The 12 Quilts of A Heartstrings Holiday Collection

Welcome to Heartstrings Quilt Co., a cozy quilt shop nestled in the snowy heart of Sweetwater Falls, where every bolt of fabric holds a memory and every stitch tells a story.

In this heartwarming collection of twelve interconnected tales, quilt shop owner Kate Adamson reflects on the joys, sorrows, and unexpected moments that have walked through her doors over thirty magical Christmases. From long-lost friends reunited through unfinished quilt blocks to a young girl finding hope in a circle of patchwork stars, The 12 Quilts of Christmas celebrates the healing power of fabric, faith, and community.

Each story features a unique quilt and the person it was meant for—some given, some found, some finished just in time. And as Kate prepares to close her beloved shop, she leaves behind one final gift stitched with love and gratitude for all who’ve passed through Heartstrings.

Quilters should read with a box of tissues handy. And a good answer for non-quilters that wonder why anyone would go through all that when you can just buy a finished blanket. Heartwarming!

Touching stories

This is a book filled with wonderful, touching glimpses into warmth and love. My mediocre rating goes to the editors. Throughout, dates are so out of whack they detract and build on each other. E.g., a quilt “found on December 22nd, lovingly stitched night after night, and finished Christmas Eve [sic]”. You will still need a box of tissues, though.
