The tasks are getting more challenging, and the first one wasnt exactly easy. I can't say that they're not fun though.

We're all feeling hopeful that we're going to be able to get the necklace off Kylen and free Coen but getting it is going to be a challenge in itself.

I shouldn't be surprised when the Choosing starts behaving like it never has before, and we're left scrambling to figure out what it means.

And when the results are in, they send us reeling, giving us more questions than answers. Again.

So much has happened, and we don’t know what it all means yet. Our new gifts are going to take some time to understand, and my new magic is behaving about as well as I do.

We thought that we would get at least a week off before we had to deal with anything, but of course, that’s not how it works, and complications start to be thrown at us almost the minute we get home.

Adjusting to having an entirely new team member is going to be difficult, especially since we’re all mad as hell at the way he has been treated and how simple things are making him light up.

I guess any hope of a break after the Choosing was a little bit farfetched anyway.

I enjoyed this book. I like the writer. I do wish nearly all the men didn’t have R names - I am struggling to distinguish them in my brain, and I don’t actually know how many men are in her harem, despite them all being different supernaturals. They are just a big bucket of R men. She did this in Finding my Home as well, lot of J men. I expected it to be easier with the different supernaturals but it isn’t.

This is absolutely fantastic series with a cast of the best characters. The plot is well paced and also gives the characters time to develop. Can't wait for more.
