*The Chase is Book 6 in the Juniper Springs series and can be read as a standalone.
I have absolutely loved every single book by AJ Rivers. I really like the first five books of the Juniper Springs mysteries. Just was not into this being more of a romance novel at the end it just didn't quite work for me. That being said, I will continue to read these books by AJ Rivers. Every series of books that have been written have been amazingly good and I was so excited to find this author and like I said I will to read any in every book that comes out. I am looking forward to book 7. And we will see how that turns out. I know that there has been romance in all of the other books in the series, but this one just seemed like way too much for me.
Nicole is a nurse at a rehab facility which has in-house residents and also outside patients. Three of the nurses have been killed. The first was found behind her car in the parking lot. Second was found behind her car at the grocery store. The third blocking a rear door of a restaurant the morning after the grand opening. Why are nurses from that facility being killed? What happened there? Why did Eric (college boyfriend) have to build a restaurant in Juniper Springs? Didn't he have enough of them and live in NY? Avery, Dr Blair, and a few of the others make an appearance like old friends. Great job. Thank you.
Wonderful! At first, I thought my favorite part of this story was going to be the returning characters like Avery and Lance. it wasn't, i loved these 2 new characters. Eric and Nicole, the patients, Tiffany and a few others. the story was good. A nursing home is not a unique setting but it worked well for this story. It was interesting and fast paced. There was a lot going on between the nursing home, restaurant and the diner. I loved each story in this series and it's hard to believe that there have been so many already.
Wow! Never saw that coming! So good to see all the previous characters again. Also very glad that Nicole finally figured it out. Juniper Springs sure is full of intense stories!
This is the best book in the series, and I have enjoyed them all. The characters are so relatable, and the plot keeps you guessing until the end. The entire book leaves you wanting more
I love the plots Rivers weaves, and this is no exception, but the storylines involving impossibly handsome men coming back to town, and reuniting with the "one that got away" , and deciding to stay there,is getting a bit tiresome , and formulaic.
A story of how your early life will form your outlook on life. Success is what you have worked for & acco.plished, even though, it takes decades. Life is worth it
I wonder what sounds footprints make. It seems as though I always read something in these books that should have been caught by an editor. Using the wrong character’s name also occurs more often than it should in these books.
His story was gripping frantic, scary, and lovely. It’s early enjoyed it and read it all in one day. It’s time to get off the couch and do something with my house. Thanks for the great read.
This was a excellent story about Eric and Nicole and their lives coming together as well who is killing people at a nursing home and why with lots of suspense and action. Thank you.
