her team to figure out what's going on, as well as trying to find the children alive. It's certainly not a story or series to be missed!
I do have to say that I'm really not liking the cliffhangers that the last few books have had. What makes it even worse is that it's taking longer to get the next release, and by then I've already forgotten what it was about. Cliffhangers have always been something that I dislike immensely. I would much rather have stories begin and end in the same book, without having sneak peeks into the next story. JMO!!
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.
No Ranso.(Blake Wilder FBI Mystery Thriller Book 30)
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This book was so over the top amazing and truly scary and so real. It is very scary when innocent children are being abducted and the police can't find any trace of where they are. The police department decided to call in the FBI, which is Blake's team, and they work it hard, they take 2 very bad men off the street but are still no closer to finding the missing children. They keep working and eventually catch a drug dealer, who gets them one step closer to finding them, then they catch another bad guy, who gives them more information and also helps them catch someone else. Then the domino's fall and they catch everyone involved. It took a very long time to catch these people, but they finally did and families got their happily ever after. I can't wait to read the next book.
I have read all of the Blake Wilder series and most all Elle Gray’s books. This was absolutely one of my favorites. It was extremely action packed, and the new characters they brought to his story were great as well.. It definitely leave you waiting for the next book in the series . Don’t miss out check out this book and if you haven’t read the Blake Wilder series, Definitely go check it out , as well as all of her books.. you will never be disappointed !
Blake Wilder and her team are called in to solve the mystery of young children disappearing. You can feel the tension with them as it takes some time to find some leads. But her team digs in until they finally start putting things together. In the meantime Blake and her sidekick Astra get threatening messages about their family members. Blake ends up calling on her old friend Fish to help with watching over their family members while they are on this case. This is another page turner by Elle Gray.
This was a new experience, especially when children are involved and the team is hit with personal threats. I wasn't expecting the big wigs for help with the teams family's threats.
I hate that we are dealing with trafficking children, and those who are supposed to protect them are the culprits. I figured Blake would reach out to Fish, but Sonny really. Can't wait for the next book....

30 books in this series and I can't wait for 31. This is one of my very favorite series and I can only hope I'll be reading 30 more. If you haven't read these yet, start with book 1. There is suspense, humor, real life struggles that will pull at your heart strings. So good. So very good.
I tend to pull on my hair when stress reading. I think I might be bald soon. This one had many twists and turns, bumps and bruises. The team really brought their A game on this case. If you haven't read any of this series before, read this. Then you will want to go back and start at book one, read them all.
As always, Elle Gray does a phenomenal job! This latest Blake Wilder & crew story is fast-moving and exciting. Juggling an assignment and her personal challenge lends itself to an 'extra edge'. I didn't see the ending coming, but am anxious for the next installment.
Trafficking kids is tough stuff, and yes, teens are kids. I need astra and Benjamin to move to the next step. I’m not a huge Sonny fan but his fate at the end of this is ominous. Blake is a magnet for trouble and has quite the ego, but she does get the job done
An excellent continuation of a great story line. Ms Gray tells an excellent and interesting story. I hope she continues with the Blake Wilder FBI series. Ms Gray is one of the few authors I am willing to pay the full price for her books.
As always Blake and her team are called into some really riveting cases, their ribbing and banter between each other shows you just how much of a family they are and how well they work together to solve their cases. I really look forward to their next case.
I have truly enjoyed the Elle Gray, Blake Wilder series. I have read all of them. I did miss having less interaction with Fish. He is one of my favorite characters. I love how detailed she describes everything, characters included.
This was an awesome story about Blake and team looking for who is stealing young children and finding out and solving it with lots of suspense and action. Thank you for this great story.
