This is an excellent true middle grade novel. The main character is in 6th grade, and the storyline is very appropriate for that age. No language, no adult content. Strong morals and life lessons. It even has discussion questions throughout the novel. This is a perfect novel for every middle school classroom library, and sports fans are sure to enjoy it.
