When Officer Brate brings a drug dog to visit Griff Fitzpatrick, the sleuth who talks to animals, none of them are ready for what he sniffs up. Least of all, Griff, who struggles to prove the drug-smuggling plot he’s uncovered because all the witnesses keep turning up dead. Griff fears he’s next on the hit list.
He doesn’t want to die before solving the mystery of his sister's disappearance, but there’s a ruthless killer who will stop at nothing to ensure that Griff doesn't talk to any more animals...
griff gets involved in what appears to be the kidnapping of a police sniffer dog...but turns into a major drug case and murder. in addition, gruff finds evidence his sister left home voluntarily and has been living in Seattle. the questions are why did she leave and why did his mother keep it such a secret and blighted his life with imaginary fears of stranger danger?
One more to read.....and if the reason his sister left isn't revealed by the end of the SIXTH book ...I'm done. Enjoyable little series but come on already.
I have several of these books. A very good read and any dog lover or cat lover for that matter would enjoy. Parts of the story is funny. It has a little of everything
