Okay but I didn't see the cover until after the book had been read and I was starting on this review. I have to pull the cover to show all you pretty people what it looks like for every book. That is when I saw the purple clown. I am not making fun of this book at ALL, but the cover, yes and I will admit to it.

Down to the nitty gritty, I actually really enjoyed this novella of sorts. It is short, but it has so much going on in its meager pages that I was personally blown away. The depth and character development that Kenneth was able to squeak out while telling a story is great. I read it in one sitting and it scared me, I mean there were points that really scared me, but the overall plot and theme were solid and well thought out. This book could have been a full length and he could have easily meandered on about the main characters and how they were feeling and etc etc etc but he didn't. He got to the point, hit you on the head with it and then ran over to the next point yelling at you to follow and I like this novella for that purpose.

So other than the cover this is a great book, and my opinion if you don't like clowns, just download it on kindle and skip the cover. There are NO CLOWNS in this book, and sadly no clowns were hurt in the making of this book. What? I really hate clowns, well male clowns, female clowns I can be around for short amounts of time.

- and no I did not mark down the book for aforementioned clown cover.

The book is written in two parts. The first part is my attempt at creating the scariest, creepiest haunted house story I could. The second part introduces a character inspired by reality shows, such as Ghost Hunters, but with a superhero twist. It's a short read, just under 23000 words, which makes it a short novella. Enjoy.
