Twilight Daybreak: Nessie's Story

Rate this book
Born the half vampire daughter of Edward, Renesmee must choose between the love of werewolf Jake, or half vampire Nahual.
After years of a peaceful life with her family, 17 year old Renesmee must face dangerous challenges from Aro's guard and Johan's super-race of half vampires.
A vampire hunter has secretly filmed Renesmee using her superpowers. Renesmee must flee to the Amazon to avoid potential exposure of her vampire powers, and subsequent punishment by Aro's guard.
But Renesmee is not safe yet. The vampire hunter has followed her into the Amazon, along with other enemies. Can her family--Edward, Bell, Alice, Jaspar, Emmett, Esme, Rose and Carlisle--help her escape the powerful forces trying to pull her down?
How can Renesmee decide between two great men, Jake or Nahual? Her heart is breaking. She doesn't want to hurt either one.
Leah is the only known female werewolf. The love of her life is getting married to another woman, that he imprinted on. Leah runs from the pain, only to find that danger waits for her. She must fight a battle for her life, and finds that there may be love yet in store for her.
Throw in Lyssa, who acts like "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer", and Hardison, a Vampire equivalent of the hacker from "Leverage", and you have an enjoyable parody sequel of Twilight "Breaking Dawn", that maintains the spirit of the original Twilight Saga series.

"There they are!" Edward nodded towards a black Ferrari. He could hear his daughter's heartbeat inside.
"It is Renesmee's heartbeat!" Bell spoke with rising hope. "We've found her."
"That's a Vulturee car," said Alice. "I've seen it leaving Vultura."
The Vulturee car flashed past them. Edward could see Demetri driving it. Edward spun his car around, making a dangerous u-turn. Their car fishtailed, then Edward's expert handling got it back under control. He tailed the Vulturee car.
   The Vulturee car sped up.
"Demetri knows we're here," said Edward. "I can read his mind. Renesmee is in the passenger seat. Felix and Santiago are nearby in another car. Dammit! He's calling Vulturee headquarters for reinforcements."
Bell leaned forward and caught a glimpse of Renesmee's bronze hair in the Vulturee car. "We have to move fast before the rest of the Vulturee get here. I'm not losing my daughter again."
"Run them off the road," said Emmett.
"No! Renesmee could be killed." warned Bell.
Emmett quirked his jaw to the side as he thought about it. "She has impregnable skin."
   "She still has bones."
"Alice, get ready to take the wheel." Edward rolled down his driver's side window.
Bell frowned. "Edward, what are you up to?"
"I'll pull up next to the Vulturee car. Alice, keep parallel to their car, and I'll jump over."
Bell eyes were full of worry. "Edward, it's too dangerous."
   "It's for our daughter.

daybreak

Most of TwIlight fans would love to know what happens after Breaking Dawn. We all know that Aro will be back. We want to read of the love developments between Jacob and Renessme. However, this book is poorly written from the beginning, first by calling Bella Bell and the remainder seems to be written by a 6th grader with poor grammar. However, if the story had been written better, the plot is somewhat plausible.

Excellent story

This story picks up after the ending of "Breaking Dawn". Nessie is all grown up and the Volturi are back up to their old tricks. The Cullen clan and their allies tangle with the Volturi to save Nessie. They should make this book into a movie. This is how the twilight saga should end.

As good as the entire Twilight Saga

This is as good as it gets for a sequel written by someone other than Stephenie Meyer herself.
With the exception of a few typos this "parody" sequel is right up there with the rest of the Meyer saga. You can overlook the slight name changes needed to create a parody of the popular series by Stephenie Meyer, because it makes such a wonderful sequel about Renesmee's life as a young adult.
I heartily recommend it for all Twilight fans.
Enjoy!

Not What I Thought

Not sure what I expected really but the most satisfying part of this read was Leah finding love as her story never was finished. Everything else I have particular like or dislike.

Great addition to the story's

Even though this is a different author it is a welcome read to the storyline. I enjoyed it very much. This could lead to another book. I would read in a heart beat.

Good read

It wasn't a bad read overall. The names were standardized yelled wrongs but oIl imagine that was because of copywrite issues.

Thought this book was pretty good! Too bad Stephanie Meyers wasn't the author but this author did a great job with continuing the story.

Stephanie Meyer should use this author

Rated so low because it is not original
Poorly written.
Author is using the words of another, more creative writer.

Twilight spinoff

Amateurish. Author misprinted Jacob Black with "Block" and Bella's name was not "Bell". Many grammar errors. Not going to keep this.

Waste of money. I maybe read 15 pages. Horrible writing and calling Bella Bell was annoying. Note to self stick to authors of a book not knock offs

Amazing

It was pretty good. There were a cough or mistakes in grammar but the book was amazing. There was the same romance and adventure as the real twilight books
