This resource from Tara-Leigh Cobble is a great addition to the Bible Study books out there for groups and individuals. TLC has gotten so many on board with Bible Recap, and this is a natural "next step" to learning and growing with the Bible. If you're a Bible Recap-er, you'll find connections and familiar things throughout this wonderful resource.

Each week of the study offers teaching and questions that can be done all at once or divided into six days. In true TLC fashion, there is an emphasis on staying consistent with a daily reading of Scripture, which is laid out throughout the guide. There are also opportunities for memorization and action throughout the study. I have spent time in guides similar to this that have a heavy focus on study and theological knowledge, so I really appreciate the opportunity to make Scripture come alive in your life and become "doers of the word, and not hearers only."

The study offers great notes about 1 & 2 Thessalonians. It's not to the extent where you would feel like you were reading a dense commentary, which makes this study approachable to a variety of readers. Along with great notes, thoughtful questions are scattered throughout that offer further contemplation and response to Scripture. There are even opportunities to pull out your Greek lexicon that has been collecting dust on the shelf!

Maps, charts, interactive exercises, prayer prompts, study notes...Tara-Leigh and her team have already provided a wonderful resource with the Bible Recap, and this is yet another wonderful study to add to your library.

If you are studying alone or leading a group, I recommend checking out the Knowing God series from TLC!

If you are looking for a simple and effective way to study the Bible then this Bible study is for you. I have been going through this study for the last few weeks and I love how engaging, intentional, and purposeful this study has been. Tara designed this study in a way that helps all Christians from beginner to mature understand and walk through these two letters of Thessalonians. Each lesson if completed daily only takes about 10 to 15 minutes or it can be done altogether in one session. This study is designed to be conducted in various ways, either individually or with a small group. I used this study individually and daily as part of my daily Bible study and it truly encouraged and enhanced my time with the Lord. I loved that I could study the word and also memorize scripture weekly. Tara incorporates many free study tools such as the Greek Lexicon to help guide you and expand your understanding of Scripture by defining and understanding words in the original language. This study challenged me to learn how to define words in Greek while also increasing my understanding of the different study tools available. I highly recommend this study to any woman who may be looking to increase her understanding of the Bible and how to study it effectively, consistently, and with purpose.

HOPE. One of the most powerful emotions we can experience, and also one that may seem the easiest to lose! In this new 10-week bible study, Tara-Leigh Cobble offers hope in the midst of life's trials. She provides structure and guidance as she explores Paul's words to the church at Thessalonica, making it easy for both new believers and seasoned Christians to understand. Each week in this study features five days of daily Bible readings, scripture memorization, question prompts, and additional resources to increase comprehension. I especially like that it is a workbook, with spaces provided to record my thoughts!

1 & 2 Thessalonians: Hope in the Midst of Trials is part of The Bible Recap Knowing God series. I am using it for my personal devotion time, but it would also be great for group study. I recommend this wonderful resource for anyone who wants to increase their faith and prepare for the return of Christ.

First I want to say I have been using The Bible Recap and I am loving it. I used this 10 week bible study on 1st and 2nd Thessalonians and loved how Tara-Leigh Cobble makes everything less overwhelming and approachable. This bible study helps you dive into the text not just surface level reading...I actually understood each of the verses and how they all paired together rather than just text on paper. I highly recommend any Tara-Leigh Cobble product if you are trying to develop a better understanding of your bible and dive deeper into your relationship with God.

I absolutely love everything Tara-Leigh Cobble puts out! I have been a long time listener of the Bible Recap Podcast, and have journeyed through the Bible with Tara-Leigh each year for several years. But I love the depth we get to explore in this study! Full of wisdom and truth, Tara-Leigh gently leads us to explore something that can often be scary: hope.
