Architect Tasha has to work harder and longer to be taken seriously by her sexist boss. No wonder she feels like a pressure cooker ready to explode!
But working late every night Tasha has found some very creative ways to relieve that pressure once her co-workers have left for the day. Far from taking orders - in her steamy fantasies Tasha is the one issuing instructions and her fellow (smuggest!) architect Ethan Hall has to do her bidding!
Then one night, Ethan catches Tasha in the act. Tasha’s sure Ethan will use the discovery to sink her career so she’s stunned, then thrilled, when he promises to make her secret fantasies a red-hot reality...

"Guilty Pleasures" by Jane O'Reilly
What I liked about the novel...
I liked how this author gave the reader some read of Tasha and Ethan. We find Tasha messing around in her office doing some dark erotic things to herself and what happens? Tasha is caught by a co worker...Ethan and from that this story will becomes quite a read of these two. Do they want to be caught doing all of this kinkiness in the work areas they had chosen? In this short erotica novel you will get a well written read as they explore their sexual pleasures with a lots of exhibitionism along the way and in the end what happens? This is where I say you will have to pick up this novel and see for yourself. So, if you are looking for a hot naughty erotica romance "Guilty Pleasure" will be a read for you.
Let's see...sex, more sex, page of other stuff, sex, sex, watching people have sex, couple more pages of her, sex, sex, stuff about him, sex, end. I really got nothing else to say.
Hot smexing at the office stories are always fun and good but I was disappointed that it lacked the romance, sweetness and fun of The Pleasure Principle. The way the H and h said "I love you" to each other really threw me, too.
Jane O'Reilly has been a favorite of mine since picking up her Indecent... trilogy last year. She's got a completely matter of fact feminism and sex-positivity to her books that appeals to me on a visceral level even if the particular kink or sexual dynamic she's exploring isn't one I'm especially interested in. Guilty Pleasure, which is the first book in this linked set (though they can definitely be read as stand-alones because I accidentally read them out of order) held more personal appeal than the second book, The Pleasure Principle, but both books were quick, sexy, satisfying erotic romance reads.
Guilty Pleasure brings together two coworkers, Tasha and Ethan, rival architects at the same firm. Tasha works harder than any of the male architects to stay in the same place and, to be honest, it's stressing her out. So much so that she allows herself a little indulgence at the end of every work day--masturbating at her desk. The idea of possibly getting caught is a huge turn-on for her. And when she eventually does get caught, it's by Ethan. A scene ensues the next day involving her giving him a blowjob that could have been manipulative and creepy, but the sly way it was written made it instead titillating and erotic. It's clear that Tasha is enjoying herself despite that she finds it slightly outrageous and slightly dirty (in a good way). Their romance ramps up quickly, spending a weekend together engaged in various semi-public sex acts. But when they head back to work, Tasha has a negative interaction with a client that I mention for folks with workplace sexual harassment triggers. It all works out in the end though, leaving both Tasha and Ethan better off both personally and professionally.
Both Guilty Pleasure and The Pleasure Principle worked for me for the same reason Ava Lovelace/Delilah Dawson's erotic romance works for me. Sometimes it's just nice to know that no matter what awful, dangerous, sexist situation an author gets her characters into, she's always going to get them out. There is no ambiguity here, only straight-forward, woman-centric sex acceptance. I love it.
This was cute in a thoroughly kinky way. Tasha is a very driven woman who works harder than all the men in her office, trying to prove that she’s every bit as good as they are. The fact that Ethan is able to work even harder than she does is seriously annoying, but she gets her own back by messing around in her office. Until Ethan catches her – and they discover a mutual appreciation of risk-taking.
Since the prospect of getting caught excites both of them so much, they embark on a series of kinky encounters while they explore their mutual fascination. Some of these moments are hotter than others, and I’ll admit I liked the other book – the Pleasure Principle – a lot more, since this book is all about the sex with a few sudden outside character developments being dropped at certain moments.
It’s a short, sexy read with fun and frolics galore, exploring sexual confidence and kinky pleasures with plenty of exhibitionism along the way. If you like your books quick and dirty without much else, then this one’s for you.

Ethan and Tasha start the game of cat and mouse. But no one else knows their part of their game. You see the thrill is in the possibility of getting caught in a sexual act. The thing is the author whom I love, she wrote “She Who Dares,” is book it took me till 10% in to engage with it. Although much of this is of their sexual escapades are over the top for me so I just skipped it. What I did like was that I didn’t stop and that I actually found the story within of a real couple. One who needed to cut loose and one who needed to cut back. In each other they were able to find that happy medium. For me I felt it had issues combining a story with the erotica smoothly at first. I found it rather uncomfortable at the first 10% of the book. Until she meets Ethan and their one on one. I give this book 3 stars. Provided by Net Galley Follow us at: www.1rad-readerreviews.com

Short and Erotic-novella style read
Full of Heat, Full of Fire-Ethan and Tasha are so alike. Both need a rush of danger to get the “juices” going for them. They are into exhibitionism and voyeurism. Story starts out with Tasha flicking the bean at work and getting busted by Ethan, her boss. Next, shows Tasha giving Ethan a “blowjob” at work, then he is using his hand to, well, using his hand in a certain manner in her body. And it isn’t what you or I would do…
What I did love, what got me going was the super-hot British guy who is into voyeurism and recklessness and HOT SEX. Also likes to say “I love you”. Only thing is…story is too short. Need more story. As for Tasha- really couldn’t peg her down. Ethan seemed to be more of the main character – the WHOLE in this story.
Ethan and Tasha are perfect for each other both say what's on their minds and don't hold back, "I lift my drink, sip a little. "Because I really need your fingers inside me right now." Ethan he's a tad bit more reserved, sometimes only says one word sentences but let that boy text and the gates open, "I wish I'd effed you already. I wish you were sitting there with my come slowly sliding out of you, thinking about me." You know you got your man where you want him when he forgets the conversation you were having, "what?" Ethan replies, which I suppose is understandable, given that I'm currently stroking his balls." I liked this book, I can't wait for Cal's.
Review at www.bookcrack.com. Guilty Pleasure is definitely THAT...with a bit of kink, voyeurism, and "hope we don't get caught" making former office adversaries fall hard and fast in and out of the office. I especially LOVE when an author can shock me a bit by taking a romance trope and making it feel fresh, forbidden... even if it's just because it's SUPER NAUGHTY! This is a suspend disbelief, insanely HOT novella that I just couldn't put down.
I love a seemingly uptight British man in a suit and Ethan Hall with his sudden love of voyeurism and recklessness really turned my crank! Jane O'Reilly keep these coming! Looking forward to her next 3 novellas for sure.
Guilty Pleasure was full of heat and eroticism. The book starts off with Tasha double clicking her mouse, so to speak. And she's doing this while at work, where anyone can walk in and witness this. Speaking of walking in, Ethan walks in and gets quite a show. Let's just say this book only gains momentum and continues to heat up the pages. It's not all sex though. Both Ethan and Tasha have issues they need to work through. I thought Ethan was a great character and for someone who doesn't say a lot of words, he sure is dirty. I loved Ethan and Tasha together and it was really great watching them fall in love with each other.
Nothing like jumping into the main purpose of this story.........I loved this short narrative. Again...the only issue I have with this author is how short & sweet her stories are. I really wish that there were more story to read. PLEASE, Jane, I beg you to write a full length book. Your characters are great & easy to understand......the setup for the sex scenes very steamy & interaction between characters was fantastic. I wasn't a great fan of the dialogue between the two, but overall it was still fantastic. I loved how you incorporated a new couple & added a little nod to the characters from the Pleasure Principle...... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Ummmm. Wow. This one made me blush more than just about another other book I've read. It was hot and kinky...but the way they threw themselves at each other was too much like insta-love...and then it turned into insta-love! I'm ranking it high because O'Reilly clearly knows her way around a love scene, but in terms of actual story, there was a lot of room for improvement.
I loved this sexy story of Tasha and Ethan. It was erotic and emotional and almost nonstop sex! I liked seeing Cal involved in the book (although I read them out of order). Tasha was so concerned with keeping up in a man's world, and Ethan was fighting his own demons, it was lovely to see them fall in love, and have a happy ending, with tons of sex along the way.
Ah Ethan was definitely a pleasurable surprise. It's those quiet ones you gotta watch out for :) Tasha got caught being naughty and had to pay the price. Though I know she wasn't too disappointed by it. It was honestly a HAWT book. Though they arrived at their "I love you."s a little fast, I'm still not mad at ya, Jane lol
An interesting novella. I'm not sure I would have picked it to read if it hadn't been recommended to me, as I don't usually read erotica. I was however surprised at the amount of depth O'reilly was able to bring into her characters. I'd definitely recommend it to any erotica reader!
HOT novella. super sexy times. storyline/romance seemed secondary. situations were uncomfortable for me but edgy (and one scene in which i went NOT WITHOUT LUBE YOU DON'T!!!!!).
