About the author

A native New Englander, Tom Turner ran a bar in Vermont after college, then moved to New York and spent time as an award-winning copywriter at several Manhattan advertising agencies.

After years of post-Mad Men life, he made a radical change and got a job in commercial real estate. A few years later he ended up in Palm Beach, buying, renovating and selling houses. On the side, he wrote Palm Beach Nasty, its sequel, Palm Beach Poison, and a screenplay, Underwater.

While at a wedding, he fell for the charm of Charleston, South Carolina, and moved there. He recently completed his third novel entitled, Killing Time in Charleston.

If you’re looking for a diverting, entertaining, and engrossing police procedural, pick up Palm Beach Shooter by veteran author Tom Turner. A mass shooting has occurred in Palm Beach, the home of the wealthy and the wannabes. A man walks into a country club and proceeds to gun down three victims and injure more. Crawford and Ott are faced with dozens of questions; number one, who is the guy, and why did he commit such an egregious crime? Unlike traditional crime scenes, there are no leads, no forensic evidence, and very little help supplied by the few eyewitnesses that Crawford and Ott interview. Palm Beach Shooter is about good old-fashioned police work, which means wearing out shoe leather, talking to people on the phone and in person, and trying to put together a reasonable timeframe and chain of events. Love these books

Another exciting story where Crawford and Off track down a mass murderer... Who shot up an exclusive club in Palm Beach killing 3 and injuring 6 people. The guy is a dreamy looking dude from England, A con, grifter, and smooth talker. Charlie an Ott have to do some good old pound the pavement police work after the guy killed someone else suspected of the club murders. Whoda thought spelling could catch a murderer it but did..

This was one of the best books I've read in the series if your a cop story lover like I am I recommend this book.

Great ending for Charlie but where was ott?

Once again the who is richer b crowd in palm beach get their come joins when a shooter comes to call at the rich peoples country club does his damage and it takes forever to catch him but Charlie does congrats ...ciao from Bobbie and George..

Crawford and Ott solve another one!

Mr. Turner has written a great story. This one has a crime at the start and then Police gathering evidence to find who the killer was! The story is about how they have to work diligently collecting evidence and the arresting the correct criminal! Enjoy the mystery!

Good, but not great

Look forward to reading this book so much after having read a review that was the best Tom Turner/Crawford book yet. Well, it wasn’t. While I enjoyed the book very much it certainly didn’t rank at the very top.

Stretched through a line for the Palm Beach detectives Morton Charlie did it again with a great storyline with many potential characters. They finally got their man. The book was an easy read and interesting the whole way.
