Key features of this book
Beginner-friendly explanationsIllustrative code snippetsEmphasis on clean syntax and good coding practicesCoding tasks for hands-on learningBy the end of the book, you will be confident in writing functional Java programs and be well-prepared for more advanced topics covered in Volume 2.
This is a very informative book on Java, but unfortunately that's not enough for an educational book. I've coded before, and had no problem following, but beginners will probably fall off at the first lines of coding. And I'm afraid young people will look for easier tools, but that's not the authors' fault.
