John Slater is back for another story in this series. I love these books! They are short, but so full of action and they keep me wanting more, more, and then some more. Well this round Slater is back to fulfill his duties to the, Dire End police department. He agreed to work as a special agent for one week in order to have his vehicle repaired at no cost to him. And, this gives him his chance, or so he thinks, to get one step closer to his crush, detective Maci Walker. If you haven't picked up on this series yet, I think you ought to! I truly recommend these.

Another harrowing adventure

John Slater is back. This chain-smoking bad boy is out to kick butt and solve some supernatural crime...at least until his car is fixed.
Tensions are rising in Dire End and perhaps this dark fantasy horror world needs John Slater.
