My Craziest Adventures With God - Volume 1: The Spiritual Journal of a Former Atheist Paramedic

Rate this book
Does God speak today? Would He heal the sick or work miracles through you—even if you feel “average” or not particularly gifted? Not long ago, Praying Medic was an average guy who sat in a church pew every Sunday wondering if there was more to the Christian life than this. After losing his job, being divorced and being kicked out of his church, it seemed like his entire world was going up in flames. Then one night in a dream, God asked him to pray for his patients. When he awoke in the morning he knew nothing would ever be the same. Come along on these intriguing adventures as an ordinary paramedic confronts his own skepticism and fear and learns how to hear the voice of God. Get to know Praying Medic, the author, right from the stories in his personal spiritual diary. Watch as he learns how to pray for his patients and for strangers in the marketplace. You may find yourself laughing one minute and crying the next as God’s goodness and sense of humor are revealed in these true stories. And you’ll witness the transformational power of God as it changes a hardened skeptic into a man of real faith. These true stories won’t just encourage you—they’ll act as a guidebook on how to live daily in the fullness of God’s kingdom.

This book continues the simple readability and examples that are in his other books, don't miss reading any of them !!! The steps he documents demonstrate what Jesus said in His Biblical teachings!!

I enjoyed reading these short stories about a medic,(who also used to be an atheist), praying for healing for the many people he encountered in his work and daily life.

I thought his take on the bizarre and controversial appearance of gold dust in church services was interesting. (Those who claim it's being put in air vents to deceive people may want to check this book out).

Reading these stories does encourage ones faith to believe that God does still heal and we CAN expect Him to continue to do so.

I love the real life tetimonies in this book. In reality, when we pray for someone to be heale, it does not always manifest immediately; but that does not mean that the encounter was not beneficial. Sometimes the healing will come after a short time, but people always appreciate love and concern for them and the fact that someone stopped to show love.

Great,Great Book!!!!

This book will changed your mind about the healing power of Jesus. I always thought only healing preachers could do this. I was wrong. Anyone it seems with the faith of God can do it!!! I cannot wait to read his other books and grow in the Lord.
