Cassius McAllister is preparing to open the first resort for the family's chain of hotels and he is determined to make it the best vacation spot in Jamaica, which means everything has to be perfect. While searching for a head chef for the resorts main restaurant, he gets way more than he bargained for in Jillian King. Not only is she just what he is looking for in a chef, she may be something he didn't know he was looking for in a woman....Jillian is passionate about food and cooking. Her dream of becoming a head chef comes true when she is suggested to run Paragon at the Lillian Resort and Hotel. The location of the resort is something out of a fantasy! And so her new boss, Cassius. Both Cassius and Jillian are focused on their careers, but eventually they find themselves not only heating things up in the kitchen, but also heating up the Jamaican nights...
It was just an ok read for me. Another HEA for Jillian King and Cassius McAllister. Pretty much the same familiar formula but a different location in the world. Jamaica🇯🇲. I guess the author Te' Russ sticks to what works for this series. I gave the book 2.9 stars.
I really enjoyed the way this love story progressed from beginning to end . I loved the fact that Cassius took his time perusing Jillian even though it was driving him crazy. Jillian’s surprise visitor just made the story that more entertaining. The story is worth reading unfortunately there are some editing /Typos issues that have to be overlooked
I am not only enjoyed this book, but every book I have read so far in this series! Te Russ tells an entertaining story from the first page to the last. Perfection was one of my favorites so far. I am glad they all find love and marriage. I mean, that is the goal for most, right? Great book!
The characters and setting were wonderful! It seemed that even though they were in Jamaica it wasn’t taken advantage of which for me was a disappointment! Why have this exotic place and not take advantage of it🤷🏽♀️! The love scenes once they start late in the book are sub par and leave EVERYTHING to the imagination which is also a disappointment!😞
Never say never, Cassius didn’t wanted to get marry, until Jill came along, love the way he loved her, and that blindfolded was 👌🏾Was Jill trying to gave Cassius a heart attack? With that purple corset 👋🏾 that’s right go girl. Connie driving Drew crazy 😝
The author has not disappointed with this story. The coming together of Saa and Jill was a steamy and sweet surprise that gave all kind of dreamy plans to the reader.
No matter what you think is right, don’t let the right person get away from you and please don’t run away from him . True love will always show up and show outv
Whew, Cassius and Jill were sexy as hell! Loved the build up to them finally getting it on. Once they got started, it was hot, hot hot! Once again, I'm loving the McAllisters. Can't wait to see the sparks fly between Drew and Connie!
Like part 1 and 2 of this series, NO Originality. I do love the plots and how the couples end up being together but again it's the same thing with each book. Nobody is looking for love, all about their careers,, fall madly in love but scared to be in the relationship, the girl is stubborn, the guy fights for her, they end up together and married super quick. This couple actually held out a bit longer than the couples in books 1 and 2, however it was still a super quick relationship. Book 1, 2, and 3 are like reading the exact same book but the author changed the names and their occupations. Overall is was a decent read just NO originality.
You always think that two career driven people would never work. However, as the cliche goes, you make time for what you want. Jill and Cass relationship was a slow burn. It was the perfect build up. You appreciate the chemistry and the foundation. I definitely appreciated Cass passionate side. He was the epitome of an Adonis. Jillian after releasing her shell let nature take its course. Jillian and Cass had a modern-day romantic, thus this is my favorite story of the McAllister series. Looking forward to Connie and Drew's story
Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and will share with my friends. Unfortunately there were several missed words throughout the book. I've never seen that many errors before in a book. Definitely need to do better on the proofreading before going to print.
