Life without a regular, steady supply of water is a struggle, many countries and peoples can testify to that fact. Imagine if the problem was world-wide. What if the world was robbed of one of the basic needs for life? How would it cope? How long would animal life, plant life and of course, human life survive without a steady supply?

What if life was threatened from beyond the confines of our world? Whenever there’s news of a comet, asteroid, meteor or meteorite coming close to Earth, we tend to panic and fear the worst case scenario. What would we do?

Which would be worse; a slow lingering death from thirst or a sudden terrifying death from a cosmic nemesis?

In Red Mass, David York faces us with both these ‘what-ifs’ and describes how humanity could deal with the eventuality – both for good and evil.

Don't Let the Length of this Book Fool You

For the amount of pages, this story was so richly spun, one feels like it's a full-length novel instead of a quick read. I usually, as a rule, skip over books with less than 200 hundred pages. I am so glad I gave this book a chance! A totally different take on the super popular apocalyptic theme, this story will hold your interest from start to finish. Nice addition of there being a moral to this tale as well. ;) (It's never stated, one just gets it.) FIVE STARS
