His reluctant deal with the force kicks off with a bang when they track down the creature responsible for the boardwalk attack. The Gill isn’t done—it’s on a mission to kill the killers.
Slater’s trademark cynicism is tested as he's paired with an overly optimistic partner and thrown into the chaos of a violent gang called The Exterminators. They’re stirring up trouble—and someone wants them gone.
Meanwhile, Maci Walker has his eye. She’s acting strange.
Slater’s always been good at walking away… but this time, he might have to stick around.
John Slater, a cop? Well, if it gets him the girl and free car repair, he's in. This volume continues where the last left off with Slater hunting down a murderous Gill.
This series is amazing and I want more more more! The humor, the supernatural creatures, the way Slater wants to be a cold hearted person. I can't get enough!
John Slater is back for another story in this series. I love these books! They are short, but so full of action and they keep me wanting more, more, and then some more. Well this round Slater is back to fulfill his duties to the, Dire End police department. He agreed to work as a special agent for one week in order to have his vehicle repaired at no cost to him. And, this gives him his chance, or so he thinks, to get one step closer to his crush, detective Maci Walker. If you haven't picked up on this series yet, I think you ought to! I truly recommend these.
John Slater is back. This chain-smoking bad boy is out to kick butt and solve some supernatural crime...at least until his car is fixed. Tensions are rising in Dire End and perhaps this dark fantasy horror world needs John Slater. Starting #3 now!
This one is my favorite so far!! I laughed WAY too hard on this one!! I said it in my last review, and I will say it again, I am freaking OBSESSED! These are WONDERFUL for helping you get into the groove for Halloween! Another 5-star rating because it is THAT good lol
Slater is one of a kind. Searching for the murderous monster, Slater thinks he might have a clue. Short read, but it was very interesting and intriguing. This series will keep you wanting more.
