I got this book long ago, but have enjoyed it since. It's great for anyone interested in hair. It covers all the basics-hair type, pampering your hair, cutting, dying, how to deal with damage, etc... It also gives information on less basic hair tips (like extentions, choosing a hair stylist, and caring for your hair when pregnant). Of course, all the tips on how to do certain hair styles are not as easy as he makes it seem. He is a professional, and I am not!

He is very descriptive and engaging. I just wish the book was longer or had a prequel. Also he never really explained type 4 hair in the hair type section, but kinda in the rest of the book. He's an excellent hair stylist. Wish I could hire him!
