Honestly a very fun and spicy quick novella. It was fun and I actually do think I will read the rest of the series to see what happens next!

Under One Roof is Book 1 of Under One Roof. It's a short and steamy, friends-to-lovers, forced-proximity, reverse harem romance. Izzy, Henry, Chris, and Theo are all friends. The guys are all in love with Izzy and waiting for her to choose one, but she has feelings for them all. When they end up all living together, things get more complicated as tensions and feelings run high. This was a steamy story full of hot chemistry and a happy ending after some drama.

Izzy is turning twenty-eight, and she’s feeling a bit stuck. On the bright side, she’s not alone in that feeling; a good vent session with friends always helps, and Chris, Theo, and Henry have been her best friends since ninth grade. Knowing they’re all feeling frustrated with renting, Theo suggests they buy a house together. He might have been joking initially, but the more they mull it over, the more it actually starts to sound like a good idea. Before Izzy knows it, she’s not only a home owner, but is living with all her best friends. Moving in is a bit hectic, and it’s going to take some time to settle in, especially since they are renovating at the same time, but it’s going to be great. Izzy, Chris, Theo, and Henry have always gotten along well, and living with each other isn’t going to change that; Izzy will make sure of it, because none of them can afford for it to.

This was a super quick, low stakes, fluffy read. The characters weren’t super developed, but with the brevity of the narrative they didn’t need to be. At times the pacing did feel a bit rushed, especially toward the end, but again, it’s a really quick read. This is perfect for when you just need something light hearted, sweet, and easily digestible; no cheating, no third act break up, and a cute HEA.

They all love her and, although they have never said it out loud, they are waiting for her to choose who she wants to be with.

Izzy loves all three men, the same but for different reasons. Choosing between them is not something she can do without being afraid of losing the others. So she hasn't. But things change after the four buy a house together and are in each others space every day. They are no longer able to fight the inevitable.

In the afterword, Wilde describes writing the book as "equal parts messy, tender, and wildly hot". That definitely comes through while reading it. Mila Wilde is quickly becoming an author to frequent my to be read list, and this book was no exception.

I thought it was charming especially with how it started with them talking about getting a house together and splitting the mortgage and putting money together for a down payment. Chris, Theo, and Henry and Izzy had been friends for so long that they all felt that it was only natural for their feelings to turn into something more especially since they were all finally under one roof. They are all kind of what each other needs to be whole and for their group to stay a family while Izzy maybe the glue that keeps everyone together, they may never find another person or group that makes them feel loved like they do in this family that made a long time ago. I finished this book pretty quickly so I may have to do a reread, but I think for my first read through it's about 4.5 stars because I kind of feel like I missed some information when I was reading.

All three guys are quietly in love with Izzy but keep it to themselves to avoid disrupting the group dynamic, while Izzy struggles with her own feelings for each of them, unsure and a little guilty. When they decide to buy a house together, the forced proximity brings everything simmering under the surface to a boil.

Despite the book being very short, the clever use of shared history makes the progression of their relationships feel natural rather than rushed. The characters are not deeply developed, but I was impressed by how distinct each of the three men still felt, and how clearly their individual bonds with Izzy came through.

Overall, it’s a lighthearted, quick read, I would have loved if it had been a little longer!.

The guys all orbit around the FMC … she is their glue but there is tension. Unrequited feelings .. even harder to ignore under the same roof.

Choosing isn’t an option for her .. but can it really work? The only angst is the inner turmoil each has as the relationships collide and choices need to made.

A group of four friends buys a house together (since the economy sucks and no one can afford housing) but turns out three of them have been in love with the fourth their whole lives and no one wanted to upset the balance. The perfect opening for the question, 'why choose?'

I was skeptical about how so much could be done in a novella but it was a decent one. The character development was a little short but still there, I wish we could've seen more of them once they found their stride together but what we got was lots of tension up to lots of spice. Good quick why choose read.

Wow! Another great Mila Wilde book!! Great development of story and characters! Ms. Wilde had some great sentences in the book that just really made the story and really stood out to me. More of a cinnamon roll type book with some spice than all spice but so worth the read. I couldn't put the book down because it was so enjoyable and I couldn't wait to see how it ended. The Epilogue (and Epilogue 11) were just amazing and just awe inducing.

Izzy ,Theo,Chris and Henry really loved each other as best friends but they also had unrequited romantic love. The men loved Izzy since they were 15 years old. She loved them just as long and was afraid to act on it for fear of losing them. Feelings get heated and they did not know how to make things right. It takes a lot of trust and working towards what is best for Izzy who wants all three. Their relationship might not be what society thinks is normal, but it works for them.

I was expecting something similar to Credence by Penelope Douglas, and until the end I hope that she would pick just one (Henry, of course) or that we would know who was the baby father (still hoping for Henry).
It was light read, easy to get into, and I really enjoyed the multiple pov. This is what made the difference for me.

This was a quick read. I wish it was a bit longer with a bit more depth to it, but overall, it was a very good book. I would recommend this book for someone who is looking for a light read . Yes,there are some steamy parts to it, so be warned, but if you're looking at books like this, that is one you. But the ending is a good happy ending overall.

The plot was simple and straightforward. World building was excellent and well developed. The characters were so very appealing and likeable and perfectly steamy together. All in all a great read! Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

Such a great book. Much shorter than the others of hers I've read but still so much angst, turmoil and eventually an hea! The characters were all so likeable with different personalities that were perfect together. Best friends since 9th grade and all deeply in love but too terrified to mess up their friendship. This was such a nice, sweet love story between Izzy and her three best friends. It's got a great HEA but with spicy spice!

It's a great read. It's like a warm and romantic blanket to wrap around and snuggle with, especially after reading some dark (very dark) romance.
