SHORT EXCERPT: From “Introduction”
“WE HAVE AN INFLAMATION CRISIS IN THIS COUNTRY.

It is the key driver for almost all diseases in the United States, and it is ruining millions of lives.

Take Mary, for instance—one of the first patients I saw. As soon as she walked into my office with her husband, Mary broke down. She told me, as the tears streamed down her face, ‘Dr. Redd, I’m at the end of my rope. If you can’t fix me, I don’t know how I can live anymore.’ I dug a little into her situation and found out that her life had deteriorated to the point where she spent most of her time resting, owing to exhaustion. She couldn’t was the dishes, cook meals, enjoy time with her children, play a board game with her spouse, or even read a book. Her quality of life was quickly approaching zero. She had been told by all her doctors that she was normal, that she was aging or was depressed, but unfortunately, none of their remedies worked. Why? Because she was suffering from an autoimmune condition that the doctors failed to detect.”

4 stars.
